A fun read!

For this being the authors first work it was pretty great!

If you are looking for a stress free, romantic read with lots of yearning and low spice but all the goodness of romance this is the perfect book.

I adore all things demons and it was definitely a unique and different read. It didn't feel like anything I have read before (a very good thing) and I honestly can say I am happy that I read it!

The pacing is unique, the characters are funny and I truly laughed out loud at several parts. I am looking forward to reading more of their work!

A story and characters worth squealing over, however this book desperately needs an editor. The repetition and scene inconsistencies were numerous. I don’t even want to hazard a guess at how many times the word emotionally was used. The banter was next level. The story was mostly dialogue centric with a hefty dose of chaos. You don’t really get into the characters heads, so you have to read between the lines for the emotional connection. If any of this isn’t your jam or a dealbreaker I recommend not reading this book. Despite all of this books flaws I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Absolutely amazing!

Seriously, I almost had an asthma atack from laughing. But it's not just a funny story, it's heartwarming and sweet and romantic and absolutely worth the reed, if you are a total nerd like me, who loves language, demons, romance and total chaos in both heaven and hell. Read it!

Oh my goodness, this book was so much fun. I follow the author on Instagram and her writing always makes me smile. This book had so many moments to make me laugh. The pacing was fun, the story was witty and entertaining. I hope the author has more books as this was a great escape. If you want a fun read with demons and humans with questionable life choices, then you need this book.

Chaotically fun to read

Entertaining writing style, love the characters. Home is with your people.

The tidbits the author put up on social media had me hooked on this story from the first post so I had to buy the book!

This is funny. I wanted Nina to make the hellbeast her pet though. I liked the chaos, and the characters. More to go.

Found me my newest author!

I read little snip bits on Instagram reels and fell in love with this story. So I went to Amazon to find and buy it! I'm so glad I did, its one of the best demon books I've read. So worth the money.
I love how is romantic and funny at the same time. The demons are smartasses but you love them. I like how the characters are, you get to know them and fall in love with them. Story line is awesome most times you don't get demon families meeting human families and they all get along well. It works.
I'm glad I bought, and I found my new favorite author. I'm looking forward to more stories! I recommend this book! You won't be disappointed.

Fun

Light, fun, short read. I loved the banter the most. Dialogue was a strength in the book, however- there were quite a few repetitive words used where descriptive language could have helped strengthen the story instead. As a mood reader- I was vibing to the fun development of the story. It has its highs and lows for me.

It got me out of a reading slump, and for that, I'm grateful.

Better than I expected and such an enjoyable story. Was way better than reading the posts on Instagram. Definitely worth the read.

Needs serious editing

This had to have been published prematurely. There are serious editing errors in the first 12 chapters. Grammatical errors galore. The banter is good, but that’s all it is. Endless banter. The dialogue also has little preamble so it’s often difficult to discern who is speaking. There are time jumps that make no sense and are infuriating. The first 6 chapters seem like they were two different beginnings smashed together with some repeat dialogue. There might be some chapters missing that would explain a confusing time jump where he supposedly cleaned her apartment. And confusingly there was 3 day where they just acted like a married couple and we don’t even get any of it described. There would be a ton they need to talk about, and were to believe 3 days just passed?? I have to DNF this book at chapter 12 because the annoying roommate has been dialed up to 1000, and combined with the endless confusing banter, I can’t tolerate it enough to read more.

This still gets 2 stars for the banter and plot, and had potential but good lord this needed even just a little editing.

If I have to read “this somehow is worse” “someone is being dramatic” “someone got offended” “something about someone being emotional or this was emotionally something or emotionally ruined etc” and some other constantly repetitive dialogue phrases.. I WILL SCREAM..
I see the idea behind this book.. it is not bad by any means.. BUT when you start this book, those dialogues are funny but it gets OLD very fast because every 5 sentences in one dialogue someone says exactly the same thing.. the same exact phrase, and it got old really fast and also annoying

“This is your sign to never drink and summon demons.”

This was funny, weird, chaotic, and wildly entertaining. A solid 4-star read for anyone who likes their paranormal stories with a side of questionable life choices.

For the author’s first book, highly entertaining and a fast read. They definitely do need an editor or ARC readers for sure.

I would definitely recommend this book.

Haven't put it down

this book kept coming up on my Instagram with snippets of what is to come and I loved every moment of the. The story is brilliant and in a way a complete feel good story. It does repeat itself many times with words, sentences and couples. But you know what it is still a lovely book to just switch your brain off to. Thank you for writing it!

Good for a laugh

It’s really cute and has a few really good laughs in it. Could have used aggressive editing but honestly I enjoyed it for what it was.
Not necessarily worth $6 as it sits but I don’t regret buying it either

It was a fun time but it also had so so many plot holes, grammatical errors and general issues in the writing style. I genuinely liked the idea behind this but hated that they had to get married almost immediately after they've met. Still enjoyed reading it because of the humour and because it didn't take itself seriously. I'm easily entertained though. That's why I give it 3 stars even though it probably should be 2.
