Love and a threat
Marti moves to Hope, S. C. from Vermont to reset her marriage, her husband divorces her. Joey has lived in Hope for three years and has had a his life nearly destroyed by a stalking ex-girlfriend. Learning to trust, deal with a psycho ex-girlfriend, and remodeling a southern home takes a toll on any relationship ship. Many typos but felt the story deserved 5 stars anyway due to the message. For anyone who enjoys complicated relationships with a love story.

Story of love
From the loveless life to having it all ! It was a nice story of two people who had not been fortunate in their past but their paths intervenes and they fell in love! The only thing that I didn’t like was Joe’s naiveness which really was annoying! Finally they got their happily ever after

I was hooked from the first age to the last. I enjoyed these books immensely. The entire series I kept wondering how it was going to come to a head with Finn. Excellent job!

Under Umbrellas (New Hope Book 1)
Blaine is a horrible man, unable to demonstrate any feeling for his wife Martha, even when she suffers a miscarriage of the child she most wanted.
And when Martha decides to start a new life away from the sadness that surrounded her, the city of New Hope is her point of arrival. And what a surprise when she finds more than the hope that she sought. The city and its inhabitants are welcoming to the new resident, and when Joe Masters appears on the scene, things get very interesting.
With the rebuild of Marti's house, Joey can also rebuild the heart of this woman, and at the same time, his own heart. I loved the story of Marti and Joey.
Tempest Torn (New Hope Book 2)
What a tense book! I just have to say that I really hate Finn and all she did for Joey over time. And when she reappeared in the story, I wanted to give a slap on Joey for committing the same mistake again.
Luckily Marty managed to find an occupation to her days and in the end she and Joey were able to get along again.
This is another beautiful story of Emma Nichols. I loved it!

Despite having committed several mistakes throughout history, Joey finally gets to prove his love for Marty is sincere and he will do anything to them to be a happy family.
Finn is a horrible woman, we can't help but hate her from the first moment she appeared in the story.
But Marty and Joey can overcome the problems and, with the support of "family" New Hope everything goes well for them.
I loved this series!

Excellent
I loved this book. The story was wonderful. Emma Nichols just wrote a beautiful love story. I am getting more of her books. It was very hard to put down and sleep...so I didn't! I couldn't sleep until I finished book 3.

I enjoyed this box set. This is the trilogy of the New Hope Series which tells the jiurney of Marti and Jiey. Their previously lives, how they met, the development of their relationship, the problems/wedges in their relationship, the people who supprot them, and most of all their own HEA.
What is interesting about this is that they both were able to help each other pick up the pieces from their not-so-good-life-before-they-met-pace. Marti has come a long eay especially from that no good selfish ex husband of hers. The same could be said of Joey although both handled their situations after differently. You can guess how Joey made his,
Going through the motions, Joey, there's just something wrong with that man. Every time a situation comes between him and Marti he handles the situation differently. And concerning his ex Finn especially. Although I liked how he changed to be a better man for Marti and most especially himself. And they are hot together. I liked how both got a second chance for themselves and that is for the better.
Also, as much as I liked those who supported I found that they are too nosy for my taste. Like Marti said, she's a grown woman and when they tend to give advices, it's more of a command. Although one of them tries to respect her wishes.
And Finn, never thought she'd be that crazy. I commend her for being the villain except I hated her. She was a necessary evil though I was shocked to find out about the things she did.

This is a great set I have read all 3 books before they were put in a box set and because they are all so good I read them again and I'm sure I will read them even more also. In the 1st book we first meet Marti and her husband who's a lying cheating jerk. She finds out that she is pregnant then tragically she loses the baby and moves to a small southern town that is a typical small town with lots of nosey neighbors and she meets a wonderful man named Joey and there are lots of ups and downs through their lives. In the 2nd book our hero Joey with the help of the nosey neighbors plans a wonderful surprise engagement and it is romantic even with all the ups and downs that are happening for them including a surprise pregnancy and he takes it all in stride. In book 3 we are hoping for this gorgeous small town typical southern wedding but nothing in the south ever goes smoothly. The readers are drawn into typical southern mystery that happens a lot even in this day and age and while they are planning for their sweet bundle of joy one of Joey's ex-girlfriends has become unstable and I cried right along with Marti and her friends as they were put through such agony by the ex-girlfriend. Finally we do get the dream wedding and I do have to say it is wonderfully romantic. I'm hoping that there will be more books in this series to follow.

