BE PREPARED TO CRY 🥹

I read this in one sitting, coffee going cold beside me, and I didn’t even notice until the last page.

There’s something about “More Than You Know” that felt different from the beginning. Maybe it was Mike on that train, sketchbook in his lap, replaying every memory of someone who didn’t choose him. Maybe it was the way he cried alone in a café and still ordered the muffin. I don’t know. But something in the first few pages just got me.

And then there’s Anna. She didn’t save him. She didn’t try to…just showed up and let him be exactly where he was. I think that’s the most beautiful thing about this story, nobody fixes anybody. They just make each other feel less alone.

Nancy’s storyline was something I didn’t expect to connect with, but I did. It’s complicated and human and handled with a lot of care. I wanted to be angry at her but I couldn’t be. That’s good writing.

And Arthur…a man who comes back full of love, gets his heart broken and still shows up, still loving her.

This book felt like winter in the best way. Cold outside, warm inside. I needed this one without knowing I needed it.

This book is slow, and if you need a lot of plot you might feel it. But if you let it breathe, it gives you everything. If you’ve ever loved someone who wasn’t fully yours then this story might be for you. 💙

Review of Advance Copy received from author.

This is a lovely, heartfelt romance. A multi-POV clean romance, it explores the emotional consequences of a girl falling for another man while her boyfriend is away with work for an extended period.

I loved the focus on recovery and on finding “sunshine after a storm.” Mike was a very relatable MMC, and I was so pleased to follow his journey. I won’t spoil how it ends, but you’ll definitely have all the feels for him!

I have to confess that Nancy, the FMC, was harder for me to like. While the story explores unfaithfulness sensitively, I felt her motivations could have been developed more fully. It took longer than I would have liked to feel empathy for her.

You’ll enjoy this story if you like character-driven romances with themes of recovery, forgiveness and restoration. If you find unfaithfulness difficult in fiction, you may find this a more challenging read. The author handles it sensitively but also doesn’t shy away from showing the real cost of Nancy’s choices.

The use of a Spotify playlist and frequent music references is a playful touch. Some readers will love it, while others may find it pulls them out of the story.

Overall, an enjoyable debut, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the author writes next.

Thoughts:
If you're into:
✅Dual POVs
✅Hallmark Movies
✅Green Flag MMCs
Then I think this book is for you!

Characters:
Although I was pissed with some and the MMC is such a sweetheart the two characters I LOVE LOVE LOVED were the besties of both the FMC and MMC, so supportive, their ride or dies, absolutely will slap you in the face with the truth.
The characters weren't perfect and that's for sure, it makes them feel human.

Pacing:
It's extremely fast paced, I finished it in about an hour or so but mostly because it's more of a dialogue based book ✨

Ending:

I was happy for the MMC, he absolutely deserves the world and back, the FMC well uhm... Let's just say it gives hallmark vibes where the FMC has a very busy bf and she gets with a random guy she meets one day, except in this book she actually faces the consequences of her actions. It's realistic, it's painful, and itll definitely make you feel like rewatching romance movies again.

More than I meant to feel

I usually read contemporary romance at a distance, but this book refused to let my emotions sit on the sidelines.

More Than You Know follows four beautifully flawed characters with Mike and Nancy at the forefront. He is on a journey to rediscover himself after heartbreak, while she is left navigating the guilt of loving two men and hurting both.

This book felt like rooting for your best friend. And the author perfected writing every character in a way where they were so imperfectly human. All I wanted to do was get to know these characters more, empathise with them, and sometimes give them a kick in the butt.

If you want a story that leaves you thoughtful, a little heartbroken and smiling at the pages, this is definitely your next cosy read.

“More Than You Know” is a dual POV story following Nancy, a girl who cheats on her boyfriend, and Mike, the boy she cheated with. As the story progresses, Nancy tries to find a way to fix what she’s done and mend relationships while Mike tries to move on.

Can I just say—this is the most interesting dual POV story I’ve ever read, especially following the two lives of these people who are heartbroken to different reasons. Nino has so many amazing lines that I just couldn’t get out of my head after reading them, especially this one:

“You know what hurts more?”
“What?”
“That I love you still.”

This is such a sweet romance with deep themes, beautiful prose, and interesting characters. The idea of writing a love story about a girl and the boy she cheated with and their different stories after that point was so intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading once I started. This is a story that I know I’ll reflect on for years to come.

The way emotions are written feels so soft and clean. The very first paragraph of the book pulled me in immediately. I really want to know Mike, Nancy, Arthur, and Anna more deeply, and how life brought all these characters together. I was excited from the first line to the very last. Honestly, I don’t regret reading it at all.

Such a wonderful story to read! If you like a sweet soft dual pov romance with a taste of bitter heartbreak, then this one is for you.

Although, I usually tend to lean towards books with more angst and tormented heroes, I must say I really enjoyed how this one made my evenings feel softer, and yet still compelled me to want to know more with every page I read.✨

My favorite character is Mike, a young drawing artist who got his heart broken by Nancy, a classic musician. We get to follow him through his journey to a different city where he meets Anna, a sweet barista. That’s when he slowly starts to believe in love again and let go of the tormenting past. I love his soft, kind heart and the little thoughtful things he does for the people he cares about. The sweet and funny interactions with Anna kept me smiling all the way.

I also got to know more about Nancy and her story with longtime lover Arthur. While he’s away with work, she starts to develop feelings for her neighbor, Mike. Nancy is my least favorite character because she’s a bit indecisive when it comes to love, but I appreciate her wanting to own to her mistakes and come clean with Arthur. And boy, this guy is a green flag walking! Tall, handsome and very much in love.
Their story reminded me that mistakes can be mended if you’ve found the right person. 🙌

The book has a good flow to it, keeps you immersed into the lives of these four characters. Loved the winter descriptions, the old towns details, the funny conversations, how the author portrays heartbreak and the sadness that comes with it.

A beautifully emotional romance about love, heartbreak, and the complicated reality of falling for the right person at the wrong time. More Than You Know follows Mike and Nancy as their connection grows through quiet moments, music, art, coffee dates, and shared dreams — only for hidden truths to threaten everything they built together.
Told from both perspectives, the story explores longing, guilt, healing, and the weight of choices that can change lives forever. The writing feels soft and intimate, filled with cozy winter atmospheres, meaningful little details, and deeply vulnerable emotions that make the characters feel real and relatable.
If you enjoy emotional romance, bittersweet love stories, artistic characters, and books that focus heavily on feelings and atmosphere, this one is worth picking up.
