Mariah Dietz Him series is one of the most frustratingly angsty series I’ve ever read. It started off strong for me, as I really enjoyed the first book. The second book was in Max’s pov and I legit hated most of it. Then this third book… I liked this book. I liked seeing Ace and her growth, but I didn’t love a lot of other things in it and I especially didn’t love the ending personally.

Ace moves across the country because she needs to get away for a while after the loss she experienced. She makes one good friend and there is a potential love interest (Danny- my boy!) and she’s going to therapy. Things aren’t good, but she’s trying. She’s learning to cope and learning about herself. Then she goes home for a few weeks as one of her sisters is getting married…

First off, I really disliked the mom in this book. While reading book one, my favorite thing about this story was the family dynamic. It just bothered me a lot, that whole situation. But nothing bothered me more than the whole Max debacle. How her family still wanted her with this guy was beyond me. If this was my sister and she was still in love with a guy who was dating the worst girl ever and treating her like shit 90% of the time I would tell her to run far, far away. I know they believe they’re soul mates and true love and what not, but I didn’t buy it.

I know I’m being a little harsh toward this character, but I can’t help it. It bothered me so much. One of my friends loved this book and I had so much fun chatting with her the whole time I read it. Even if she doesn’t agree with me that Max is the #WorstBookBoyfriendEver.

I truly think this would have been a 4-5 star read if #1- Max would have gotten his shit together earlier and actually redeemed himself, or #2- it would have ended differently . I’ll say again I truly enjoy Dietz writing and even though this series hasn’t been a win for me, a lot of my friends that love the angsty reads ended up loving it!

In the emotional conclusion of the His Series, Finding Me brings this story full circle. We’ve watched Ace and Max fall in love and fall apart. We saw the events as they played out through both sets of eyes and as the reader, we were absolutely gutted right alongside these two.

Ace ran. Escaped. Her whole world was destroyed with one phone call. Now on the East Coast, Ace is finally trying to get a grip a girl named Harper. But returning home for her sister’s wedding is going to place her right back in the middle of all her fears.

When I picked up Becoming His in February of this year, I had no idea that I was about to discover a gripping romance that was going to take such a hold on my heart. I fell in love with all of the characters, but my heart was stolen by Max. A slightly damaged man who had found the love that he had been searching for in the arms of Ace. Their relationship was a joy to watch unfold and was heartbreaking to watch fall apart.

I went into Finding Me with hope. I knew that Ace had to find some way of reconciling her past and that Max had to find some way to forgive her for running. But I had not expected the level of angst that had me in knots throughout this entire read.

There was not a single moment where I could predict where this story was going. I loved it (although I may have screamed out some choice words at certain times). This story held my attention, it filled in all the pieces I needed to accept Max and Ace’s actions and it ultimately made me love the series so much more than I thought possible.

Mariah Dietz is a superb writer – she gave her characters depth, she created an entire fictional world where they existed. This wasn’t a story or series of two main characters, this was a story that every character had a major part. You got to know them, they aided in driving the story forward and although the first book was a little overwhelming with getting to know all the Bosse girls, I walk away feeling like I have a handful of new friends. This series was her debut, but there was nothing green about the way she molded her words or told her story.

This book was a fantastic conclusion to this series and will go down as one of my favorite romance series of the year. If you have not yet read this series, you need to do that (right now!) – it will not disappoint. Bravo Mariah on another successful release and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next.

Finding Me (His, #3) by Mariah Dietz
4.5 stars!!

“Si l’amour n’est qu’une illusion, alors, qu’est-ce que la realite? (If love is nothing but an illusion, then what is real?)

This is the third book in this trilogy that follows the characters of Harper a.k.a. Ace and Max. I have to say even though this trilogy is their story; it is also a story about their family as a whole. Mariah Dietz has created this wonderful family, the Bosse’s, where every character has played their part and Mariah Dietz brought them all to life page by page. I have followed this series from the start and with each new release they have embedded themselves into my heart. We have had some amazing highs and some soul destroying lows but what Mariah Dietz has delivered with this instalment is the grand finale, and while their story may be over I am not ready to let them go, any of them. This is one of those families that you could read about in perpetuity.

