This is a story of awakening one day and realizing that you never quit fit. That you had been trying your whole life to shape yourself into a piece that would fit the puzzle you were told you had to belong to. To rejecting that. And to propelling yourself into the abyss to find love and the life that you were really meant for. This is a queer book. A very queer book.The events in this book are true to the best of my recollection. Some names and identifying details have been changed to protect the privacy of people who did not ask to appear in anyone’s book. Some conversations have been compressed or reconstructed from memory rather than transcription. The emotional truth of every scene is as accurate as I can make it. This book contains frank discussions of sexuality, mental health, suicidal ideation, and adult relationships. It is intended for adult readers.
