I've been waiting for Noah and Katie's story ever since finishing Tyler and Gemma's book, and it was absolutely worth the wait! From the emotional prologue, I was completely hooked. Noah is finally home after ten years, carrying plenty of regrets and determined to make amends for pushing Katie away. While Katie has every reason to keep her distance, I loved that neither of them could truly stay away from each other. The connection between them is impossible to ignore and you can feel their chemistry on every page. As former best friends, Noah and Katie already share such a deep history, and I adored the glimpses of their childhood through the notes they exchanged. Those moments added so much heart and nostalgia to their journey. This story pulls you in from the very beginning and keeps you invested in every twist and turn. I couldn't wait to see how things would work out for them.
And can we talk about Everleigh? She completely stole every scene she was in! She's an absolute hoot, and after reading this book, I can't wait for her story because I know it's going to be a good one. An emotional, heartfelt second-chance romance that kept me turning the pages.

Book #2 in the trilogy is another page turner! I love how Brookes books are a little spice mixed in with a little drama and intensity. This book did not disppoint.
Noah and Katie were always destined to be together since they were kids. Best friends who had more feelings for the other but were afraid to speak out loud.
Noah returns to their small town out of prison ready to move past his history. Katie is now a single mom who does all she can for her son. They both find out that those feelings were never gone.
Stick around and find out where this story goes. I promise you that you wont be let down!

This story grips you right from the beginning and doesn't let you go!
Brooke is good at that haha.
Noah & Katie’s story is very intense and will keep you at the edge of your seat the whole time.
I didn't see some of the twists with this one and I’m usually great at figuring everything out right away.

Definitely recommend picking this one up on audio. Dual Narration by Tor Thom and Lia Langola.
Lia once again brought an amazing performance. She brought so much depth and emotion to her character.

If you love a lot of angst with your spicy romance definitely check this one out!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book was so good. It starts with Noah pining over Katie. The girl who had always been his best friend, until she wasn’t. But one kiss changed everything for him, and he was too chicken sh!t to do anything about it. Unfortunately, his evil cousin, Gabe, sure as hell wasn’t. The cad, made her believe he was the man for her. He said, all the right things, did all the right things, and even became all the right things. Until, after they got married.

But, especially after she got pregnant. It turned out he had been screwing around on Katie from the very beginning. Now mind you people knew and no one said a word to Katie or Gabe’s mom. Katie and Noah remained best friends. He had started to get word that Gabe was messing around, however, Katie was close to her due date and was starting to have Braxton Hicks, and didn’t have proof. He asked her where Gabe was, and she said, “At the bar drinking with the boys.”

So, he went to the bar to tell Gabe it was time to go home; his wife was having pre-labor pain and needed him around. He of course said, “No!” It could have had something to do with the blonde chick hanging all over him. Noah said, Enough, Gabe you should be home with Katie not out here acting like you're single or along those lines. Noah said, “I’ll just let Katie know you had a more important person to entertain rather than spending time with Katie your wife.

Let’s see if she stays with you then.” Let’s just say Gabe was pissed. He jumped up and told Noah as he pushed him hard, “You better not, or she will be six feet under. I will never let her leave me. You don’t think I don’t know how you have lusted after my wife, because you were too chicken to ask her out yourself?“ That was it. Gabe pushed Noah hard when Noah tried to walk away, and when he did it again Noah pushed back. But, with Gabe falling and hitting his head he didn't sustain a brain injury, and he died.

Noah was arrested for his murder and received ten years in prison. Katie never blamed him for what happened. Because what she never told Noah was that she knew about Gabe’s cheating ways. The sad thing about it was that her whole life she had been deeply in love with Noah. Her best friend and Noah’s sister, Gemma, had tried to tell her to go after Noah. To ask him out or at least tell him. When he returned home it would be awkward at first, and he didn’t know how everyone would receive him.

But he would be given a chance. She decided she would see how he felt and let him know, but also that he would always be her best friend when she got out. However, he never returned any of her letters or allowed her to see him. And now he is getting out and Katie is upset that Gemma is even asking her to give her brother a chance to make a smooth transition back home. Katie is so angry. She tells Gemma that as long as he stays away from her all will be fine.

Because if she sees him it’s liable to get physical and not nice either. Ten years is a long time for a girl to build up such anger, but he chose it, so he needs to own it. See how a love like theirs was able to break apart over these ten years. They lived and experienced totally different lives. Looked at the same past experiences from two different viewpoints and came out close, yet far apart from getting back to where Noah truly wanted to be.

See how they finally make this work and blend into this to form a family that turns into a village. Loved the characters, another winner.

This is Book 2 of the Let Me Trilogy series!