“There are very few things in this world that we can consider normal. Life is not one of them.”

Finding Me carries on from Losing Her and we are back with Harper/Ace’s POV and catch up with her after her move to the East Coast. Harper has been through the worst time in her life and for her, her fight or flight decision has come to fruition and as is typical for her flight was her only option. Leaving her family behind Harper needs to find herself. Somewhere underneath the grief is Ace just waiting to come back out but for now she is suffering from the biggest identity crisis she has ever had. Harper tells herself that by doing this alone she should be able to mend without dragging down everyone else around her. She tells herself that what she is doing is for the best but the repercussions of her actions as we know have far reaching consequences for all the family. The family are lost, they lost their anchor and now it seems they have lost Ace too.

“Life is going to be filled with hurdles that test our strengths, but ultimately, it’s a celebration - a journey. Don’t stop because it hurts, or because it’s scary; pain and fear already take too much, don’t give them more. Fight to be happy…”

This book was more than a journey for Ace; this was a voyage of discovery. Ace was so lost and emotionally destroyed, grief, demons and insecurities taking over the beautiful woman that was buried underneath all that sorrow. Not only had she lost her anchor, her best friend, her go to person but she had also lost her soul mate. The two people that she depended on the most, gone, it was too much too soon, no wonder she had her meltdown. Now miles away from home she has to fend for herself and after keeping her head low, at last she is thrown into a situation whereby she has no option but to converse and for me, this was the first stepping stone to recovery.

“You didn’t break me when you left - you destroyed me.”

Ace makes friends in Delaware, Fitz, Danny and Kitty. Fitz was such an adorable character and despite Ace’s best attempts to keep him at arms length, this guy just never gave up, he was like a dog with a bone and thank god he had that tenacity, because he was the first person to get through to Ace. He became her best friend out there and boy did she need him, whether she wanted to admit it or not. Danny was a fighter, he had the looks and the strength but deep down he knew that Ace’s heart belonged elsewhere, but he enabled Ace to see herself differently and he was another friend that Ace desperately needed. Kitty was a counsellor and she provided the light in the darkness for Ace, it was Kitty that showed her the way, pointed her in the right direction, opened her mind to see what was right before her eyes, she managed to get inside Ace and gave her the confidence and direction that she desperately needed.

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” - Lao Tzu

We all know that the Bosse family were extremely close and now with a family wedding Ace was needed back home. This is where Ace really needed to pull on all her strength. This is where she needed to face those demons, face those memories and most of all, face Max. Their paths would cross again, finally, but can the past be forgotten, can the hurt and abandonment be forgiven? These are all big hurdles but maybe, just maybe, they could at least be friends…after all Max had moved on.

“Take care of my heart, Max. I’m leaving her in your hands.” - David

With each book in this series you can see the growth in Mariah Dietz’s writing, as each review has shown and the rating attached, they have just got better and better and for a debut author at the time she really bought her A game. The character connection is first class; the emotions that this story evokes are countless. I have laughed, loved and cried. I have been devastated, I have been angry, I have been confused and I have been elated. But most of all, I know that I have been on one incredible journey with this family as a whole. This book hammers home the importance of the family unit, how everyone pulls together in times of crisis, no matter their own pain. This book shows that not everyone is perfect and we don’t always make the right choices but the true strength is shown in owning them and being able to admit when they are wrong and having the courage and conviction to do something about it.

“I love the person I’ve become, because I fought to become her.” - Kaci Diane

I have loved this series from the start and cannot recommend it highly enough, this is predominantly New Adult and I have to say one of the best that I have read especially in regards to depth of characters, character connection and that all important emotional pull. Yes I cried, but I also loved and of course the Bosse girls always bring plenty of laughs. For a well balanced series, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Finally we get back to Ace's POV in this book. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed reading the story from Max's POV but I needed to find out what was going on with Ace!

And I enjoyed it and I didn't. There were parts that were hard to read. I can understand what Ace was going through but some things were so extreme. Thankfully, she gets some help and that gives her some much needed clarity.

