I loved it. The novel is heartwarming and gives a look about the female empowerment in the 1960s . It explores the female friendship. I also liked the fact that it is not a total male hater and found that some husbands were supportive. I fell in love with all the Bettys.

Loved this book! So much history. I appreciate the mom's and grandmas who lived through these times.
