Billionaire Jacob Whitmore's quest for revenge was so close to completion--until he came face to face with the fallout from his choices. Leila has every reason to abandon ship but somehow, she still looks at him like she sees a love worth saving. A man worth fighting for. He longs to be the man reflected in her eyes but his thirst for vengeance threatens to cost him the love of his life... His Desire is part two of the Billionaire Dom Diaries. The Billionaire Dom Diaries is the sequel to the Billionaire's Wife series.
Ava Claire is a sucker for Alpha males and happily ever afters. When not putting pen to paper or glued to her Kindle, Ava likes road tripping, karaoke, and vintage fashion.
So here we are. The moment we have been waiting for. I truly knew in my heart Jacob would never kill his brother. Leila would never forgive him. And he loves her. So, I'm glad he made the right choice. I'm glad the two seem to be working at things and that Leila finally told him about what happened and that without Cole, she may not be alive. The story was short and sweet and of course, HOT. Because Jacob Whitmore IS HOT! sigh. I love that man. And at the end was hot and then Cole walks in and...awkward...hahaha. Poor guy. And then Cole asks the ultimate favor from Jacob. To help the woman who nearly killed his wife. AND BOOM! another cliffy. Love it. Love this series. What will Jacob do? will he help Cole or will he bring Brittany to her knees? Cannot wait for the next installment. Must read series :-)
Jacob is out for revenge and will do anything to right the wrongs done against his wife Leila. This book really projected the pure hatred that Jacob had towards his brother Cole. It was really quite scary how far he was prepared to go.
But if anyone can talk Jacob off the ledge, it is Leila. Through their love, Cole was allowed to live another day.
This book ends on a cliffy as Cole asks Jacob for a favour. A favour to help save the woman who tried to kill the love of his life. What will Jacob do?

This is book 'His Need (The Billionaire Dom Diaries)' is part 2 of a 4 part series. This series is the sequel to the 4 part 'The Billionaire's Wife' which was a sequel to the 'His Submissive series', so please read them first.
This book was beautifully written from Jacob's perspective, and continues from where we left off in part 1. This installment reminds us of the deep love and devotion that Jacob and Leila have for each other. It's a story of two broken people fighting for the future they dream of together.
At the end of book 1 Jacob remembered that since Leila was more important than anything/anyone else he would have to trust and rely on her as much as she does in/on him. We see glimpses of redemption, forgiveness and undying love all wrapped together.

I am so glad that the author had Lay handle the situation the way she did. I am so happy that Jacob opened up and let her see every piece of him, how raw he was. She tells him "You are the man I see, Jacob. Beautifully flawed, stubborn...but you love fiercely. You're a good man, not a villain. Not hopeless. You're human." Then she goes on to say "That wall isn't as impenetrable as you think. Because I see you. And I love you" It could not have gone better and I left out a huge breath I was holding because I was scared of her leaving him. Then I start to feel bad for Cole because he felt such guilt that it was killing him but at the same time he did get himself into this mess. I love how feisty Leila is in this book, I like how she tells them both what trouble their lies have caused and that she wants it to end. I was glad that she finally shared what happened during the time she was kidnapped and how she tried to just forget it and that she was too nervous to tell him. I was shocked but happy when Jacob told Cole thank you when he found out he actually tried to help Leila. Then Jacob and Leila are back at their hotel and she wants him, and wants him to take her, I love how she is actually the one in control and how she coaxes him to give in and then we see the dominant Jacob we all have fallen in love with. I was so happy when Jacob shared with her his bad dream and she told him "I know you're human and you're flawed, just like the rest of us. And it's okay to be broken. I'm broken. But together, we can be whole." Loved that quote. I will say the ending is just wow, I cannot believe Cole is asking him for a certain favor, he has a death wish lol We will see what happens in the next book.
