John's story has the strongest emotional effect in me out of the Baker brothers books, there were moments when I felt like I wanted to just cry so badly, there were moments were I felt proud and happy of been part in a way of this wonderful series. John Baker is talented musician, lead singer of The Bad Boys Band, sensitive man, free spirited, wild, open minded, a king of the manwhore world, and the spoiled baby brother of the Bakers bunch. He embarks into a journey that left him wide open in order to keep Cyn, the only woman that stole his heart and wants to wake up with her in his arm for as long as he is alive.
Cyn has learned the hard way that people eventually leave you and that it is much better to embrace the present that to dream about a future by the side of a lover. She wasn't looking for love but she couldn't exist without John .

John Was My Favorite
John's my favorite. Maybe it's just because he's the baby of the family & so am I...but anyway. John & Cyn's story was lovely but also filled with hurt from their pasts. There were plenty surprise twists in the book & I loved it.

Desire too Hot To Handle made me laugh, cry and get mad all in one book. I have laughed in each book but this one made me shake my head a couple times. Loved the series and look forward to reading more by this author. The character development was great.

I think Tonya Brooks did an amazing job with The Bad Baker Boys series. John's story is my favorite. I can feel the love and the pain that John and Cyn feel. I can't wait to see what is in store for Lakeside.

The best bad boy of them all
This the story of John, thee youngest of thee bad Baker boys, and this rocker is definitely the best bad boy of them all. The story line is good, although the flow is a little clunky in parts, especially the retrospective that gives the back story of each family member. The resolution of the stalker issue wasn't very realistic, but this is fiction, after all. All in all a fitting end to the saga of the bad Baker boys.

You just never knew which way the story was going to go and it was not predictable. The story flowed and made you feel like the characters were part of your world. So funny and relaxing at the same time intriguing. You just can't wait to find out what happens next, the twist & turns. Guarantee you are going to laugh throughout this book.
The honesty in the intensity of John Baker's character was right on point. So many layers! Not many could have written it as well as Miss. Baker did.
You have to appreciate the courage that it takes to know what you want and go after it without reserve and without hesitation. There's a lot to be said about enthusiasm. No matter which direction John went in he did it full throttle. Meeting John woke something up in Cyn that she long since thought was dead and buried. Just looking at him makes her a complete wanton and there goes her thong. Wanting to enjoy and reap the benefits of a night with John outweighs her fear of losing her heart to him. So she just makes the most out of every minute of every day to enjoy the ride while it lasts. John has decided he doesn't want that ride to end. Now he must convince her to trust him.
There is so much that goes into this story that I don't know where to start. Out of all the Bakers I believe this one touched me the deepest. I highly recommend reading this series and in doing it in order because you really do get so much more out of it that way. My God how I laughed.

Get ready for some crazy WOW moments with the youngest and probably most sensitive Baker Boy, John. John is the epitome of the Rock-n-Roll musician; Sex, Drugs and Rock-n-Roll. Ok, to be fair drugs aren't on the menu anymore, but they were and those experiences definitely shaped how John looks at love and life. Cyn comes into his life totally unexpectedly and together they are like the best symphony. Great read!! I love this series and would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves the steamy romance stories, with a wonderful happy end.

WOW--This was a scorcher. John Baker is the baby of the family. A fabulous musician, who plays by ear. He can play any instrument, and can compose too. And his voice! Low and raspy, it could turn the best girl naughty. Not to mention he is a hottie with a capital H. With the Baker blue eyes, a ripped physique, several tats, and a "well groomed goatee", he is the ultimate bad boy. And a manwhore. His motto where women are concerned? Once and done. He leaves after he ( and she) get what they want, never stays the night and never cuddles.
Cynthia ( Cyn) Benton. Walking sex on a stick. Dark Haired, sassy, wears sexy clothes, and 4-5 inch spike heels. Smart, too, with a masters degree in psychology. She has issues, and only wants to have a fun time. No permanent relationships, just a fun romp in the sack, and some good memories to make.
When Cyn comes to Lakeside, and walks into the bar, John nearly trips over his tongue. The air between them practically sizzles from their first meeting. John wants her, and wants her bad. Oh, did I mention that Cyn is a cousin to Harley, John's sister-in-law? Yeah, isn't that a mood killer.
Harley knows that John and Cyn are perfect for one another. But they both have relationship issues, and they are both afraid to love, for one reason or another.
The book is gritty, amusing, and heartbreaking. What John and Cyn go through, to eventually find their HEA is an emotional journey. They both have to break through their barriers, and see what is in front of them. They need to get over the past, and look to how they can map out their future. There are some truly funny parts of dialogue in the book, and the author has a way with words ( bangalicious, anyone?) There are several scenes in the book, especially the last chapter, that are really moving. The sexual encounters are amusing, in a way. The author, in my opinion, is not as explicit as some I have read. But she is descriptive enough that you will be fanning yourself while reading. I would recommend this series in a heartbeat. The love and respect that the brothers show to each other is heartwarming, and the town of Lakeside is an interesting place to be. I have a feeling that we have not seen the end of Lakeside, or some of the characters that appeared in this book.

So hot
This one finished so of the other stories...someone gets married...someone's famous sister visits another's famous brother all amidst a love story between John and Cyn. Hot, sexy, scary stalker, lots of love and HEA. Very good read!