It was crazy and oh so angsty when her and Max see each other again even though I wanted to bop Max in the head. I loved how at "home" Ace felt and how wonderful her sisters and Abby were.

There's some drama, of course, and the author really keeps us on our toes all the way to the end but the ending was amazing. The letters though, those were killer.

Vale a leitura.

What a perfect way to finish up this series! I feel in love with this group of characters hard! Flove this series! Love is hard and sometimes it makes you go through some emotional roller coasters to get there but the ride in this series was so worth it. To me this was the perfecting ending! I can not wait to read more from this author! I hope I get to read more about this family! "I've experienced moments where I knew as they were occurring, I would be able to remember them for the rest of my life" this is a series that will stick with you and you will still be thinking about it way after you finish it! A wonderful series about love and hardships and everything in between! Pick it up and enjoy the ride! I love you too Mariah dietz!

I never thought I would make it to this 3rd and last novel in the His series as the amount of emotional angst the author puts you through to reach this point is overwhelming. I have to say this was my favorite of the 3 and I am not sure if it is because I knew that I was going to finally find out the future for Ace and Max or just that this story was so beautifully written but I really loved it. Ace has run away from Max and her family to Delaware to escape the pain of her father's death and this is where she starts to become whole again and find herself so that when she returns to San Diego for her sisters wedding she can face Max and her family again.

I swore I wasn’t going to read the last book

So I have an obsessive need to finish a book series once I start it (the exception being really poor grammar books that end up being basically just porn). I knew I probably wouldn’t like whee the story ended up because I didn’t like the second book but I read it anyway. Spoilers ahead. The number one issue with this book and the second is that supposedly Max was so in love with Ace but he gave up and moved in with another girl after a few months. The entire series repeatedly sends the message on Aces issues as being the problem but Max’s issues are something Ace should understand and forgive. This is reinforced by the ending where Ace couldn’t go through with sleeping with another guy even knowing that Max has been in a relationship for months. She ends up going back crawling back to him to apologize for running and when he starts to mention the girl, she interrupted saying that she understands it’s ok. WTH? How could she? She loved him so much she couldn’t move past him with another guy. He didn’t feel the same, he may have felt that he loved her, but he didn’t love her enough to understand her feelings, be there for her, or wait for her. It was all about his feelings, and how she didn’t revolve herself around making him feel loved enough, even during the worst time in her life. The absolute worst part of this series (and the reason I doubt I’ll read this author again) is that even as the book ended that was the message. No matter what her own feelings Ace was supposed to be the good girlfriend and only care about him and his feelings. The author made no attempt to have him evolve. I can only imagine how their marriage would be. Any feelings she has have to be smushed down for fear that won’t like them and react by dumping her and sleeping with someone else. And also honorable mention douchiness, per the typical in these books. The h was a Virgin, stayed virginal, and accepts that the H couldn’t keep it in his pants. She deserved it right? She dared not put him before herself...

I was not expecting to receive this as an ARC. It was such a wonderful surprise. I was never even asked to do a review but it blew me away and I just had to.
I was told by a very good friend of mine to read it with Ace's journey in mind. I was scared to read it, not becuase I doubted Mariah's writing...never that. I was scared because I had no idea what direction she was going to take it and I could not picture Ace without her soul mate. I missed her so damn bad in the second book but Mariah gave me all of her in this one and so much more. Her journey was phenomenal, it was the best growth in a character I have ever seen in a really long time. The storytelling and writing is freaking brilliant. I swear, I lived this story and experienced it with her.
Every.
Damn.
Moment.
Did I get frustrated? Yes. Did I swoon? Yes. Did I get emotional? Yes. And I loved every single moment of it. These characters are like my family, my best friends. Every one of them have come to life and will forever have a piece of my heart. This book was so much more and everything I needed, I'd recommend to anyone and everyone. She teaches you that no one is perfect and that sometimes we have to go our own way, make our own choices, and make life our own. Our choices are stepping stones to finding ourselves and it's ok to make mistakes. Finding Me isn't just a story about Ace, you will learn so more...the importance of family and friends, and your relationship with yourself. It's life. It's acceptance. It's forgiveness. It's real. It's honest. But most of all it's love.

