Dan Ames' Dark Command follows Army veteran Dave's first-person narrative through dangerous situations, as he lays a trail of 'breadcrumbs' for the thugs to follow - into his ambush. Lots of action, a great storyline and a fight for his life, to keep you interested - what's not to love?

PI Dave O’Donnell was immediately captive to the request from his weekend of wonder when he was very young, his girlfriend Rose. She’s looking for her former husband who has disappeared. There are no clues, no suspects, nothing to start with, just a disappearance. Just what Dave O’Donnell specializes in. Another thriller with non-stop action that keeps you going from first to last paragraph. Just like the other thrillers in this series, get out the popcorn and a comfortable seat because you are going to be up all night.

Dave O’Donnell is back in Dark Command by Dan Ames one of my favorite authors. In this book Dave is supposed to find a missing ex husband that has gone silent. This turns out to be a dark and sinister story that takes some physical stamina to solve. Once again am I amazed at the way Ames can tell so much in so few pages. He sure is a master storyteller. I really recommend this series as well as others from this writer, he has never let me down. Thanks Dan for the advance copy.

Men will be men and few things in life will ever change that. Which is why Dave O'Donnell accepted a job from a childhood girlfriend, Rose.
Rose had an ex husband that seems to have disappeared and she wants him found.
Which is how Dave started to get assaulted a couple of times. Seriously so.
Dark Command is another great thriller by Dan Ames that will keep one captivated in the plot, dragging you along willy nilly right up to the very last paragraph in the book.

An excellent fast-paced thriller with a well written storyline and an outstanding main character. Another special investigative case for Dave O'Oonnell to solve anyway possible. A page turning read that I would definitely highly recommend. Dan Ames is a great storyteller and once again delivers a top-notch thriller.

Dave O'Donnell gets a visit from a woman he knew in the past - Rose. Seems her ex-husband has gone missing and she asks Dave for his help in finding him. There are few clues but Dave follows them and it doesn't take long before he finds himself in danger. But that won't stop Dave from finding out what is going on.
