The cover is that sexy chest, but I miss the grizzly being included.

Okay this is the 2nd book in this serial novella series. This book is around 40ish pages long. This is for adults only because there are some steamy scenes here meant for adults. For those who are not sure what a serial series is, it is a book that is published in parts or episodes like a TV series, so all the parts are one book together. It cuts down the wait time between books since it is a part at a time. Some people love serials and some don’t. I do not mind one way or the other…though sometimes waiting for the next part is torture due to where a part ended. This serial is not complete at this time, and I’m not sure how many parts it will have.

Shifter books are my favorite kind of read :) I really enjoyed reading this part as much as part 1, but I was questioning how Cassidy reacted a few times. I really like Abe, and I’m not sure what I think about Jason yet. That being said, the book went in a direction that I completely didn’t see coming, so I was thrown for a loop and I’m not sure what I think yet. I will refrain from divulging my thoughts until I have read the next part whenever it comes out to see if I know what I’m feeling then :)

I really like Emerald’s writing style. It is so easy to be pulled into the world she is creating, and it makes me wonder how much of herself she is writing into these stories because she understands bullying and cruel comments whether through who own experiences or those of friends or family members. This helps make her characters more believable and real to me :)

I recommend this serial to shifter readers who don’t mind the format being a serial. Keep in mind though it is not completely published yet, so waiting is part of the game :) I wonder when part 3 comes out?

I was so happy to see this 2 book in this series come out. If you have not read the 1st book, please take a moment and go buy the 1st book before reading this one. You will not be disappointed. The author is truly amazing. It is funny how much I had forgotten from the 1st book, until I started reading the second book. How could of forgot why Cassidy was arrested..LOL So funny, it all came back as I started reading.

Cassidy is an amazing woman. She is not only a beautiful plus woman but she is confident, strong headed, smart, and passionate. She speaks her mind and will not let anyone bully her. I believe she is the type of person that will stand up for the ones she loves very quickly. I have to say it is funny how Cassidy is a writer who writes about shifters. Imagine to her surprise when she finds out they do excised.

Abe, I so love Abe he is my favorite amongst the bear shifters. He has been thru so much. It only seems fair in my eyes that he find true love and happiness. I would love to see Cassidy and Abe together for life with a bunch of bear babies running around..LOL Bears a very protective and can be quite jealous.

Cassidy finds she feels very sexy and attractive when she finds these hot bear shifters attracted to her. Though she finds herself sexually attractive to other men I think her heart truly belongs to Abe. I think Abe is more than just a sexual attraction.

I think the author has found a knack for writing shifter books. I am so glad I have gotten the opportunity to read this series. I seem to never get enough shifter books. I am so looking forward to book 3.

Figuring things out
Abe has been trying to take it slow and Cassidy thinks it’s a sign he’s not interested. Yet one night after Cassidy’s therapy session she goes to Biddy’s bar. And find Office “Jason” Rotan and has a bit of flirting going on. Then Abe and some others show up and well Abe’s jealous. Take Cassidy out back and tell her he’s divorce, likes her and is a shifter. Cassidy thinks it’s a big joke with Jason in on it and leaves. And a bunch more happens after all that. Well written and very entertaining to read.

this is a SHORT story BOOK TWO ! if y oh haven't read o be go read it first or you will be lost. Book two we get to Abe and Cass . I love how Emerald Wright has these two fall in lust and live the good old fashion way..... without burning up the sheets BEFORE getting to know each other. I man yes they have some hot sexy almost all the way sex but.....it looks l I me so n done has a fantasy th a t will come about in book 3. which SADLY is not out yet. great reads. just remember short story u as that go together.....

The erotic content was very light, but if the teaser is anything to go by, I have a feeling it's about to heat up.

Had to get part 1 to follow the story and from the very beginning I loved it.