Finding Me flips us back to Ace’s point of view and picks up, sort of, where Losing Her left off. These stories have been intricately weaved, picking up and dropping off as we explore memories and offer us insight and explanation into what we think we know.

This book is packed full of all of the same powerful emotions that the previous two evoked. I still found myself frustrated with Ace and confounded by Max. However, this book also showed us some tremendous character growth. It turns out that this book was not ever just a love story. Or at least, not a love story between a boy and a girl. Rather, it’s a love story between a girl and her family; a girl and herself; and only after all of that is resolved – a girl and a boy.

This one brought me to tears. While my emotions ran high during the other two books in this series, this is the first one that made me cry actual tears. Ace has a lot of stuff to sort through to achieve the growth that she does and we go along for that ride. I was really proud of Ace, and I just adored her entire family (especially Kyle – we should all have a Kyle).

I feel like this book was written brilliantly – it occurred to me halfway through the second book that Ms. Dietz was weaving me through a tapestry of relationships and emotions. This was no longer just a love story, but a story of growth, healing, hope, and learning how find yourself, forgive yourself, and love yourself before you can be any good for anyone else. For a while, Ms. Dietz even had me second guessing how it was going to end (and, because of that, fully prepared to do some harm to my Kindle). Fortunately, there is a happily ever after and I feel fully satisfied that all that turmoil was completely worth it. ~ Shelly, 4 stars

After thinking over this last book in the series, I decided it was well written. It has engaging characters to whom you become really attached to over these three books and it has a complex plot with a beautiful love story. It also, however, had more teenage angst than anyone should have to deal with, and the main characters aren't even teenagers anymore. This may have just been because I'm not the target audience for this story though, and it really wouldn't have been a good book without the drama.

Although I had started to keep track of everyone by the end of book one, after changing perspectives in book two (which I loved) I found myself having to re-familiarize myself with the different friends and family in book three. I needed an index.

I really liked reading about Ace and Max's interactions after having spent an entire book inside Max’s head. As he's pushing her away to protect himself, I knew he didn't mean it. I was screaming that inside my head at Ace every few pages, ‘He loves you, you idiot!’

Some of the ideas were a little awkward for me, and a few of the little cameos of old friends from the first book left me wondering who they were, because I could no longer remember them. It all worked, though, for the bigger picture, and they helped build towards an end that was well done. I finished this series feeling satisfied and not at all disappointed. ~ George, 3.5 stars

**JOSIE'S REVIEW**

I can’t believe this the final book in the His Series. I fell in love with Max and Ace and I am sorry to say good bye to them. The author not only did an amazing job with the series but the way she ended it was just as amazing, powerful and emotional. Find Me is a quick read but there is so many things that go on that I got lost in Ace’s final journey and just wanted more. Finding Me is told in Ace’s POV and touches on the past in the Losing Her book, which was in Max’ POV. Readers wondered what Ace was doing and what she was going through well, the author answers all those question and then takes us to the present where book 2 ended.

Ace’s world was turned upside when she lost her father, loses Max and her mother makes a surprise announcement. She decides to leave California, leaving her family, Max and friends behind to peruse a degree in medicine. It is clear Ace is dealing with heavy issues and instead of dealing with her own she focuses on school and nothing else. It is there she makes a friend with Fitz and starts to live little and opens up. With the Fitz’s help and support she starts to see a counselor, Kitty. She meets Danny a friend of Fitz’. They instantly become friends and establish a relationship. Ace explains that she is not ready for it to go anywhere yet and Danny is ok with waiting for things to become more.

Ace is not herself. She has too much hurt and pain. She constantly is thinking of Max, her family and her life in California but she can’t seem to go back home and deal with her life. Months follow and more distance grows between Ace and her old life in California. With her sister getting married she has to return home and deal with what she left behind. Her family and friends are happy that she is back but they notice she has changed, she lost weight and is no longer the carefree person she used to be. While in California not only does she have to face her past but she also has to face Max. Max who is angry, hurt and also has moved on. Ace wants for things to be ok between them but Max is angry and can’t be friends with someone he was never friends with. Ace has to try and fix things in her life so that she can move on and find peace.