I was lucky enough to receive as an ARC 🥰

Brooke Montgomery somehow managed to combine second chances, forbidden feelings, ANGST, suspense and a love that has been waiting ten years into one incredibly addictive romance.

Noah has been in love with Katie for as long as he can remember. She’s his sister’s best friend, the person who knows him better than almost anyone… and the woman he was too afraid to tell how he felt about.

So instead of fighting for her, he watches her fall in love with someone else. 💔

And then EVERYTHING changes.

When Noah discovers his cousin cheating on his pregnant wife, a confrontation ends with his cousin dead and Noah behind bars. And rather than face Katie, he shuts her out completely. For TEN YEARS. 😭 The fact that she kept writing to him and he refused to let her in absolutely BROKE ME.

Then he finally comes home determined to make up for lost time and prove to Katie that he is the man she should have had all along. 🥹❤️

I LOVED the emotional depth of Noah and Katie’s story. There is SO much history, regret, unresolved love and yearning between them, and watching Noah finally stop running from his feelings was everything. Their relationship felt like that “it was always you” kind of love and I was completely invested.

BUT because this is a Brooke Montgomery book, of course we can't just have the romance. 👀🔥

Someone in town hasn't forgotten what happened ten years ago, and they are determined to make sure Noah doesn't get a second chance at life… which added such an addictive suspense element and kept me wondering what was coming next.

The ANGST. The yearning. The second chance. The twists. THE CHEMISTRY. 😭🖤 This one had me turning the pages because I needed to know if Noah and Katie could finally get the life they should have had all those years ago.
And that ending?! MY HEART. 🥹❤️

TROPES:
✨ Second-Chance Romance
✨ Sister’s Best Friend
✨ Friends to Lovers
✨ First Love
✨ Small-Town Romance
✨ Years of Pining
✨ Unresolved Feelings
✨ He’s Loved Her Forever
✨ Forced Proximity

He spent ten years running from the woman he loved. Now Noah is finally ready to show Katie that some loves are worth fighting for.

Thank you for the opportunity to ALC review this book. Spicy romantic suspense is always my go to! This is a 4 star read for me. I really enjoyed it and I’m loving this series so far!

🩵Ex-Con MMC
🩵It’s always been you
🩵Forbidden

🩵Angst and pining

Noah is willing to wait forever if it means Katie will stay in his life. If friendship is all he gets, it’s worth it.

Katie married Noah’s cousin, who ended up being a garbage husband and soon to be father. When Noah found him at a bar with another woman while pregnant Katie was at home waiting for him, he and Noah fought and a single punch changed everyone’s lives forever.

Noah went to prison and Katie was raising her son alone. Until a decade later when Noah was released and ends up hiding in her under renovation future home.

Katie may have forgiven him, but not everyone in their small town feels the same. The problem is, no one is sure who is trying to hurt Noah and those around him. Noah isn’t only trying to protect himself, but also Katie and her son who he adores.

There are a lot of moving parts to their lives and the smallest slip up could have big consequences but they make it work.

I didn’t want to put this book down for the first 80%, but it did feel like the end could have been condensed a bit more. I enjoy the heard fought HEA, but it made me feel like I was waiting for something else bad to happen.

I can’t wait to read Everlay’s story next, and I’d love to eventually see a second generation series with all the kids somewhere down the line.

Y'all. This is such a great book! Emotional? Yes. Gut-wrenching? Yes. Beautiful? Also yes. I could not put this down once I started it!

This is the second book in a trilogy that showcases second chances in life after 1nc@rcer@t1on. Noah's story absolutely broke my heart because a terrible acc1dent disrupted so many lives!

Noah and Katie were so close as teenagers, but neither were brave enough to say they had more than friendly feelings for one another. So when Noah's cousin Gabe came to town and swept Katie away, Noah figured he had lost her for good.... But Gabe was not a fantastic person and an altercation between Noah and Gabe ended badly...

Noah has been gone for 10 years and in that time Katie has raised her son (with Gabe), bought a fixer upper (that she is attempting to renovate on her own) and has a successful career. Also in that time, Noah refused any contact with Katie, which broke her heart.

Now that Noah is back, he wants to make amends, but Katie is not so willing to forgive him for shutting her out. When it appears someone is not very happy that Noah is back (and breathing), Katie allows him to stay in her home so he can lay low... and then the feelings resurface....

This story is not all sunshine and flowers, but it is so very impactful. Definitely read this series in order to fully appreciate these characters.

Let Me Show You is the 2nd book in the Let Me Trilogy series by Brooke Fox.

Brooke continues to deliver the emotionally charged gripping suspense stories that have plenty for all to enjoy in this very entertaining page turner! I'm a fan of second chance romances and this one features Noah and Katie. They were friends growing up with secret crushes for each other and when tragedy strikes the trajectory of their futures are changed forever. Noah is sent to prison and Katie becomes a widowed single mom.