#1 - STORMY SURRENDER: This is the first book I have read by Nicole Andrews Moore and it will certainly not be my last! I loved this story! Joey and Marti are two broken souls who find their second chance at love and happiness in each other. Beautifully written and deeply moving. I will warn future readers that it ends in a cliffhanger that is continued in "Tempest Torn" (Book 2 of the New Hope Series).
#2 - TEMPEST TORN: This second book in the New Hope series takes up where we left off in Book 1 with Finn's arrival. Joey and Marti face some heartache and separation due to Finn's interference. When Marti takes on a handsome boarder, Joey has to come to terms with how much he has lost due to Finn's meddling. At times heart-breaking, then heart-warming while full of funny moments too, this book has it all! I found it hard to put down as their journey back to each other enthralled me!
#3 - UNDER UMBRELLAS: Wow! What a wonderful ending to a perfectly entertaining romantic suspense series! Marti & Joey's story is a true testament to weathering the storms of life and how love can not just survive but beautifully thrive as a result! The cast of characters in this New Hope series could easily produce spin off series! I highly recommend this book and this series!!

first book in this series revolves around Joe Masters who is in his 3rd year of his 10 year plan & Martha who needs a new start which brought her to New Hope, South Carolina for a fresh start, a clean slate & a new love. This book is very well written and developed with no plot-holes. The character's are realistic with real emotions and flaws. I was hooked right from the beginning as right from the start the storyline was intriguing. This book is sweet & romantic with sexy steamy scenes. You will find angst, banter, & humor. The end almost killed me as it leaves you wanting more. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.
The second book in this series picks up where the first one left off. Everything flowed perfectly from the first book to this book. The characters are realistic with real emotions and flaws. Glad I was able to read the whole series at one time
This was a really great story and I'm glad I got to read it all as one book (the whole set together). I would definitely have gotten upset at the cliffhangers at the ends of the 1st and 2nd parts. As it was,this was a great read and I hope to read more about the New Hope folks. Sounds like a wonderful place!

I have read and reviewed all of these books individually. This box set follows the journey of Marti and Joey as they meet and start to build a life. Marti ends up in New Hope after relocating due to a personal tragedy. Joey returned to New Hope after his father passed away. This is not the typical romance story in which the characters meet and instantly fall in love. In fact Marti and Joey pretty much hate each other when they first meet. Despite their instant dislike for each other they begin to develop a relationship. As they struggle to build a life they face many obstacles, including their exes. Will Marti and Joey finally get their happily ever after? That answer comes in book 3 as the first 2 end in cliffhangers. Readers will not be disappointed in this box set!

Beautiful!
I loved the series! I just could not believe everything Marti had to go thru to get her happy ending! First I could not believe how Blaine was so selfish and inconsiderate, then how Joey being so dreamy could betrayed her and then I bite my nails waiting to find out what Finn would do next! I was so happy when I read the end!

Couldn't put it down
This is a great love story with lots of twists and turns. It has a hero that has to grow up, a heroine that must learn to trust and a town full of people to help them. I want to move to Hope. Sure wish it was real. Hope some of the secondary characters can be developed into a book.

Amazing story!
This was an amazonite series! I read it in 2 days because Isimply couldnt put it down. Sometimes who what we think we want is not really what we need. Both Marti and Joey are trying to deal with this fact and fall for each other.

The emotional rollercoaster throughout these three books are crazy. Love Marti and Joey. Finn is absolutely crazy. Glad she got what she deserved. The town is wonderful throughout all these books. Love Keely and Lauren. Love this set.

I very much liked the first book in the set up until the very end. The next two were pretty good, even though I didn't like the situation that arose from the end of the first book. Worth a read, even though I can't totally rave about the trilogy.
