Now this is how you wrap up a series with beautiful character development. Riot was mean and hard because she felt like she needed to be. Losing her father and her brother early in her life truly wired her entire being. She definitely earned her title as Street Heiress because she played no games. The way she reads a room, give her advice to Dolo, and the way that they feed off of each others energy. Dolo allowed my girl to be soft, although she was his worker he didn’t treat her as such. Seeing her open up to her mom and Major, even giving Uzi and the crew a chance to really make true friends who had things going for themselves. I truly love Riot and Dolo and I hope to see them soon to see if she ever give Dolo baby Ransom.
As someone who loves morally gray characters this was a good book series all together
Riot and Dolo were cute and I love not getting the see there relationship through but when the other POVS talked about them you saw it that way as well ( Still to many unnecessary POVS to me. )
I do think some parts dragged in this one, but I do appreciate that author did not drag out the conflict events just the story if that makes sense
The ending was little underwhelming but after reading the authors ending note, I know that we may get something from this world in the future.
Entertaining series and it definitely has me ready to go read Daddy’s Gurlz
I really enjoyed this series and I truly loved the growth of Riot!!!…As her character developed, her relationship with Dolo changed and so did the way she interacted with her mom!!!… I loved the convo she and Major had, because I know how hard it is to accept that what was your norm is no longer that!!!… Diego needed a love interest and I kept hoping for one for him!!!… Seeing Uzi and her sisters pop up, that was a beautiful addition to the story!!!…
I like how different this book was from the rest of them. Riot was a beast in the streets and didn’t crap from anyone. The onnnly thing I didn’t like was I just read good girl right before I read this book. And I wasn’t a fan of the similarities. Girl gets hold down and jump. Boy takes girl to beat up the girl that jumped her. I’m like didn’t I just read that. Other than that this was a good read. Can’t wait for the next series.
I still don’t understand all the other povs. Dolo made this series for me. He was mature for his age and grew as a leader. I’m still on the fence about riot and her growth. I did like her repairing her relationship with her mom and her man. I didn’t like the scene of her putting her hands on Dolo for no apparent reason besides her trauma. She still need the couch lady. I thought the epilogue would have been a blast into the future not a few months.
Out girl Riot St. James was bad to the bone! She had issues to overcome, but the love and loyalty she had for family and her man, Dolo Shaw, was not one of them. Outstanding series wrap-up. Penalty for unnecessary use of the comma and "your" instead of "you're" (come on proofreaders, you're making our girl look bad)! Diamond D., you did it again!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 👏🏼
One of my favorite authors and she never disappoints! I love this serious with Riot and Dolo they are definitely added to the list of favorite characters from Diamonds world. This lady know she knows how to write a book. All of her books have me so delusional lol ❤️❤️❤️
10/10 perfect end to the series, Dolo came in and had Riot living a soft gangsta life lol
Love how soft yet gangsta Riot became and her and Dolo are goalsssss!Perfect ending to a series, can’t wait to hear more from all of these characters and they got their get back on anyone who ever wronged or hurt them!Riot reminds me a lottt of Uzi and it was great seeing them bond!
This book gave everything it was supposed to and more! I love me some Dolo and Riot. And to get to see their growth and maturity through out this series was beautiful. They both had what the other needed! I’m sad it’s over for now! But I look forward to what that have in store for the future.
This book was absolutely amazing. I love how Riot blossomed into a beautiful ride and dye for her man Dolo and herself. Now adding Uzzi and her family into this was the icing on the cake because I miss them sisters too. I can’t wait to read more about all of these amazing people so Miss Diamond please give me more.
All I know is I would love to see a book with baby Ransome in it. Dolo and Riot would be great parents, I could see everyone all over Riot being pregnant. I think that plug is going to show up also and come back and want the crew to work with him and not take no for an answer.5 Start as always Diamond keep up the hard work sis
This was so good. Riot and Dolo was so cute together. Riot really came our that tough shell and the way Dolo loved and loved on her was amazing. Uzi and loco still the same no changing them. I'm glad Riot has a better relationship with her mom and Major. Cant wait to see what's next from you.
Riot is an angry girl who takes mess from no one. I love that for her. She got her respect. I love the way the Riot met Dolo by chance, and they grew inseparable from there. The author did a great job transforming Riot. Especially the way she did ‘Cam’ and Tom. Payback really is great! Five star read!!
I am having withdrawal symptoms already, awesome story and characters. Diamond D. Johnson, you did that girl!! I'm not one to give spoilers, but recommend the "Street Heiress " series to anyone!!! You will fall for Riot and Dolo's journey as I have with no disappointment.
Ok Diamond.....you did the damn thing why do I love Dolo for Riot? He was hard af for the streets and loved her down!!!! I need visuals because the glasses made me melt ERRYTIME but I giggled when she broke them!10 stars!
I hate they are over I need more riot and dolo but I already know how you roll so I’ll wait and see what’s next because no matter what I’m going to love it and that’s a fact!
4.5 ⭐️ I enjoyed the story loved to see the growth in Riot. Getting an update on Uzi and her family was good as well. I wish they had a baby because I love babies in books. I can see how she may have left the door open for baby ransom someday tho.
This trilogy was everything I didn’t know I needed. I’m careful leaving reviews as I don’t want to ruin things for others but I will say there’s no need question reading this. The author definitely did her thing and had a new follower in me.
Just read it you won’t regret it! Very sexy love story. Dolo didn’t play with her or about her. I loved how he kept pushing her to come out of the shell she was hell bent on staying in. He told her welcome to the doghouse and he kept her ass there too. lol!!!!
I have to be honest here. Diamond D Johnson is one of my favorite authors. I just did not enjoy this series as much as others. I did enjoy seeing Uzi in the gang however, riot and Dolo just didn’t speak to me.
I still got frustrated with the usage of their for they’re and your for you’re, but all in all, I really enjoyed this book and series. The character development of Riot and Dolo was awesome. They truly loved each other out loud.
This series had the potential to be so good, but the editing/proofreading errors just took away from the story. I completely lost interest in this because of the errors.
I enjoyed this series it was good from start to finish. I was happy to see the Uzi and Loco in the book. Ok that all im going to say....go read it for yourself.
