Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.
Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.
So, sit back, banish the real world and get lost in some over the top romance with a heaping helping of hot. xoxoxo
Emily Morgan and Roman Marshall have been in love since long before either of them understood what love even was. But Roman has a temper and a reputation for throwing punches first and asking questions never, so he makes a promise: keep his fists to himself for one full year, prove he’s worthy of Kicker, and then finally make their relationship official. With that deadline fast approaching, they’re both counting down the days.
Man-monster… The “eighth wonder of the world”… Honestly? The way I cackled while simultaneously clenching my thighs?! Smut. Genius.
This is an over-the-top, forbidden young-love story. If you’re looking for an intricate plot, this ain’t it. This book knows exactly what it is and makes absolutely no apologies for it. So set your expectations accordingly, silence your notifications, and enjoy this delightfully filthy, one-handed read for exactly what it was meant to be.

Dani Wyatt has a talent for writing fast-paced, over-the-top romances that keep your heart racing and the pages turning. The chemistry is off the charts, and the steam is everything you'd expect from her. This is my favorite book in the series so far, and I couldn't put it down. If you enjoy short, spicy reads with plenty of heat, I highly recommend this one!.

They were always meant to be. Life just refused to make it easy.
Emily has spent years loving Roman, testing his patience, and dreaming about the future she knows belongs to them. Bold, impulsive, and impossible to ignore, she's never hidden what she wants. Roman wants the same future, but his scars run deep. Before he can claim the life he's imagined with her, he needs to believe he's worthy of it.
What begins as a long-awaited step toward forever quickly becomes more complicated. A promising opportunity offers a fresh start, old conflicts refuse to stay buried, and one split-second decision threatens everything Roman has worked toward. As pressure builds, both of them have to decide what they're willing to risk for the future they've spent years chasing.
Through every setback, Emily refuses to back down, and Roman refuses to stop fighting for her. What starts as lifelong devotion grows into a partnership built on trust, loyalty, and the certainty that neither wants a future without the other.
Emily moves from impatient certainty to confident partnership, learning that loving Roman means standing beside him through the burdens he carries. Roman slowly releases the belief that he must constantly prove his worth before accepting happiness. Together, they turn years of longing, restraint, desire, and devotion into a future they're finally ready to build.
An ultra-steamy, childhood sweethearts, cowboy romance with dual virgins, protective devotion, family drama, possessive love, and a touch-her-and-die streak, exploring worthiness, trust, commitment, identity, loyalty, healing, and the courage to build a future together. It’s about a woman who never stops believing, a man who has to learn he’s already enough, and a love strong enough to survive old wounds, outside threats, and every obstacle standing between longing and forever.
The Elevator Pitch: An impulsive young cowgirl has spent years chasing the one cowboy she's always known was hers, but the man she loves refuses to build a future on anything less than certainty. As old wounds, family expectations, and a dangerous rival threaten their plans, devotion is tested against pride, loyalty, and the life they've both dreamed of. What begins as a race toward forever becomes a fight to prove that love is strongest when it has something worth protecting.
Fast-paced and well-written, this is the second generation in the Worth the Wait series, focusing on the adult children of the main characters in the earlier books. Emily and Roman are not blood-related, but are technically cousins through adoption. They have been joined at the hip since childhood and have known bone-deep for years that they belong to one another. Emily and Roman are just 18, and while I typically don’t love to read books where both leads are this young, Roman is on his way to becoming a successful tech entrepreneur - it reads mature and competent. Roman refuses to sleep together until they are married, they are both saving themselves, but boy do they get up to some hot shenanigans along the way.
5 ⭐️ rating out of 5. 5 🌶️ spice level out of 5.
The two earlier books in the series were rewritten versions of previously published works, while this book is an entirely new book. I liked this one more than the books before, I think Dani Wyatt’s writing chops have probably only improved with time, and it really shows with this book. The characters feel fully fleshed and I understood their motivations and why Roman was waiting. The spice, while over-the-top, hit just right in this book and still felt believable. This was such a fun, sexy, easy read featuring characters who love one another.