What I loved the most in Find Me is seeing the growth in Ace’s character transpire from the very first chapter to the very last. Losing a parent changed her as did her issues with Max. Instead of dealing with things it was easier for her to run and shut everyone out. We Ace learn more about herself and deal with her feelings of being left behind and handle them in a way she could be proud. There is a part in the book when she reads a letter her father left for her. She has this come to Jesus moment and really knows what her purpose and life should be. Ace will give the only thing left to the man that has held her heart but will it be too late? The author gave readers the perfect ending for this series. The epilogue was brilliant. I am so sad to see these characters go but I’m looking forward to seeing what this author brings us next.

Never have I wanted to read a book more than this one. To find out how Mariah Dietz finished her beautiful trilogy about Max and Ace. It was simply magnificent.
The story continues on from Book 2 Losing Her.
Ace is now living in Delaware away from her family, friends and Max. Her heart is broken and she is trying desperately to repair her shattered heart.
She meets two new friends, Fitz her medical mentor and Danny a famous fighter. Between the two they try to help her rebuild her life.
Ace also attends counseling sessions with Kitty, who becomes more than just a counselor to her.
Once again though Ace must return home for her sister's wedding. Here she must face the truth of her relationship with Max and the death of her father.
This book was absolutely magnificent. The writing impeccable. Mariah Dietz takes the reader on a young woman's journey of healing her shattered heart and soul after the loss of the two most important people in her life.
This book touches the heart of the reader from the very first page right through to the very last.
Every emotion possible is experienced during the reading of this story.
You will cry at Ace's sorrow and pain, laugh at the antics of all the Bosse girls and get angry with some of Ace and Max's actions towards each other. But overall you will love this beautiful finale to a magnificent series.
BRAVO Mariah Dietz for yet another soul rendering book.
Definitely deserved more than 5*****

Every once in awhile a book comes along that touches you in ways that you never thought possible. Finding Me did this to me. I had to sit on this review for a few days because I don't think there are words to truly give Mariah justice for her writing. When reading Finding Me and the struggles Ace was going through I started seeing myself. With every paragraph I felt like Mariah was writing something about me. The fear. The running. The hurt. The guilt. I lost someone a few years ago and because of this I felt everything Ace felt. I feel like part of my soul was in this book. Ace truly is my soul sister, even if she is fictional. I love books that make me reflect on my own life and make me want to live. Finding Me, well this whole series really, is a lesson in that life is way too short and unpredictable so do what makes you happy. Live. Love. Let the anger go. Let the guilt go. Find yourself and live true to yourself.

I don't know that Mariah will ever write a book that surpasses this series as she truly has set the bar high for herself but what I do know is that I will be happily on that journey with her and will read whatever she feels the need to write and publish.

WOW!!! What an emotional rollercoaster of a ride this book took me on. I can't get my mind to wrap completely around all that I'm feeling right now. This brought feelings out in me that I'd thought I'd never have. I love Max & Ace's story and their journey to find themselves. I am so glad I stumbled across this series. This is a great series!!!

Ace's inability to face her issues and talk about it did get under my skin a few times but I don't blame her for running since that's how she coped with things. And losing her father so suddenly turned her world upside down. This was a great conclusion to their journey to find what they really wanted. I'm also excited to hear that Mariah will continue this series about the secondary characters as main characters.

This book was a perfect ending to the His trilogy. I was so worried about how Mariah would bring everything together with how she left us hanging before but WOW! I haven't had a book bring so many emotions up in a while! I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know about Max and Ace but a REALLY just didn't want the book to end. Amazing book!

Holy cow this book was going to give me a heart attack before I finished it! With each turn of the page I wanted Max and Ace back together and it to be done and over with. This has been the most angst-filled series I'v read in a long time and I loved every minute of it. Mariah Dietz did a great job at completing her story of Max and Ace perfectly. This review may spoil books one and two.

