She took a year off to write her first book Intimate Intentions, which started off as a simple romance novel and later escalated into 542 pages of romantic suspense. After two submissions, Angie was offered a four-book contract with Genesis Press and her first book was released in 2001. In 2003, she also signed with BET Arabesque, and Kensington's Dafina imprint in 2004. In 2006, she added Parker Publishing, Aphrodisia and Harlequin Kimani Romance to her list. Loved returning back to Sheraton Beach! They have the cutest town 🥰 Love reading about the little town where everyone knows your name, family connection, and your business. I thought the Beaumont's would have a larger voice.
Blaze and Joanna's story was a page turner from start to finish.
Her girlfriends were ride & die. They asserted their money into their girl, making her come to some truths and had fun doing it.. Her sister, Paige, was just as invested and hilarious.
Blaze and Joanna had a slow-burn back to romance, that they had lost, because he left and went off in search of something he already had back at home. He came back, not knowing she would give them a second chance.
Ole girl was kind of getting on my nerves, whining about trusting Blaze not to leave her again, although I could empathise with her, just a little. However, if trust was the big issue, why involve yourself again?
About Seattle, I wasn't mad at him about not mentioning. Keep your options open! He didn't know how things would go. But he figured it out real soon. As far as Jo, she was looking for a reason not to trust him.
Closer to the end, I was on pins and needles, not knowing which way this fire situation would go.
Waiting on the next book in the bachelor series!

Joanna and Blaze can no longer avoid each other when her friends get together and wins her a date with him at the Bachelor auction. You see they used to be in love until Blaze left town chasing his dreams. Now he’s back and their friends are tired of them pining for each other from afar. Blaze and Joanna are forced to confront the past, deal with the pain his leaving cause and the lasting fear that Joanna lives with. Blazer has to show Joanna that it’s safe to love him and that he will not fumble her heart this time.

Good read!!!!
Johanna loved Blaze for so long but fear had her keeping her distance once he returned home but in the end they both realized love was greater than fear! Love won! Story was slow and steady and Johanna got on my nerves a little bit. Blaze finally got her to realize he loved her more than reaching for more regarding his life and career!

Blaze
Blaze and No needed to get the anger and fear handle before their love could survive. The ten separation took a great toll on both. As young people love can look like infatuation and not love. Time will make it become clear.