This series of "books" picks up where The Billionaire's Wife left off. Leila is safe at home with Jacob after being kidnapped by Cole (Jacob's brother) & his crazy sister Brittney. Leila won't talk about her ordeal to Jacob & every time he asks if she's okay she says she's fine. He is frustrated because he knows she's hurting & he just wants to help her heal. The rage inside him is growing & he is trying to track down Cole so he can get revenge on him. Jacob takes Leila to Ireland telling her it's business but really he has tracked down Cole. Leila knows exactly where Cole is & when Jacob leaves her at their hotel she follows him. She doesn't expect to walk into Cole's house in & find him tied to a chair with Jacob trying to behead him. Thankfully Leila stopped him before he went to far & did something they couldn't undo. Leila finally breaks down & tells Jacob everything that happened to her & how Cole helped her. Jacob admits he didn't know how to handle not being in control & how lost he felt when she was taken from him. The day they are leaving Ireland Cole comes to their hotel & begs Jacob for help. Someone has kidnapped Brittney from her hotel room in Paris at gun point leaving her boyfriend behind. When they get to Paris they find out a very dangerous criminal who is a well known human sex trafficker has Brittney working in one of his Brothels. Jacob is horrified when he sees the condition Brittney is in when they find her & even more horrified when he finds out who paid for her to be kidnapped.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
In this book we find out what Leila really thinks after she has walked in on Jacob and Cole. Jacob finally gets to hear what really happened to Leila in that motel room and they think this is something that they might be finally able to work through but things are never that simple with this couple there is always more to come.
This is another piece to the story. I don't want to say to much because it is a short story I feel like I will give to much away and as a reader you really want to experience all of it for yourself. You need to read them all in order to understand what is happening to these characters. It can not be read as a stand alone in other words. This is another great part to this story. I would recommend it. It is short though.

(I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.) Though this installment of The Billionaire Dom Diaries was really good, I found it difficult to read. I may be a wimp or something, because the suspense about killed me a few times. I normally don't have trouble reading suspenseful books, but I found myself truly concerned for Leila and Jacob's relationship. Be prepared, folks; this one's a bit of a stressful read. Part of my brain told me I shouldn't worry. Ava Claire wouldn't break up the two main characters. Then again, she always seems to know the hearts of her characters; and this time, their hearts truly were a muddled mess.
I'll probably always love Ava Claire's writing. This one was a bit more stressful than I usually like to read, but it was still great, all the same. I look forward to the next installment.
This series of books will let us see the life of Jacob and Leila through his eyes. In part one you can feel how deep his love for Leila is and what his is willing to do to help her get help with her recent kidnapping. He is furious with himself for not being there to protect her when she needed him the most and he seeks revenge on Cole and his sister now!!! Leila is trying hard to put the kidnapping event behind her, so she ask Jacob to take her on a trip. Jacob suggest Ireland because he can take her on the trip she wants and he knows that is where Cole and his sister have been hiding out. While in Ireland, Jacob starts to see a little more of Leila's walls breaking down until she finds him with Cole. Cole is tied to a chair and blood is everywhere. Jacob has a knife and a gun and plans on killing Cole & his sister. How will that effect Leila now?
Sitting on the edge of my seat! WOW Ava Claire does a great job of bringing us great suspenseful moments throughout her story. I was so happy that Jacob is finally learning to trust in Leila. This is his breakthrough time. Jacob thinks that all is going to go the hell but Leila has some surprises for him. He thinks that she will be like every other woman; Jacob soon sees that Leila is NOT every woman... Leila finds her voice and finally has that moment when she reveals to Jacob what happened during the kidnapping. Can Jacob find resolution with his brother Cole? Can Jacob release that hate, anger and killer? Leila and Jacob finish out the rest of their trip wrapped up in love or at least try too. I could not believe the cliffhanger that was dangled at the end.
Loved it of course! I have never been disappointed when reading a Jacob and Leila story. These two are one of my favorite book couples and they just keep getting better and better. Ava has completed surprised me yet again with the cliffhanger in book 2. Just when we start to fall in love with Jacob all over again as he makes amends with Leila for her forgiveness of deception, his resolve is tested yet again. How much more can this couple take? They have been through some very trying times, yet they remain strong and together. I can't wait to read the next installment in the series. If you're looking for a new serial to read, Don't miss out on Jacob and Leila Whitmore's story. It's fantastic and you should definitely start from the beginning with Ava Claire's His Submissive series!!!
************I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review****************
In this second installment you see true rage at its purest form. Under the guise of a romantic getaway with his fragile wife Jacob takes Leila out of the country so they can heal after her horrible ordeal. While wearing the outer appearance of a doting husband he is fighting with an inner rage that's is clawing him to get out. Lay sees he is hurting but is unable to get over her trauma to get thru to Jacob. Jacob will do anything it protect what is his & is even willing to do the unthinkable. Will Jacob be able to calm his inner demons or will he do something he will regret? This series is the best in so stoked to be reading about Whitmore's. I love Jacob & Lay!!!
