A second love neither expected
It's not a sweeping romance with grand gestures and an instant knowing, it's a quieter love that develops slowly as they spend time together. But just because it's not a big, loud love doesn't make it any less, it's a deep, true and accepting love.
Beth and Dave have both been widowed and neither expected to love again, the fear of loving someone again and then losing them is always there. The bigger fear is that loving someone new means forgetting those they lost and moving on, but love is not limited and they both understand that they will always love the spouse they lost. It takes time to accept that that love doesn't detract from the love they feel for each other now, both can exist and the reality of that is both heartwarming and beautiful.
This is a delightful series that gives us all hope for the future.