"Max is starting to finally fade like a shadow when the sun sets, really slowly stretched and then quickly disappearing." ~ Ace

Losing Her was from Max's point of view and with Finding Me it's back to Ace's story. While she's fitting in back east, she still feels lost without her family or Max. As much as she wants to forget him, she can't. He's in her every thought and dream, she's constantly wondering if he's ok and if he's finally moved on without her.

"My brain has so many memories I actively work to suppress that is no longer seems to function for any intellectual purpose, just a dark cave chock-full of images I work to avoid because if I face them, I don't know what I'll be able to get back out." ~ Ace

Too much loss. That's where Ace is at now. Her father, Max and her mother. Her sisters do what they can to make things better, but all Ace wants to do right now is hide. Hide from her feelings, her family and Max. Out of sight, out of mind. Which was very hard to read about with such a sweet and close family wanting nothing but the best for their sister. No matter how far or for how long she's gone, Ace's family will never let her leave for good, it's just not in them.

"Don't let loss make you lose yourself." ~ Adam

In Finding Me we get exactly that, Harper finding Ace and learning how to let go and live without the feeling of loss totally overcoming her. She's twenty one now, however with the past year she's experienced, it's taken just that long for her to figure things out. It's an emotional journey for Ace and her family. At some points I wanted to just smack her around and tell her to move on already! She's the one that left him, but then expects him to welcome her with open arms? Don't think so.

"You know more about me than anyone. More than I know about myself. It was never that I was uncomfortable with you, I was uncomfortable with me." ~ Ace

Mariah Dietz's detailed characters floored me again. She intertwines them into the story so well they are as important as Max and Ace. The various storylines are easy to follow, however as I kept reading I still wasn't too sure how this was all going to end. At one point I stopped because things just weren't going my way and I wasn't ready for that quite yet.

His Series wasn't what I expected at all. While I was lukewarm with the first one, the second and third hit it home for me. They are emotionally draining at times, but in a very good way. Mariah Dietz introduces her readers to a huge, loving, sometimes dysfunctional family that anybody would love to be a part of.

"Memories are funny that way, like time, they sneak up on you - it's inevitable.

If you've read the first 2 books of this series, you know that this is Ace's story after the breakup. Harper (Ace) moves across the country to try to hide from... everything. The problem is, how can she move forward if she keeps running from the past?

"..time will always pass, but sometimes you forget to pay attention until it's too late."

I read most of this book with tears in eyes, threatening to spill out down my cheeks. The emotion written on these pages... it's overwhelming and hits you like a ton of bricks. Even now, while I'm writing this review. I'm just in awe of Mariah Dietz and what she did with this series and 'Finding Me', in particular. I went to that dark place with Ace. I felt her heartache, her anxiety about remembering and most of all... I felt the weight lifted at the end.

Not only did I love Ace and Max, but I fell for all the characters. No matter how short their time in the story, they all had an impact and played an important part. Honestly, I could totally see Danny having his own book (wishful thinking...).

This was the perfect ending to Ace and Max's story. I'm sad that it's over, but thankful that I went on the journey.

This series has earned a spot as one of my all time favorites. Do you think that you don't like the New Adult genre? Read this series. It'll change your entire outlook, for the better.

I read and reviewed this book on behalf of A Kiss Down Under book blog and Author Mariah Dietz.

After reading the first 2 books in the series Becoming His and Losing Her I could not wait until the 3rd book came out, I wanted a HEA for Max and Ace I wanted to skip to the back of the book to see if they get it (but I didn't). This book was so well written, the author put so much heart and soul into this book, I laughed and cried, wanted to throw my kindle across the room a few times the emotions this book brought out in me was unreal. I love a book that sucks you in and you don't want to put it down, a book that the characters become a part of you and you feel their pain and sorrow, well I got it, this book did all that plus more.Reading how Ace struggled to find herself the angst she was feeling with losing the people in her life that she loved so deeply, feeling her daily struggles with trying to come back, learning how to open up and show feelings was heartbreaking, you felt it while reading it. The family dynamic in this series is AWESOME the way family gather to help one another, the ups and downs of living in a large family the love of sisters and spouses it is all in this book. This book is a must read but definitely read in order you do not want to miss a single piece of Max and Ace's story.. Mariah Dietz rocked this series, I can't wait to see what books she has coming next, found a new author to follow..

