This is the second book I this series and I didn’t think it was possible to beat Rook but Kinsley has done it
Grim is man that thinks he has nothing to live for. He survived the Amy but he left him scarred in more ways than one. Sophia is an ICU nurse that sees the man he is.

This is fast paced with lots of action. The romance is slow burn as Grim tries to fight it the whole way. Sophia is having none of it and when she needs him the most Grim is there.

I adore this series and I can’t wait for the next book

Overall, this was a good read. There were a solid number of characters, so early on, it could take a little bit of time to fully grasp and understand who is who and what their role is. The author created a lovely sense of community/family amongst the characters, which was very enjoyable to read. It was nice to see the steps Sophia took to fit in and the gradual change in Grim as the story continued. I received an advance copy of this book at no charge. This is a voluntary review.

Thank you to Kinsley Hart for sending me the arc of Grim, I literally read it in one sitting and already so excited for Havocs story! But also the continuation with the Reapers, but also for the novella for Avery and Rook!!! I loved their little cameo’s in the book, and so glad we’ll get to see them once again and not a glimpse.

I really liked the pacing of this story, it didn’t feel too rushed. There was a great amount of action but also the fact it was interconnected with Rook and will be continuing into future books which allows us to see our favourite characters. Also helps with the length of the story because they’re only 200 and something pages so it allows it to be balanced rather than having too much story or too much action.

I loved the chemistry between Grim and Sophia and it was nice to see a different side to him. Don’t you just love it when big biker dudes, get all mushy for their girls 🥹🥹 I love how Sophia and all her family embraced him and vice versa with the blood saints. And when they said they were the missing puzzle pieces of each other, it was soo cute!!!

Grim is the second book in the series, and while I enjoyed the story and connected with the characters, I did find the writing a little harder to engage with at times.

The writing didn’t flow quite as well as I would have liked. There were moments where it felt overly wordy, with a fair amount of repetition, and unfortunately, this impacted my engagement with the story. That said, the characters and relationships kept me invested.

I really liked both of our MCs, Sophia and Grim.

Sophia is an ICU nurse who is independent, strong, capable, and incredibly responsible. She’s the family fixer—the person everyone automatically turns to whenever they need something, seemingly without considering what she might already have going on in her own life. I really liked seeing beneath that responsible exterior and getting to know the woman who is constantly putting everyone else first.

Grim is very much the typical army-veteran MC member. He’s serious, quiet, carries his PTSD with him, and keeps people at a distance. He doesn’t smile much and only really allows his brothers into his inner circle. Then he meets Sophia, and despite himself, he’s drawn to her. I enjoyed watching that relationship develop and seeing Sophia slowly get through the walls he has built around himself.

I also really liked the MC family dynamics, but Sophia’s Abuela was absolutely my favourite. 🥹 I loved the relationship she has with Sophia. She truly sees her granddaughter and recognises just how stretched thin Sophia is from constantly worrying about everyone else.

And I especially loved the way Abuela saw Grim. She looked past the cut, past the tattoos, and past the intimidating exterior. She saw the man underneath—the man who looks at her granddaughter like he would burn the whole world down for her.

Overall, while the writing style and repetition made this a little less engaging for me than I would have liked, I really enjoyed the characters and the emotional connections, particularly Sophia and Grim’s relationship and the family dynamics.

Grim definitely had more spice and darker elements than Rook, book one in the series. In my opinion, it’s still on the lower-spice side for an MC romance. I also wouldn’t necessarily classify it as a true dark romance, but there are darker elements and some situations that could be triggering for certain readers.

I’ll be honest—I’m not usually a fan of third-person POV, but I actually think it works for this series and makes sense for the story.

One of my favorite parts was seeing the way the rest of the club accepted her once Grim found her. I loved the encouragement they gave him to pursue her and build something outside of the club without making him feel like he was choosing between the two. That found-family aspect really stood out to me.

Overall, I enjoyed this one and I’m definitely looking forward to the next installment!

I absolutely loved the found family in this story. It was so nice to see the characters from book 1 form deeper bonds and to see Grim’s story come to life. There were a few times where I had to stop to remember individual characters’ backgrounds because there were so many to keep track of, but overall this was an amazing read.