The story of Cass and Abe is great. Read part 2 when I got it as an ARC and loved it as well, now just waiting for Book 3 :)

I eagerly dug into Part 2 of this series, as I wanted to see how Cass and Abe would finally hook up. Of course Cass was immediately taken by surprise to learn that the "shifters" she often wrote of was actually a reality when Abe revealed his true nature. Cass actually accepted it well. But then the end of this part left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Cass was still texting and flirting with the officer she met after her assault, who has also become a buddy of Abe's. Jason is also a bear shifter, and Cass clearly puts it out there to Abe that she's attracted to him as well. Although Abe accepts this information graciously - given the nature of shifters, alphas, betas, etc... it still bothered me a lot. I found Cass to be behaving in a shady, dishonest way. Because of how it's left, I really would rate this a 3.5 stars. I have a feeling the ickiness I feel is just going to get worse as I continue.

This is part two in the series. The book isn't long. yet the characters have depth. Cassidy is a romance write. She writes shifter stories. Cassidy is strong, smart and able to take care of herself. Abe knows that Cassidy is his mate but he wants to take it slow. After all he has been through he doesn't want to rush things. Then Cassidy runs into Jason in a bar and he realizes he might need to move faster. Jason wants Cassidy, he feels a pull towards her.

What twists and turns in such a short book. I don't want to say to much and give it all away. Some sexy sex scenes but nothing over the top. I am looking forward to the next part to see where this story line is going.

Can’t wait for the next book!
This story continues where “part one” left off. Abe is the perfect gentleman after he gets her home and leaves Cassidy to think while he finishes his edits. He is the quintessential gentleman and acts and speaks with everything that Cass likes. The story is a real dream come true. They both are realizing that the other is just what they were looking for. But you know it’s always that easy when a plus one is added. Find out what happens!

The dance of attraction between Cass & Abe is a slow dance as they get to know each other. The ebb and flow of early attraction then love is appealing on so many levels. As they are drawn to each other they learn the layers that make up the other person and what draws them in. This second part gives a little more about this couple and where they are at. It's compelling storyline draws you in.

Loving these parts of Grizzly Shifter !! Part 2 sees Cass and Abe getting closer together, but Officer Jason Rotana is also in the picture, and Cass is definitely wanting to see where life is taking her and Abe, but wanting Jason around too. Read it to see what Abe figures out about Cass, and what it means for him !! 4☆'s for Emerald Wright for making this 5 part series interesting enough to read, part by part. Abe and Cassidy become closer in their relationship. He admits to her that he is a bear shifter and she doesn't believe him. She thinks that he is playing a joke on her because she writes shifter romances. After a bit, she believes him. He tells her that he has feelings for her and would like to have a more intimate relationship. They began to date and get to know each other. - I was given an arc for an honest review.

I am loving this series! Cassidy has feelings for Abe but also is attracted to the officer that arrested her, what will she do? When Abe finally tells Cassidy that he is a bear shifter and so does Officer Rochon her life is turned upside down. With this realization Gabe comes to an understanding and will do anything to keep Cassidy.

Loved this audio listen just as much as I did part 1. Again the author intrigued me with the story line while the narrator did a great job of bringing the story to life. I can't wait to listen to the next part of story. Right now I'm torn between reading the kindle version of part 3 or waiting for the audio to come out

Funny, wrenching, and romantic. Dealing with the consequences of having punched out an insulting bully in public, she now is confronted by the men she is interested in who announce to her that they are shifters. Bears, to be exact. See what else happens in this adult romance.
Audrey Lusk is great at demonstrating each character and the emotions of each.

Cassidy and Abe have a bump in the road as they are trying to get closer. Combine a sexy officer that has his sights on Cassidy and this installment had a very interesting twist at the end.

Just as with part 1, I loved this 2nd instalment of Cass and Abe's story. Revelations and the acceptance of their attraction is happening and it looks promising for their future. Onto part 3 because I have to know what happens next.

An author who is writing a series about an author, amused me in a good way. I am a plus sized woman who speaks her mind, who has been teased about her weight, but I'm still confident...all this helps me to relate to Cassidy. Cassidy's new editor, Abe, is a bear shifter. He's a hottie!
