My name is Bex Moore, and I help supernatural beings integrate into the human world. It's steady work, fulfilling, and only occasionally involves paperwork filling itself out wrong. As a powerless fae in a world full of magic, I can relate to my clients more than they know.
Take, for instance, Mara Wolff, who just landed her dream job at a bakery downtown. She's talented, determined, and absolutely certain she has the full moon situation handled.
She does not have the full moon situation handled.
Now I've got a werewolf with a workplace problem, an HOA that's filing formal complaints, and something stirring in the town's copper seam that's drawing supernatural newcomers faster than I can process their paperwork. My vampire assistant is deeply offended by all of it. My poltergeist office manager "helps" by employing increasingly whacky filing methods and losing things I need left and right. They're both spectacularly useless, and the inbox isn't getting any emptier.
It's a good thing the coffee next door is excellent. The man who makes it is annoyingly handsome and absolutely not a distraction from the chaos I need to handle.
This book offers a delightful twist on the cozy mystery genre. Instead of investigating a murder, Bex Moore spends her days solving problems for the supernatural residents of Copperhaven as they try to coexist with unsuspecting humans. The challenges range from the amusing to the absurd—a banshee receiving noise complaints, a brownie accidentally creating coffee that reflects customers' emotions, or a dragon requesting an underground lair complete with a moat beneath his house. The result is a story filled with creativity, humor, and plenty of unexpected situations.
Bex is a wonderful protagonist. As a fixer and advocate for the supernatural community, she navigates disputes, regulations, and the occasional magical crisis with patience and determination. The central storyline, helping a werewolf named Mara separate from her pack and establish a life of her own, adds heart and emotional depth to the novel while introducing readers to an engaging cast of supernatural characters.
What truly made this book shine for me was the memorable cast of office staff. Antoine and Cloyce provided some of the funniest moments in the story. Cloyce was my favorite character and stole every scene he appeared in. His unconventional filing system and unique way of looking at the world brought both humor and charm, and I found myself smiling whenever he was on the page.
Beneath the humor and magical chaos is a story about community, acceptance, and finding a place where you belong. The stakes may not involve saving the world, but they feel important because they matter deeply to the characters. The author has created a warm, welcoming world populated by memorable personalities, imaginative magical problems, and a genuine sense of heart.
I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Bex, her unusual staff, and the residents of Copperhaven. This was a delightful, comforting read that kept me laughing while reminding me of the importance of understanding and helping one another. I am already looking forward to returning to this world and reading the next book in the series.

I enjoyed this book. In some ways it's not my normal cozy mystery because there is no murder to investigate. However not really sure what genre it should be in. As it did have a cozy supernatural feel to it. Which ever category you want to place it in, it was a quirky fun read.
Instead of a murder case, Bex has a number of problems or cases to solve. However they are not your normal type of problems as Bex is a fixer for the supernatural and most of the problems involve the supernatural trying to blend in and live with humans that for the most part don't know they exist. So imagine trying to get permission to build an underground layer big enough for a Dragon and you get the idea. There are lots of side problems that need solving, which keep it entertaining. As do the unusual office staff. The main case, helping a werewolf break away from her pack gives the author an opportunity for her imagination to take over, as we meet different characters and find ways to solve the problems. A fun first book in a new series that could turn out to be quite interesting and I am looking forward to finding out. I was given this free review copy book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
This book was a pleasant change from mystery or murder and yet, still a cozy book. We follow Bex thru her job as a supernatural representative for supernaturals living among the humans. Some humans, if they see something magical choose to ignore what they see, Bex has her hands full taking care of small property disputes like a banchee making noises that are too loud. Then some things are harder to deal with like the dragon wants a cave beneath his house that is larger than the home and to add to that, he wants a moat down there. Then she has a brownie who tried to make coffee taste better, but what the machine makes is coffee that reflects the customers emotions. Imagine a coffee shop with customers are crying? In steps Mara, a wolf who wants to break from her pack and now she needs help with boundaries for supernaturals and a place she can change at the full moon. I enjoyed the characters, the building issues and there was no shortage of genre of supers.
This was such a pleasant read. The story flowed like a gentle boat ride down a slow-moving river, inviting me to simply relax and enjoy the journey. I loved the quirky cast of supernatural characters, the small-town charm, and the blend of magic with everyday administrative chaos.
My absolute favourite character was Cloyce. His filing system based on “post-lunar emotional residue” had me smiling every time he appeared, and his peculiar logic added so much heart and humour to the story.
More than anything, this is a book about community, acceptance and helping people find where they belong. It may not have huge stakes or dramatic twists, but it doesn’t need them. It’s warm, comforting and quietly delightful. A lovely escape into a world I was happy to spend time in.
Bex Moore is the go-to person for supernaturals having trouble integrating with the human side of Copperhaven. Most humans are clueless that their neighbors or co-workers are supernatural, but problems can arise when selkies flood apartments, banshees get noise complaints, or werewolves have full moon issues. Aided by her staff, a vampire and a poltergeist, Bex unravels chaos to keep the town running smoothly.
This book kept me laughing. Antoine and Cloyce are a riot. Filing by the gravitational influence of the planets? OMG! A lot of imagination went into this storyline. I cannot wait to read the next book. I received an advance copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.
This book is delightful! It is one of those books that you could just sit down on a great day and just read all the way through. Unfortunately for me I chose it as my book to read at night and so I was only making a page a day movement through it.
If you are a wordsmith who enjoys quirky and interesting characters you will really enjoy this book. The action is continuous but gentle. It's like a slow moving stream. The pacing allows the reader to be completely engaged with each situation. And I truly love the main character. And there's a lot of room for character development for multiple characters introduced to us. And yet I didn't feel like I didn't know any of them. The book was complete within itself and yet I'm ready to read the next one. I sincerely hope this series continues.
Full Moon, Full Inbox Book 1 of The Supernatural Consultant Files by Paula Lester is not your usual cozy mystery, no murder (yet) but cozy just the same. The FMC Bex is the supernatural "go to girl" for solving the paranormal communities' problems and in such a funny and hilarious way. I enjoyed and laughed my way through this book, and I so can't wait to see what happens next! Recommend!

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Bex and her unusual office staff. Bex is a "fixer" for paranormals and works between the supernaturals and humans in their small town. The story has quite a bit of humor to go along with all the issues that Bex is determined to "fix".

This truly a delightful start to what is going to be a wonderful series. I loved the characters, so different from each other yet belonging with each other. I read it slowly, savoring every sentence. Enjoying the story. I can not wait to read the next book to find out why Antoine doesn’t like the new client. Delightful.
This was such a cute and cozy read. I loved that Bex was the go to person when it came to complaints or those not being able to acclimate to their surroundings. Humans and paranormal oriole trying to live together. This was so much fun. I found so much enjoyment reading this one.
Beautifully written and illustrated with words. No profanity needed! I was immediately drawn into the story, the characters, and all their interactions. Hoping for many more in this series.
This was my first book that I have read by Paula Lester and now that I have finished it I will look for more. I enjoyed the plot and liked the way humans and non-humans could live together. This book approved by the cat on my lap.