Sofia and Maddox have such a sweet dynamic. Maddox is a hardcore, man-of-few-words kind of MMC, but when it comes to Sofia, he is an absolute cinnamon roll/marshmallow, and I found that contrast adorable. The author also does a great job writing trauma—it really pulls at the heartstrings and adds so much depth to the characters. I could not put this book down and ended up reading it in one sitting because I just had to know what happened next. I even shed a few tears along the way! I really enjoyed this one.

Wow, this story. This builds on from book 1 though it can be read as a stand alone, but the build up and a little if the back ground is helpful.
Grim and Sophia are awesome and the found family feel of this story, both through the MC and Sophia's family is a key part of the story.

I loved Grim and Sophia. This was an awesome MC read. He was such a great guy. Protecting her right from the start when he meets her while she’s working. She gets targeted but has no idea. And he knows, so he’s right there at every turn to make sure she stays safe. I loved the twists and turns, the way these two connected. I was pulled in right from the beginning and was invested until the end. This was intense and sweet, and I’m so glad I was able to read this.

Sophia and her Protector

The second in the Bloodline Saints MC lineup, this story is full of pain, action, MC justice and characters that combine to make a wonderful found family of brethren. There are themes of past troubled childhood, grief, forced proximity, found family, violence and physical injury, emotional distress, panic responses and trauma, but it culminates in a hard-fought HEA for the two main characters.

Sophia is a strong, confident ICU nurse that loves her loud family wholeheartedly. She gives of herself often and selflessly, always being the one to make a difference, but who takes care of her? Through the ICU she comes into contact with an informer for the Bloodline Saints MC and is unfortunately caught up in their warfare with the Reapers club. She is protected by the brother Grim and through all the ensuing madness, realises that she has lost her heart to him but struggles with letting him be there for her.

Grim/Maddox is the Sergeant-at-arms for the club and keeps everyone at a distance, to keep them and him safe. He’s emotionally damaged by his experience in the foster system and broken by what he saw in the military, so keeping himself apart from others is a priority. When he agrees to safeguard Sophia his walls come down and he is too scared of her presence in his life and of the changes his body feels for her and he tries to push her away. But the force of their chemistry is too strong and Grim feels that she is out of his league and he doesn’t deserve her and his conflicted view is always present in their interactions.

Through meeting her Abuela, violent exchanges, kidnapping, fights, searches, bombing of the clubhouse and a tragic occurrence, the story flows through with glimpses of MC vengeance and justice and the battle that Grim and Sophia wage to strengthen their relationship and come out on top. This was an intriguing and riveting tale and I can’t wait to read more of the stories featuring other brothers in the MC.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the hours of respite this reading has gifted me and thank the author for giving me the opportunity to enjoy the arc and provide my voluntary review.

Review:

This was my first time reading a Motorcycle Romance! It did take me a minute to get used to all the nicknames the crew uses. I really enjoyed the storyline and story progression.

Grim was such a softie and I absolutely adored him. He is not perfect, he has his flaws and trauma, but he loves hard and is a great protector.

Definitely buckle up for this ride and bring some tissues!

Although I enjoyed reading this book, there were a few things stopping me from giving this a higher rating.

Firstly, the author repeated a lot of the same sentences/phrases throughout the same chapter. This was throughout the book and was bothersome. I kept thinking I had accidentally reread the same paragraph even though I read the same thing a couple pages earlier in the chapter.

My biggest issue is the ARC/book was advertised as a “high-heat tension” romance. However, there was NO tension and very little heat. Sure there were 1-2 “spicy” scenes. But hardly steam anywhere else. Zero sexual tension or building anticipation between the characters. Yes, you can feel the LOVE between the characters, but not the attraction and desire. The wanting, needing and yearning was sorely missing from this book.

I was an ARC reader for this one, and overall I really enjoyed it.

Grim is the next standalone installment in the same MC world as Rook, and I liked getting to dive back into this group and see another relationship develop within it.

I really enjoyed Grim and Sophia together. Their relationship felt easy to root for, and I liked watching Sophia slowly become part of the group instead of feeling like she was just dropped into the story as a love interest. She blended into the dynamics really well, and I enjoyed seeing those relationships build around her too.

