I have never related to a character more! Looking for love organically in a world of online dating and finding the person you’re meant to be with only for them to be engaged to someone else. Jan and Patrick were everything I was looking for when reading a book, more often than not in MM Romance it seems like a relationship starts with sex and then one of them realizes that feelings are involved and it often feels like those feelings came out of nowhere. Unexpected Turbulence, Patrick and Jan built a friendship that turned into more and you got to see all of it unfold before intimacy even became a factor.

I just finished reading *Amsterdam Hearts: Unexpected Turbulence* by Noah Laurent, and I had to share how much I loved it. The story follows Jan Novák, a thirty-one-year-old head of finance, and Patrick Sutton, a pilot who also runs a YouTube channel about aviation. Their journey begins with a chance meeting in Cancun, and the way their connection grows is both beautiful and meaningful — truly inseparable after a certain point.

What thrilled me even more is that this is just the first book in a five-book series! The characters are deeply developed, and I found myself completely immersed in their story. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I was fortunate to receive an ARC of the book from Booksprout in exchange for an honest review. If you enjoy heartfelt stories with rich character development, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

Jan and Patrick are very likable characters who clicked instantly and unexpectedly when they met after a flight. Pilot Patrick had been living with Maya for a few years, and while he honestly had no clue about his growing feelings for Jan, she did, and was very kind about it in the end. I enjoyed the well researched flight terminology and the accurate descriptions of Amsterdam. This is a very slow burn, with no cheating. I'm looking forward to the next books where Jan and Patrick go forward together.

3.5 stars. I really liked the story but at times it was repetitive which was off putting. Also the whole airplane lingo I felt over powered moments when it wasn’t needed. It was thoroughly researched tho! And it shows, and I absolutely loved Jan and Patrick. I’m hoping Maya gets her own happy ending because she deserves it after being so supportive💚

I read this book in one night. Patrick and Jan meet on a trip to Cancun and immediately hit it off. The relationship becomes complicated when it shifts towards more than friendship.

Every character is this book was likable. I want happiness for all of them and cannot wait to see where the story goes.

Oh my goodness, what a start to a series. I’ve loved getting to know Patrick & Jan. I really felt for Patrick on many many different occasions toward the end of this book but Jan is an absolute sweetheart who has stolen my heart. I honestly can’t wait to hopefully watch their relationship flourish and go from strength to strength in this series. Can’t wait for book two