Hmm...well this one was more of a tie between, not a lot of action really...although Leila does finally tell Jacob hat happened to her while she was kidnapped. I think she should have told him sooner...she says he needs to talk to someone but she needs it too (which granted she has been seeing a therapist) but I really think she needed to tell Jacob.
The ending....SERIOUSLY???? Cole is asking a little bit much, and granted I think it would be good for Jacob in the long run to help....I also think Brittany needs to be locked in a psych ward! I can't wait to see how things pan out in the next part.
This book was received early for an honest review.
Ava's writing gets better each volume, each page... One minute your fighting your fears, than tears, smiles of joy and freedom, giggling and blushing and that's just in the first ten pages ;)
I absolutely recommend reading this series. It truly makes you see Jacob in a whole new light. What I loved the most about this was learning his first feelings - if you've read this you know what I mean. If you haven't while you have your curious George suit on, don't you?!?
Please take a few hours to yourself to indulge in another lust worthy, mystery seeking and fulfilling volume!!!
I received an ARC of His Desire for my honest review. I read the book a couple of days ago and had to really think about the story before I wrote this review. I have loved every book of Ava Claire that I have read. I have also enjoyed Leila and Jacob story throughout the series. But I can honestly say this story has been the worst. For some reason, I could not be kept captivated and I would lose my place right and left and would have to reread passages because it didn't make sense. I hope the rest of the series in Jacob's point of view is better. This one felt rushed and thrown together.
OMG Ava where are you taking us with this cliffhanger? After everything Jacob and Leila have been through you leave us wondering about this. Is Jacob's love for Leila going to be enough to get him to help? Does Jacob care enough for Cole to help him? If you though book 1 left you wanting for more what till you read book 2. I absolutely love the characters of Jacob and Leila and I'm starting to like Cole too. He has been dealt a crappy hand and I'm hoping him and Jacob can at least be civil to one another. If not for themselves but for Leila.
Wow just wow! Talk about suspense! Such a great continuation from book 1. You must read that prior to reading this book. Ava has done an outstanding job. This series keeps getting better and better! We are getting to see into Jacob's mind through his thoughts and some telling flashbacks. I couldn't put it down and read it straight through. If you are a fan of Jacob and Leila you have to read this series! Bring on book 3! I was gifted a copy of this book for the express purpose of an honest review. The opinions and rating are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.
Oh Jacob, we finally get under the surface and Jacob admits to some hard truths. I love the strength that Leila shows as they face difficult decisions, especially involving Jacob's morality. The bond that they share only gets stronger during these challenges. It even seems Cole may find a way to be a part of their lives after all the ups and downs. This is an amazing couple and I love and appreciate that we are right in the thick of their marriage with all the good, bad and ugly so that we truly experience their journey.
"Secrets are poison" is what Leila said. She'd never told Jacob what happened when she was kidnapped. She was telling him now. If she had told him before, maybe he would never have gone after Cole. Now that everything is out in the open and there are no more lies, in walks Cole while they're in a compromising position. Jacob is spitting mad and...PLOT TWIST!
Another fabulous addition to The Billionaire Dom Diaries. I love watching Leila blossom into a stronger woman. I can't wait for Part three of this amazing series.

I just love Leila and Jacob. This story continues Leila and Jacobs journey and is hot and emotional. I was hoping the story would go in the direction that it did but it left you wondering at the end now what. I can't wait to find out more about Cole, Brittany, Leila and Jacob. Great job agian Ava Claire. Must read!!!
Jacob finally opens up and admits to being human and Leila nd him move on together. Together for better or for worse and to me, attempted murder is pretty bad. Lots of emotion in this book, lots of feeling and lots of loving!
Only to be interrupted....by Cole...who insists that the person who hurt Leila needs help....
Can't help but wonder if karma bit Brittany hard if she's in trouble.
Wow, ok, did not disappoint, suspense, drama, anger, revenge, then comes out Leila finally revealing some events of her kidnapping, wow, great story, of course, cliff hanger at the end, get ready for??? Must read, ready for book 3
Thank you Ava! I love this series because you can't help but fall in love with Jacob over and over again. His openness and love for Leila is perfect in this book. Great story.
I have read all of Ava's books. This is an awesome series. I'm in love with the style of her writing Ava keeps several subjects going at a time. And the cliffhangers are well placed. Waiting for the third book!