This was also just a really quick, easy read. The plot moved along nicely, the characters were enjoyable, and it had enough action and emotional moments to keep me interested without feeling overly complicated.

The only thing that kept this from being a five-star read for me was something I also noticed in Rook: the dialogue.

A lot of the conversations between characters are extremely short and simple, sometimes only a few words at a time. Meanwhile, the descriptive writing is much more detailed and developed. For me, those two styles don’t always match, and it can make it harder to fully connect with the characters because I want a little more depth in what they’re actually saying to each other.

That being said, I still really liked the story, the plot, and the characters. I think this series is fun, easy to binge, and I definitely enjoy the MC world that has been created.

A solid 4 stars for me, and I’m absolutely interested in continuing with the next standalone in the series.

Grim by Kinsley Hart had me on an emotional revolving door from beginning to end. 🖤 I had ALL the feels with this one!
The chemistry between Sophia and Grim was absolutely unstoppable. Their relationship was intense, complicated, emotional, and completely addictive. What I loved most was how they healed each other in completely different ways. They both carried their own pain and struggles, somehow found a way to become what the other needed. Their journey was messy, emotional, and beautiful to watch unfold.
This book also touches on a lot of intense and difficult topics, and they added so much depth to the story and the characters. There were moments that broke my heart, made me angry, had me swooning, and had me staring at the page wondering what the hell I just read. 😭🖤
And the MC brotherhood? Absolutely remarkable. I loved the relationships between all of them—the loyalty, protectiveness, banter, and genuine love they have for one another. They truly felt like a family, and I’m already attached to them.
And now… Havoc. 👀🔥
After getting to know him in Grim, I cannot wait to dive into his story. I have a feeling he is going to put me through another emotional roller coaster, and honestly, I’m here for it!
Kinsley Hart gave me darkness, emotion, found family, unstoppable chemistry, and characters I won't be forgetting anytime soon.

Grim absolutely put me through the emotional wringer—and I loved every second of it.

This is the second book in the Bloodlines MC series, and it did not disappoint. Kinsley has a great way of grasping the MC universe and how fiercely the men protect the women in the world. I didn't think it was possible to love anyone more than Rook and Avery, but I think its safe to say that Grim and Sophia now take that top spot!

I loved how she portrayed Grim, he was still suffering from PTSD from his years in the army, the things he'd seen and done. She really grasped how easy it is to go from the military to the club life, and even though vastly different lifestyle choices, they still maintain similar disciplines and brotherhood. Sophia is an ICU nurse who lives for the noise and the bustle of her work and family, until one day she doesn't have that.

Through it all, Sophia and Grim end up saving each other, they build each other back up, they help each other work through their trauma and come out stronger for it.

Grim by Kinsley Hart pulled me in from the very beginning and kept me turning the pages. The MMC Grim and FMC Sophia had incredible chemistry, and I loved watching their relationship develop alongside all the danger and chaos surrounding them. Grim is the kind of dark, protective, loyal hero that makes MC romance so addictive, while Sophia brings strength and heart to the story. The suspense, action, twists, and emotional moments kept the story moving, and the MC brotherhood added another layer that I really enjoyed. There are plenty of intense moments, but the romance never gets lost in all the action. Kinsley Hart did a great job creating characters that are easy to become invested in. Grim and Sophia's story had me hooked, and by the end I was definitely ready for more from the Bloodlines Saints. Overall, Grim is a great addition to the series for anyone who enjoys steamy MC romance.

Grim, the second book in the Bloodlines Saints MC, is even better than the first one 🏍️👩🏻‍⚕️

Grim and Sophia met in a chaotic hospital situation and felt an immediate connection. Their scenes together were like a pause in their hectic life and a breath of fresh air. Even if they fell fast, we still got to see them get closer. The MMC is full of trauma which gives the book a darker feel. I loved getting to know them and got really attached to them!
The second part of the story is where the action is. The MC war come back in full blast. Be sure to check your triggers before heading into this one. I found Sophia's confinement scenes to be very well done: it made me uncomfortable and crying my eyes out for her. I was rooting for her and Grim to jump back into the relationship like before, but felt the space was more necessary.