All that Noah and Katie endure from a tragic accident is gut wrenching and pulls at your heartstrings. When Noah returns to his hometown to start to rebuild his life there are people who can't forget the past and he becomes a target for their animosity. This has plenty of twists, secrets, right person wrong time, slow burn romance that adds plenty of spice, with a supportive family that I was totally immersed in their fight to be with each other. As the threats escalate, will they finally get their second chance or will they lose to the danger targeting them?

A captivating addition to this trilogy and definitely worth reading.

I received an early copy and I'm sharing my voluntary opinion.

Thank you to Brooke for the Gifted Audio!

I adored book one, but I knew Katie and Noah’s story was going to be unforgettable. And it was! With their past I felt so much for both of them. I wanted to bring Gabe back, because with what he did it felt like the easy way out. I have so much rage towards that twatapotamus.

You’ll have to read to find out, but he was a shitty person not only to his wife, but Noah too. These two deserve all the love and happiness they get. The plot of someone trying to off Noah was so good. Trying to put all the pieces together was fun. Everything just played out so well. Owen was the sweetest kid even when he wasn’t. I was so nervous to see how everything played out with him learning the truth about his dad and Noah. Brooke wrote the plot point so well. It was honest with big feelings and emotional maturity. Noah and Katie’s friendship growing up was so sweet and them finally having their time was everything I hoped for them!

I also cried…

The angst, the heartbreak, the tension, the suspense!! This book had me in an absolute chokehold and I swear I was feeling every bloody emotion along the way!!
TEN YEARS!! Ten years of lost time, unanswered letters, guilt, heartbreak and a love that never really went anywhere. My heart!! 🥹 The pining alone was enough to destroy me, but throw in a second chance, a man determined to prove he's always been the right one for her, and a whole lot of unresolved feelings and I WAS DONE!!
I absolutely devoured this. The slow burn, the chemistry, the emotional moments and then that delicious spice when things finally start falling into place!! YES PLEASE!! 🔥 And just when you think you can settle into their love story, Brooke throws in the suspense and unexpected twists that have you questioning everything.
I love a man who knows exactly who he wants and is willing to fight for her, especially when he's spent years believing he doesn't deserve her. The hurt, the healing and the fight to find their way back to each other had me completely invested.
Brooke Fox, you cannot keep putting my emotions through the wringer like this and expect me to function afterwards!!

I am loving this series so much! While this book does standalone, I highly recommend reading book 1, Let Me Keep You, first. You get great insight into Noah and Katie's past and the current heartbreak and tension between these two prior to Noah's release from prison.

The tension between Noah and Katie in the beginning is delicious! Katie wants to hate him so bad and she just can't. I loved their communication (once Katie would finally speak more than 2 words to him anyway, lol) and how they worked through life. Noah and Owen had such a special relationship and I loved watching them grow closer. I adored how they handled Owen learning the truth about what happened. The ending was sweet as pie and also has me so excited for the final book in this series!

I removed a star because there was no mystery about who that villain was and that is my favorite part about a romantic suspense. I want to blame it on all the wrong people and be shocked in the end.

Lia Langola and Tor Thom narrate this audiobook and did a great job! Lia Langola was perfect as Katie!

Huge thanks to Brooke Fox for the gifted audio and ebook!

This is the second in the Let Me trilogy from Brooke Fox, & I enjoyed it as much as the first one!

Audio: This one is dual narration with Tor Thom & Lia Langola returning to voice Noah & Katie. They both do a great job bringing these characters to life! The emotion, the angst, the healing, it was done very well!

Story: This one like the first is a romantic suspense, and it follows Katie & Noah on their journey back to each other. They were friends, best friends, who harbored crushes on the other but neither could see, & then Katie ended up with Noah's cousin. Fast forward to a tragedy that landed Noah behind bars, & he refused Katie seeing him for a decade. Now he is out & back in town, looking for a fresh start in both life, & with Katie. And that's about all I will give y'all (no spoilers here!)!

It is such a ride of a story! The way Katie & Noah still care for one another but Noah has lots to make up for, & how he wants to win Katie & be apart of her & her son's life is admirable! Her learning to forgive him is also well done! Friends to lovers after a decade of no contact? GIMME! The suspense & villians were also a bit of a shock! I love a good twisty twist!!

Can't wait to dive into the final book when it releases 10/14!