This book was truly beautifully written I am a huge fan of this author and think of her as a friend. If you haven't read this series you are missing out. Ace has been through so much and to watch her in this last book was simply breathtaking. Don't get me wrong I love Max I really do but to me this was about Ace and her journey which as you see a devastated young woman finding herself again. I truly believe that things happen for a reason and Ace did have to take this opportunity to understand herself better. She meets Fritz who you all will love he provides her with a extra push. And Kity this woman was fantastic words fail me without giving away spoilers and so I will tell you that they both needed each other. She made Ace face the things she didn't want to face. But knew she needed to. Also she meets someone new who provides her with safety and comfort. But she knew oneday she would have to face the people she left behind. What I loved the most about this book was the growth shown from Ace. Honestly she never realized how important she was and the ability that she was the key that held everyone together. So please I beg you to grab this series and get lost Mariah will not fail you. Also check her out on Facebook she loves everybody and has a heart of gold. Love you sweets

When I started this book, I had crossed all my toes and all my fingers that I would get the ending I was dying to have. I won't ruin it for you, so I won't tell you if I got what I wanted.

I will say that Ace has a lot of soul search to do before she decides exactly what she wants. She may have to do this for herself, but she may lose others close to her while she’s away. Sometimes when you close everyone off just to find your place in this life, they move on and there’s no room in their new life for you.

Max and Ace…. These two are SO perfect for each other, I just wish that they’d get past everything and just get back together already! I understand that there’s a lot that needs to be said before they can even come close to that happily ever after, but I have no patience for that ;)

This book had tears in my eyes quite a few times while I was reading this. Mariah has an amazing talent of connecting you to her characters, you’re so invested on their outcome. I’m really sad to see this series end, but I can’t wait to read more amazing stories from Mariah! After reading this series, she’s become one of my MUST READ authors!

OMG.... I loved this book so much...It was absolutely perfect in every way. I loved seeing the healing and a family reform their tight bond.

Ace, we learn so much about her in this book. We see her growth, her love, her strength. We watch her journey as she conquers her fears and demons. I loved watching her journey. I loved watching new bonds and old bonds form. I really would love to be a daughter her family.

There are so many great characters that I absolutely adore in this book.Danny, Fitz, Kendall, Jameson, Wes, Landon, Kyle, "David" (OMG his letters nearly distroyed me..in a good way) Max the list goes on and on..

I was fighting along with everyone else in this family to get Max and Ace back. This book was so heartwarming and beautiful. I enjoyed every minute of it. So good..This is one of my favorite series and this book is on my top of reads for 2015!

This is the third and final book in this series. Book one and two are must reads before reading this one.

I find it hard to write reviews of books in a series as I don't wanna spoil it for anyone that hasn't read the previous books. So I'm not gonna say anything about the storyline.

What I will say is this book is my favourite of the series. The whole series is a roller coaster of emotions. This book rounded up the series nicely while answering any questions that needed answers. Loved the main characters. Solid and relatable. The secondary characters added to the storyline very well.

If your looking for a series that will pull on all your emotions then this is it. It's a brilliantly written unpredictable and angry story. I loved every word of it.

This entire series enthralled me. I inhaled all three books in a week's time. I loved both Max and Ace, but most of all, I loved them together. They had a beautiful relationship and I truly enjoyed watching their connection grow. These books made my heart ache in the most delicious way. I highly recommend this series!

“Fight for life and always fight for love”

Finding Me was the perfect ending to this series. Wasn’t sure which way the story was going to go but was totally not disappointed. Max and Ace made me want to hug, scream, cry, and cheer for them through this book. And the letters...read them through blurred eyes just like the characters.

inding Me by Mariah Dietz was the perfect conclusion to Max and Ace’s story. I can’t even pinpoint the reason I love the series so much; it’s a relationship that grips my heart, squeezes, and then lets me breathe again. The angst and emotions experienced are so genuine that you can’t help but to relate to the characters and situations presented on so many different levels.

