2 stars. Wtf was this? It felt like a bunch of different books smashed into one and none of them were good.

the book doesn’t really have any buildup to Song and Dao’s relationship, the conflicts aren’t well executed, and the characters themselves aren’t very interesting. it’s a short and boring read. a nothingburger if you will.
