EEEP! Calvin is back and he is ready to win back the love of his life. He will do anything to prove to her he is a changed man.
And Sofie is going to make him pay for hurting her all those years ago.
In her heart she still loves him and wants him back. She simply cannot trust him though. So she tells him if he can go one month without pleasuring himself or having sex with anyone, including herself. She and him will be again.
Weeks start passing and the two are getting close and very frustrated. Then Wade steps in and drops a HUGE bomb.
Will the two be able to work it out? is Wade just playing some game? you will have to read to find out.
Cannot wait for part 4! love this amazing and hot series :-) great, short and hot read. You will not want to miss part 3 and Calvin :-)

These are the first books from this author I have read and I must admit I waited until I read all 4 ‘Black’ books before leaving my review, so all my reviews are the same, and can say I really enjoyed them 😊 ok there were bits when you were 😳 but on the whole I really liked the, and practically read straight through! Will definitely be reading more from this author 😊

DOUBLE DOWN ON BLACK !!!
WOWZA! I love it! This is my first time reading Harper's work and it certainly won't be my last. Harper seems to have that certain something - you know, that exceptional ability some authors seem to have been blessed with by the grantor of muses - they can somehow manage to reach right into your thoughts and grab your attention completely in the first few lines of the book. Yep, Harper has that in spades. And she has demonstrated her exceptional talent yet again brilliantly in the third installment of her amazing new Black Series. The story is exciting, thrilling, entertaining, addictive, compelling, riveting, enticing, arousing, sensual and steamy. The dialog is smart, intelligent, witty, well written and flows effortlessly. The characters are engaging, fascinating, captivating and sexy as sin. Calvin Black is handsome, charming, intelligent and wealthy. He owns the exclusive Club Addictions in New York City and he's King in his little corner of the world. Yep, he's a smooth operator and he has it all, anything and anyone he desires - except her - the one that got away. Use em and lose em - that's his philosophy! He will never allow himself to be hurt ever again! That certainly taught him a lesson! But was it the right lesson? I received this book for an honest review.
After catching Calvin in a compromising position can Sofie believe anything that comes out of his mouth? Spending time with Wade to distract herself she decides she needs to hear Calvin out. After talking she comes up with a way to challenge that what he's saying is true, can he pass the test? Can you go on first date with someone who already has your heart?
We finally get the truth of Calvin and Sofie's history. Both made some bad choices and didn't trust the other can they come back from all that and find happiness together? Will the other players involve let them have their happy ever after? This part was meatier than the first two as if filled in a lot of questions and the history, we also get a glimpse into Calvin's softer side, don't worry his bossy alpha male side is still very much present but the sweet side just makes him all that much hotter to me. The chemistry between these two is undeniable if only they could get out of their heads and listen to their hearts. I will be counting down the days for part 4 as like parts 1 and 2 this definitely ended on a cliff hanger. Not a standalone and the series should be read in order.

I really enjoyed this book, the best one yet. I liked how we got to learn more about how they first met and hear Calvin's recollection of the day Sofie came to see him, and what happened after she walked into his office and saw Charlotte sprawled out on his desk. I was so happy that the author did not prolong this agony, that they got to talk about this situation and much to my surprise they also talked about the past. The road to a relationship is not easy for them, she puts certain conditions on them getting back together and some of these moments are funny and sometimes I cringe for what Calvin must be going through. Of course Sofie being who she is, she always tries to do the right thing but unfortunately she does something perfectly innocent that backfires on her and allows someone evil to use it against her, this leaves us with a big cliffhanger that I just did not want to see. I cannot wait for the last book, I don't mind cliffhangers, and rollercoaster rides, the only thing that worries me is that Calvin will overreact and do something in retaliation that she will never be able to forgive, I hope he can show that he is a changed man and not act like a hurt little boy.

I didn't like the first part of Black: Part 3. Calvin is so arrogant and Sofie is forgiving him too easily for being a total douche even while he's still so full of himself.
Eventually Calvin becomes humble and you can see that he really is into Sofie but Sofie still has her doubts about Calvin. And who can blame her!
Also in the picture is Wade. While Sofie is still in love with Calvin (she never stopped loving him) she doesn't trust him with her heart and Wade definitely interests her.
Sofie is obviously confused and isn't sure how to move forward with either man. While she's confused I finally picked a side. As things finally begin to work out for Sofie something devastating happens. It's as if fate is trying to mess with Sofie having a happy life. And yes this is once again a cliffhanger!
I'm intrigued to find out what happens in the final book even though the ending is somewhat a forgone conclusion.
I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.