Let Me Show You is single mum Katie , her son Owen and Noah’s best friend’s to lovers story. It’s book two in the Let Me Trilogy and yes this is a standalone but I believe to get the best from this story you should read the first book in the trilogy before picking this one up. This is a romance with depth and layers and I was drawn in from the first chapter and there was no putting down until the final line was read.
I really don’t want to write a review full of spoilers because I believe this book needs to be read first hand with no preconceived ideas. Katie and Noah are easy to connect with but it was Owen who stole my heart. I smiled, I swooned and I shed a tear as I joined this couple on their journey but what took this book to another level were the twists and turns I didn’t see coming. A well written, entertaining and engaging read with a mix of suspense and I loved it.

I had to start this when I knew I had time to really dive in because I knew once I started Noah and Katie’s story, I wouldn’t be able to stop for any reason. And boy, I wasn’t wrong….I couldn’t put this down.

The pining from Noah, as he has had feelings for Katie for years but stepped to the side when his cousin made his move. Watched from the sidelines as Katie and Gabe built a family but it all fell apart in one night and he ended up in prison.

Katie is a single mom, she has tried to reach out to Noah, her best friend and let her feelings be known but he never responded. So now that he is being released, she wants to part of him. The hurt and anger has built up for ten years.

The relationship between them is sweet, especially the way they rebuild their friendship. The way Noah is with Owen is great and when he learned the truth about his father and Noah, it was handled wonderfully.

I was excited to read Katie and Noah’s story about finishing book one.

Noah is finally home after years and carrying so much regret and determined to make amends for pushing Katie away. Katie has her reason to keep her distance but I loved that neither of them could truly stay away from each other. The connection between them is impossible to ignore and you could feel how much chemistry they have.

Katie and Noah do share such a deep history and I loved seeing all the glimpses of their childhood and the notes that they exchanged. The moments made the ending really special and just show how much they both care and love each other. Their story is filled with twists and turns but they do it together. I loved how Noah was respectful of Owen and letting him adjust to joining their family. I am happy that Katie and Noah finally got the life together that they deserve.

Everleigh is next and I can’t wait to see what she is going to stir up.

Katie and Noah were well worth the wait!! I knew this man was going to have to grovel to get her forgiveness, and boy did he! Who doesn’t love a down bad man who’s been in love with you for years and helps renovate the home you want to move into??? The forced proximity and pining was so so good!!

Seeing Noah have a relationship with Katie’s son, Owen, made my heart melt. Noah is definitely book boyfriend material. Watching him and Katie reconnect and fall in love was so cute!!

If you’ve read the other books under Brooke Fox, you know she does romantic suspense. The mystery part of this book was a doozy! But watching Katie and Noah protect and care for one another made me love them even more!!

If you love a second chance, it’s always been you, romantic suspense with found family, small town vibes, and the best girl gang, then you should definitely add this one to your tbr!!

Emotional and exciting.

I loved this. I have previously read this as a duet under the 'Kennedy Fox' name, but enjoyed it just as much as Book 2 in the 'Let Me Trilogy' by Brooke Fox. It does make for a long story, and there were a few moments from about 75% read, where the story could have ended, however, the continuation of the story included so many heartfelt, emotional and beautiful moments that I would not have changed a thing. I loved both Katie and Noah and was very moved by their friends-to-lovers romance. They had much to overcome, with an exciting roller coaster journey to their hard won HEA. I also loved Katie's son, Owen, and enjoyed his responses to the changes happening around him. It was lovely to see more of Tyler and Gemma from Book 1 enjoying their own HEA, and spending more time with Everleigh has me eagerly awaiting her story next.

Noah and Katie’s story and history is heartbreaking, tragic, and ultimately amazingly beautiful. Their story puts new meaning to the right person/wrong time and young love not recognizing young love. In the end, their story had to play out exactly (heartbreakingly) how it did, otherwise Owen would never exist and he is the crucial part of the amazing story and life that they build! Though is someone determined to make sure Noah pays for his perceived sins, and you have an amazing love story full of suspense.

An epic love story
This is such a heartfelt story that brought all the feels. Katie and Noah’s journey from friends to lovers was a hard fought battle filled with secrets, longing, betrayal, tragedy, regrets and new starts.
There’s also mystery, suspense and intrigue, twists and turns and action.
The characters are realistic and relatable. I loved the fund family and deep friendships.
Filled with longing, angst, heartbreak, sweetness, banter and slow burn steam, this is another must read from a very talented author.

This second book brings you right into Noah and Katie’s story and keeps you reading! He’s trying to get his life back on track and change the way people see him and she’s an important part of his past. There are so many emotions in this one along with plenty of suspense, twists, and attraction between these two. They have to work through so much that you just keep hoping for them to get their happy ever after!

So excited to finally read Katie and Noah's story! I knew there was going to be some angst with these two but Noah's came back humbled and just wanted to be a part of Katie's life. Some scenes made me tear up but always love a HEA! Owen's bonus epilogue was so precious. Can't wait for Everleigh and Archer's story!! Maybe Owen as an adult can get his own spin off series.
