A Perfect Example Of Why I Love Science Fiction!
Frequency 2, taking place 4 years after the HERMES mission, when 4 brave astronauts sacrificed themselves to save an alien being after an anomalous signal is detected. Ethan Calloway and Dr. Alexanderia Lennox, and others are dispatched to Patagonia, while, at the same time, a new mission to Europa arrives and begins to study the incomprehensible ship, and its even more incomprehensible surviving occupant. The book is thoughtful and fulfilling, a perfect coda for the duology. Books like this are why I love science fiction, particularly if the science is mostly correct, which ads believability to concepts that are WAY outside of the box! This series will resonate with me for many years, the highest compliment I can give! Overall, 5/5 stars, though it deserves more! Highly recommended for fans of hard science fiction and readers of any age with curiosity about the nature of existence and those interested in the best 'First Contact' written to date!

Amazing book and wonderful story, as good as the first. FINALLY science-fiction without the end of the world, wars or humans at their worse! Inspiring, hopeful and very well written. Again, i loved the characters, the parallel stories, the scientific knowledge and the action pace. These are authors i will keep reading for sure.

Through a negotiation phase as complex as the technology behind how computers speak to each other, a gentleness and patience are experienced wider and wider among the people of Earth, like the waves of a lake arriving on distant shores.
Plenty of action, thrills, and near disasters are packed into Frequency 2 for all of you adrenaline junkies. You'll get to explore Argentina and the rough Patagonia wilderness. Imagine being on one of Jupiter's ice moons, excavating an alien ship. Both authors excel at keeping the reader on their metaphorical toes.
Ultimately, Frequency 2 is a story about living without limitations. When Love is the guiding force, eyes can see beyond physical boundaries, and even the constraints of Time slip away. Everything experienced through another's senses changes who you are fundamentally.
As the authors say, "That every moment was complete. That nothing was lost because it was never truly separate. Where there was nothing, nothing could be missing. The raindrop returned to the sea, but it was never truly separate from it. “Where I am, there I am.”

FINALLY after a while- a really solid SiFi story with positive intent
The story had good pace, was told well and embraced much what is actually happening with entanglement, quantum reality ( what does that mean?) and gravity all of which converged-collasped quietly and concluded a beautiful ending in my humble opinion. It is a good summation of potential advancement for humankind. And an excellent point that no follow-up story was needed for this tale.

Take my word for it. A must read!
I did not anticipate the magnitude of how the Frequency books would affect me. The depth of the science that is woven in the pages is intellectually challenging yet attainable. The characters that are integral to the story lines capture your imagination and encourage you to turn the pages to see how they progress. In the conclusion the diverse story lines collide in amazing synchronicity and give the reader much to be thankful for and a better understanding of how only the now is who we truly are. A path worth taking.

my 'religion'
I've read my share of sci-fi, but have never read a book series that so captures what I like to imagine the universe, our afterlife, is. Much better 'religious' belief in human kind in this vast, wild, mysterious universe. This perspective comforts me when thinking about mortality more than any of the countless religions in the world ever could.

Frequency 2 delivers beautifully!
I've so enjoyed this book, yet struggle to find the words to describe how much it meant to me. I hope for a humanity that evolves beyond war and greed to seek courage, connection, and to realize we have never been alone. We are merely part of a Universe vast and yet interconnected through curiosity, courage, and the miracle of love.

good follow-up
I gave the first book in the series 5 stars. However, this book I only gave four. I found the unnecessary violence, including hangings, stabbing, multiple shootings, etc., inappropriate for a “feel good “scientific book.”

Another winner!!! Loved it! Had a really hard time putting it down to get a few hours of sleep at night. I have always believed that we are not alone in the universe. This beautifully written book makes me believe it even more. Thank you!

What a wonderful ending, full of hope
Frequency 2 is a wonderful ending to another Douglas Richards story. It is a bit of a let down due to the quick resolution of the struggle, but well worth the time.

It has been a long while since I have enjoyed a SF duology as much as this one. If you like a healthy dose of science reference with your fiction, you really should read these. Amped and Wired are really good as well, but not necessary to enjoy Frequency. Great job Mr. Richards!

Fascinating and exciting
Realistic, plausible, hard science fiction that starts a little slow then WHAM! Danger, surprise, excitement, mysyery in every chapter. It reminds me of the work of Arthur C Clarke. I will definitely read more by these authors.
