I would like to thank the author for a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

A lovely histrom. I liked the Irish mmc and the depth of the plot.

I found it a little overlong, with too much miscommunication and an abrupt ending.

✨Wonderful storyline! I hadn’t read a regency romance/historical romance in a long time. Definitely a slow burn, and it has a miscommunication trope, which I get BUT I was so frustrated with these characters! I wanted to throw the daggum book 📖 it frustrated me so much 😂 Aiden’s brothers were a wonderful comic relief throughout (had me giggling out loud a few times) and I love the way she shows how Madeline overcomes her obstacles. Her love for Viv definitely shines ✨💜✨

ARC

I enjoyed the second part so much that I’m going to buy the first one.
Guys, the beginning, the prologue - already had me hooked. Goodness me!!!! I loved how fascinated he was by her. I sat there smiling. A dream of a love story.

How sweet can you get? Briarhaven!
I was completely absorbed in the book. I lost my heart to Viv. The little man won me over. It moved me so much, in every conceivable way. Madeline and Aiden couldn’t have been more perfect for each other. It was all about their little world. It gave me pure joy to read it.

Believe me, my heart was racing at times, I literally couldn’t put it down. I just didn’t want to.

The author is new to me, and tastes vary, of course. That’s why I can only speak for myself right now and give her a brilliant 5 stars. The plot, her writing style, the longing between the characters. Phew! The whole package!! 🥰

I received an ARC. This is my honest review.

The story pulled me in quickly, and I found myself invested in Aiden. The atmosphere was beautifully written, creating just the right amount of intrigue and emotion to keep the pages turning.

I especially appreciated the character development and the way the relationship unfolded throughout the story. While there were a few moments where I wanted a bit more depth, the overall experience was captivating and satisfying.

A solid 4-star read that kept me entertained from beginning to end! 📚

This story has a great premise: a Duchess with a child and lots of secrets who lives next door to a hot, competent man. She asks him for help with her estate. There's lots of three dimensional side characters, including his brothers. The little boy is adorable! Most of the book he's learning to talk and it is the cutest thing. I do wish all of the secrets would've come out a little bit earlier in the story.
Thank you to the author for the copy of this book. Opinions are my own.

I really did enjoy the storyline of the book! I thought it was really clever and who doesn’t like a regency romance 🤭. I also did enjoy the humor that came along with the story. The miscommunication along with the slow burn was a little frustrating but not a bad book at all just wasn’t for me🤷🏽‍♀️

I absolutely adore Regency romances! They have been my favorite sub genre of romance novels since I was in high school. When I had the opportunity to ARC read Briarhaven by Addie Bealer, I took it!

Briarhaven is a sweet love story about Madeline, a young widow, and Aidan, her Irish, horse breeding neighbor.

Madeline is a widowed duchess who has fallen on hard times. Her late husband didn’t have any business sense and she was left to unravel the mess he left behind. In order to improve her financial situation, she swallows her pride and contacts her handsome, successful neighbor Aidan Hennessy for assistance. What follows is a tale of overcoming obstacles, bravery and learning how to follow one’s heart.

If you enjoy light hearted, sweet, clean romance, you will love Briarhaven!