“I just didn’t know how to leave behind the memories without leaving pieces of me behind as well.”

Dietz has enchanted me with her characters from the very beginning, but this book elevated them to an entirely different level. While they’ve always been on their own journeys, Finding Me was about them truly learning about themselves, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of each other. Ace comes home for her sister’s wedding and finds herself navigating different feelings and emotions. She’s forced to confront the demons she has been running from, while also learning who she was, independent of the youngest Bosse sister. There is something so delicate yet pragmatic about the way Dietz does this, especially through her use of Fitz.

“I question if I should stop him or just allow him to go. I know from my own experiences that sometimes there isn’t a right answer.”

I also loved seeing the pushback from Max in this novel. He didn’t accept anything for what it was and although I wanted to slap him countless times, a part of me understood his motives and even admired him for his actions. He started to more carefully guard his heart, while still realizing that you can’t stop love. He has always been a special character for me, but this book easily put him in my top five book boyfriends. I do wish that we could have seen into his head a little bit more, particularly in a few key scenes, but I never felt completely bereft because of the way the author describes him through Ace’s eyes.

“Am I the only one struggling to know what is a memory and what is reality?”

The journey we went on during Finding Me is what the New Adult genre should be all about. The characters had to discover who they were in life, in love, and in all of their relationships really. I honestly think that the antics and craziness, as well as the complexity of the different relationships, is what made me fall in love with the His series in the first place. Furthermore, I found myself highlighting so many portions of this book because, for those of us without a guiding light, there are certainly some words of wisdom to follow and take to heart.

“All you can do is choose to be present during your life, and pay attention.”

I’m incredibly sad that the story of Max and Ace is over because I’ve fallen head over heels in love with all these characters. There’s something about this author’s writing that makes the words flow effortlessly; you find yourself falling down a rabbit hole with no desire to hold on. I loved immersing myself in this series and I certainly look forward to what Mariah Dietz will produce next. If you’re looking for a New Adult novel that captures the very essence of being an adult navigating the events of a brand new world, do yourself a favor and dive in to this series!

I could not have written or asked for a better ending to this series. The title speaks for itself, giving you the understanding of how things have work out for Ace and Max after the running, denying and anger destroyed their world. Till now we have read how Ace runs from difficult situations. She grew up depending on two men, her father and Max. When death and fear took those two from her she did what came natural, she loaded her car with her belongings and headed out of the state. With Max we came to understand him more in book two. Being raised without his father, then reconnecting to only find out the man he really wasn’t, left Max needing Ace even more. When she was gone he clung to the next available substitute and his life kept spiraling downward.
In Finding me, it starts with Ace, now being called by her given name Harper, creating a new life for herself on the East coast. She called in a few favors and found an assistant job in a lab and exposing her to people who pry as to why she is so closed off and away from home. Fritz and Kitty will become vital to her discovering herself again and when she needs to go back home for her sister’s wedding, she will have to come face to face with Max again.

As the story unfolds, there are a few things that the author did that gave me chills and made the story come to life for me. In keeping with the title, Harper discovered her identity isn’t reliant on anyone but herself. She is more than capable at being happy and we got to see that while she was on the East coast but even with happiness she wasn’t complete till she solved what she was running from. I also loved that her father, even though he was gone, played a huge part in this book and in her recovery. He truly showed the love of a father with the way the author wrote the story. I loved how Max was finally able to be honest and real with Ace. He had so many walls up regarding her because of her tendency to run but when he could finally be honest with her, you could see the confidence and courage evolve in his character.

I am totally obsessed with these characters and story. The way Mariah wrote each book was unique and insightful. She allowed us to feel what the character was feeling and put us in each person’s point of view so we could develop our own opinions about the story. She took some risks with this one, it isn’t the typical love story that readers have become accustom to, she added the raw elements of life, loss, anger, fear and defensiveness. She showed we never know when a stranger will become a friend, when a first love will be the only love and how love and protectiveness can reach far beyond the grave. I strongly suggest you read this three book series and read them in order so you can relish in the plot as I have. This will be a story I won’t soon forget.