This book starts off where part two in the Black series leaves off. Calvin Black, is an arrogant, self absorbed man who wants noone more in his life than Sofie. Sofie is a little too forgiving in this book, but at the same time I did enjoy the way she teased him.
I enjoyed the interaction with Wade and the way Wade has Sofie interested in him. But behind all the interest, Sofie still cares for Calvin. She is quite confused during this book and it's easy to see why. Although we do get some answers which I wasn't expecting.
This book ends on another cliffy, but it's a good one where Calvin gets a bit of his own medicine back and it will be interesting to see where this book goes. I look forward to reading part four of the series when it's available.

3 1/2 almost 4 stars. I'm not as thrilled with this one because Calvin was over the top arrogant. He said he wanted Sofie back but was entirely too concerned with his own physical needs. Not that I thought he should've gotten down on his knees to grovel, but he was far from humble. Sofie was also somewhat annoying in her game-playing. Wade went from interested to uninterested to almost sinister. You know there has to be conflict, but I just thought WTH?
Parts one and two of this serial are much better, but I know this is going somewhere. Hopefully, Black Part 4 will find Sofie and Calvin back together and happily in love.

OMG, is this story getting good! This is part 3 of the series and things are starting to really rev up.
Sofie has decided to give Calvin the benefit of the doubt, but first he must pass a test.....
Calvin is overjoyed that Sofie is at least willing to try, even if this test of hers is really going to try his patience.
But there are sinister things about to happen and they are going to take everyone by surprise.
This story is getting very intriguing indeed, who is Rebecca really and what are she and Wade up to?
I can't wait for part 4, so please hurry Ms. Harper.

This girl is so stupid!!! How can she do that? How can she go out with Wade and let him sleep at her apartment? All this while putting Calvin through hell because of what happened in the past... Don't you think you're a hypocrite lady? You're playing with fire.
You deserve everything that's going to happen. Because I have a feeling Hell will break loose now that Wade has told Calvin. And of course he made it sound like they slept together and everything. It's not going to be fun for miss Innocent right now.

I enjoyed this chapter more than the last two. You finally find out what Calvin did to Sofie to have her run from him. You find out how they started and you understand better how much Sofie and Calvin really do love each other.
It is fun to see what Sofie puts Calvin through to find out if he is really true to her.
You find out what Wade is up to but not why. Hopefully, the next book will explain.
I am rooting for Calvin and Sofie to finally work this all out.
As for the cliffie ending - Calvin karma is a bitch!

Right now I want to strangle Wade!!! Calvin proves how much he loves and wants Sadie by agreeing and succeeding in passing her test. Sadie makes it tough for him but you can also understand why she has trouble trusting him. I just hope they can get through the bomb Wade drops. This book kept me on the edge until the very end. I can’t wait to read the next one. I highly recommend this book, this series!

Calvin is willing to do anything g to get Sophie back. Even if it means no sex for a month! She keeps teasing him but he stays steadfast. After all he does need to make up for what happened before when they were together. Wade has designs on Sophie and who knew he was such a douche? This book ends with Calvin getting a huge dose of his own medicine. Let's hope they can get past that in the next book. Love it! Can't wait for the next book!

The drama continues in part 3. Calvin can't get Sofie off his mind and he will do anything to win her back. After a confrontation at the club, Sofie hears him out and agrees to date him on his one condition...no physical interaction. If he can be with her for a month without sex then she'll know he's serious. Sofie is in a bind because her boss is still pursuing her. You will not believe the bomb that drops at the end of this book.

Loved it. This series just keeps getting better and better. Sofie was a little mean to Calvin in this one, maybe a little deserved trying to make him earn his way back, but I enjoyed it some. She was torturing him and herself!! I am not sure what Wade is up to, but I can't wait to see how that unfolds. Loved the cliffhanger, I sure hope that Kelly doesn't keep us waiting for long to see how it ends.

OMG Kelly you are killing me with these cliffhangers but to say I didn't see this one coming I would be lying. It figures Calvin gets his mess together for Sofie's big heart to end up jeopardizing everything. And don't get me started on Wade what a douche. I have a feeling Calvin has something Wade wants besides Sofie.

May be I waited too long to finish the book, in part 3&4, what I felt is stupid. How stupid of Sophie, she was smart one, how can she believe those? Wade? Calvin then what she did to Calvin was stupid too. Sophie got herself and Calvin in hurt, not worth it. Take it or leave it, if you don’t believe in him, then walk away, it is stupid to play games.

Wow, another great book. Calvin finally told Sophia his side of the story. Sophia is trying to trust Calvin again that they decided to have an agreement to built their trust. Wade is not giving up. A huge cliffhanger at the end. I can't wait for book 4.

Sofie decides to give Calvin an ultimatum. He can earn her trust back by going without sex or pleasuring himself for a whole month. What ensues is funny and oh so sweet. I'm liking Calvin more by the minute. Another cliffhanger and dual point of views.

I am enjoying this series but Sofie is seriously pissing me off, she's being so childish, either she wants Calvin or she doesn't! I hope I don't have to wait too long before part 4.
