Peter Bishop is a rising star in the fastest growing mega-church in the world. His unique talents bring him to the biggest stages in the country and soon to an international audience. A prophecy from a complete stranger seems to validate a position of great prominence for the young pastor, except for one the closer he gets to God, the more at odds he is with the church leadership. On the edge of denominational super-stardom, Peter must choose between truth and integrity or glory and money. His decision opens the door to a house church ministry that draws ire from an influential local pastor.
Some decisions, where Faith is concerned, are difficult ones. Peter Bishop had to choose between God and his church. Did he make the right decision? Did he follow the money or did he follow his heart?
This is a great read and you won't want to put it down. I became so attached to the main character that I didn't want it to end. I hope Peter Bishop's story will continue......
Parting Ways by Patrick Sipperly is as real as it gets.

Peter Bishop has watched the preachers on tv every Sunday with his mom since he was young, he always took much pride in learning about God, once he graduates high school, he knows he wants to spread the word of God, but he doesn't want to be poor either. He becomes a Great Minister that can reach people with his preachings. But he comes to the point that he must choose to either keep his faith in God and God in his heart or take the path to denomination.
This book is not what I thought it would be, it will definitely leave you with a different outlook. It's fresh and exhilarating , I think anyone who reads it will enjoy it. I hope Pat Sipperly continues to write about Peter Bishop.