I would love to read future books in this series (even more if it's Havoc)!

Kinsley Hart did not disappoint with the second book in her Bloodline Saints series. “Grim” is filled with pain, understanding, and love. Mix in a motorcycle club, and you have the perfect romance.
Sophia and Grim (Maddox) seem at first like they could not be more different as people, but as the story progresses, they are more alike than you would think. The love story is a slow burn, with both characters being aware of each other's boundaries. Almost, painstakingly so. I wanted to scream at them just to let themselves feel the love; when they finally did, it was so beautiful.
This is definitely an MC series, but that theme does not overshadow the storytelling. The author is building the MC family while letting you get to know each character that they bring in. This book was incredible, and once again, I cannot wait for the next one!
I am leaving this honest review voluntarily after receiving an advance copy.

Grim, I have so much to say and none of it is coming out coherently. Why must you do this to me?? Why??? Sophia when you entered the scene, I thought you would help? You are a nurse!?!? But Noooo, you two are so freaking seamless with each other! I just want to word-barf all the spoilers for your story! Maybe grandma will help? No, all she is doing is laughing at me. Arrgh Rook? Switchblade? Ghost? Nope... all closed mouth because of "club business"? What can I say to encourage you to read and enjoy this story? It will grab you from the first page and still not let you go with the last. There is lightness to balance the heaviness? Joy to balance the sorrow? Building intrigue as there should be with a MC romance? Hot, steamy scenes? Club brothers who have "advice" and are just "in your business"? Big Check Marks for them all! Now, I need to reread Grim in case I missed anything!

I absolutely loved this book! Grim and Sophia had me hooked from the very first chapter. The storyline flowed so well, and every chapter left me wanting more. It was one of those books where I kept saying, "Just one more chapter," and before I knew it, I couldn't put it down.

The chemistry between Grim and Sophia was fantastic, and I really enjoyed watching their story unfold. The pacing was great, with plenty of moments that kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next.

If you're a fan of MC romance with a captivating storyline, engaging characters, and a book that keeps you hooked until the very end, I definitely recommend giving this one a read! I can not wait for the next book in this series!

I felt like I waited forever for this book. The first one was absolutely phenomenal. This one was just as amazing. This is book two in the bloodline Saints MC series. I advise you read book 1 first.
Once I read the beginning of the blurb I was hooked. "He survived war. He survived hell. But he wasn’t ready for her." Boy was that so true.
To sun the book up the blurb said it best, "When the Reapers set their sights on her, Grim becomes the only thing standing between her and a darkness she can’t outrun."
Grim and Sophia was amazing. I loved there story.
So far we have met Rook and Avery, then Grim and Sophia I cannot wait to see what MC we meet next because so far there absolutely amazing.

Wow this next instalment of the Bloodlines Saints had me gripping my e-reader from the first chapter!
The story of Grim (Maddox) and Sophia is fast and heated and full of all the emotions.
There is a lot of violence in this story so please read the triggers but honestly, it genuinely sets the scene to keep the adrenaline going. You just want to keep reading to see where the story goes next.
I cried real tears in this one.
Yes there is a happy ending but there's a lot of grief & healing to work through to get there. Well worth the read.
Thank you Kinsley, this story really helped clear my reading block.

This series keeps getting better. This is just my second book by Kinsley and I loved it!! Sophia has always looked out for everyone but no one looks out for her until Grim. Grim just wants to be chosen by someone and that person is Sophia. They each fill a hole in each other's soul.

Meet Maddox aka Grim and Sophia. He’s an ex soldier and part of an MC. She’s a nurse- one of the best. A chance meet-up at the ER makes their world collide. They are both protectors. Both holding themselves apart. When she needs protection, he is there. These two are raw and real and show how people can learn to depend on others. I love the underlying MC chaos and heart. Found family and belonging and real love…just perfect. Just a great read. Spice is 🌶️ and stars are 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I lived the book it was great in length I love to read also a big plus for me is that I didn’t lose interest in the book within the first few chapters. I got through more than half of the book before I realized that I love that it feels like this book pulls you back in when the reader is starting to lose interest. I love that it’s not a short novel that it’s long but now I will read the first book in the series