Definitely full of smart but such a sweet cowboy Romance in the mix
My Thoughts 💭
This book starts off of the bang that she's practically begging him to take her V card and his nickname Roman the saint is perfect because the man doesn't budge she has a mouth on her Emily is a brat she's filthy as all get out but this man makes her just as speechless as she does of him the way the daddy plays into this in the way you get the overwhelming feeling of raw tension and so much yearning and then when everything finally comes to play and they end up getting married and then the way that he has to win the approval of her dad and it's just so amazing and by the time that they actually do it they're going at it like rabbits I mean it's hilariously intoxicating I could not put this down and the more that I read the more that I loved Roman and Emily together like just the way that they were and how much he overcomes from his past and how good she is for him but how good he is for her it was just beautiful.
Emily is a young barrel racing champion. However, she has a secret: she is head over heels for her cousin Roman. Even though he is her aunt’s adopted son, she knows he is off-limits. But when they set off to sign a new sponsorship deal, things move fast and get wild and steamy.
Roman was adopted by his mother’s employer after she passed away; he was always treated well but never wanted to feel indebted to anyone. Now a rodeo champion, he is looking for a new sponsor following a setback, but more importantly, he needs to prove himself to convince Emily to marry him.
Will Emily and Roman make it down the aisle, or will Roman’s troubled past stand in their way…
I love this series, it’s incredibly steamy, and in this new installment, we get to see the children of the previous characters grow up...
It’s a journey straight into an erotic ‘wonderland’, full of delightful clichés, love at first sight and unbridled obsession. Emily is an eighteen-year-old heiress and a passionate young woman who has always had eyes for just one man: Roman. For years she has tried to seduce Roman in every possible way, but he has remained steadfast in his determination to protect her purity (they have both been saving themselves exclusively for one another). Roman is a ‘bad boy’ with a tragic past, a secret billionaire and completely obsessed with Emily. He is determined to prove to her father that he is the right man for her before walking her down the aisle. However, someone is lurking in the shadows, ready to ruin their happy ending.
It’s a fast-paced, utterly indulgent and unapologetic fantasy romance, designed to be devoured in one sitting.
A short and straightforward story about the romance between the children of the couples from books 1 and 2. It's pure instalove—romantic, tender, erotic, and incredibly passionate.
Reading how Roman strives to be the best man for Emily was so sweet. Of course, he had a past that held him back a bit at first, but as the story unfolds, he manages to heal from it and let it go once he achieves his goals, albeit in a rather unusual way.
Emily was a fun and direct character who made our protagonist waver and eventually crumble. I loved her personality, her strength, and the way she loved Roman was magical and tender.
Overall, the story is a great way to pull you out of a reading slump because it's so easy and quick to read. I loved it!
Book 3 of Worth The Wait. Can be read as a standalone.
'You get a hot breeding obsessed cowboy and a brazen cowgirl who just wants to ride her man good and proper. If you want to disappear into a low plot, hot sm u tty wonderland with a happily ever after, no cheating, and an obsessed alpha who will conquer his past for his girl? Step inside. We’ve got the goods.'
The characters were very appealing and likeable and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and pretty straightforward. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Another great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

When I finished the first two books in this series, I was anxiously waiting to start this one. I needed to know how taboo this book would be, and it didn't disappoint. I loved how Roman knew what Emily wanted before she even thought about it. The man was an unmovable force when it came to Emily and how he wanted their life to begin. He loved her in a way that made her feel safe to explore her wants. I really loved them together. From her brattiness to his possessiveness, you will have fun reading this story!
This was another great addition to the series and I love how Roman and Emily have been crushing on each other for years. This is a second generation story and the connection to the previous books was fun. These two are only 18 and they're 'cousins' by adoption. They face many challenges and I really enjoyed how neither was willing to stop fighting for the other. They both have been saving themselves for marriage so when they finally let loose the chemistry between them, it's supernova hot ;P I really enjoyed this one and look forward to more books set in this world :D
This book can be read as standalone, though it is connected to the prior two books of the series. If you normally read a romance where it is, more ore less, slowly leading to the steamy scenes - not here. Here Roman and Emily are already a couple, and although they wait for the wedding for the real part, there is lots of stuff you can do before and thats right were the story starts ;-) If you're in for a lots of spice, kinks, two virgins and a real storyline try this one.

Emily & Roman have been friends for a long time and Emily wants Roman to take her V card. When we meet them she is trying to coax him into being intimate. Roman is respectful and wants to wait until they're married, he has her dad's blessing and he is set. He wants to be accepted & be good enough for Emily. PS He was always good enough for her.
This fast paced romance consists of found family, a wedding, and a daddy who finally gives his blessing.

The third in this series can definitely be read as a standalone. Aside from the fact of family ties, the prior books really have no bearing on the story. For example the whole cowboy aspect is completely new to that series. I like Roman, the MMC. A smart and sexy cowboy. Do not really care for FMC, Emily. There was in an interesting plot point in there, a larger mystery, and within a longer novel could be fun. In this it just felt muddled. Very, very steamy. ARC via booksprout.
Roman and Emily have been in love since they were toddlers. Their story is full of twists and turns on the rodeo circuit. He's determined to prove that he can support her separate from her family money. He wants to prove to her family that he's the man for her. They share many tastes that lead to a very happy life once they are finally married.

Don't get me wrong, I am HERE for the V-on-V, all the way, but the raucous, raunchy personalities just rubbed me the wrong way. Spice was hot, anticipation was just shy of making me want to quit, and overall, it was decent.

Kind og boring, mostly about them waiting to have sex and as soon as their drop-in wedding in over, they do it. Would have loved to instead read about how they first got together, here they are already in the “I love you” phase and has a solid relationship other than the H wanting to wait until marriage before they have sex.
Emily and Roman have been part of each other’s lives forever. Emily has never hit her feelings for Roman. When Roman admits, he can’t see a future without her. They must work together against all odds to get the future they want. This is an extremely steamy possessive, love story and a great read.

Emily had a crush on Roman for years and now that she is of age she wants him. This book was hot and steamy. Roman was adopted by Emily Aunt. Roman will not touch Emily until he is married to her and has the money to support her. This book was a quick read, and this ends this interconnect series and is a must read with both characters being virgins.
Emily has loved Roman her entire time. Roman was adopted by her aunt and uncle but the feelings they felt are not that of blood family. They have been waiting until she turns 18 to act on their love and take it a step further in eloping. How will their parents feel when they find out what they have done?
They have been in love and together for awhile but he refuses to have sex with her until they are married. Add in business dealings and family dynamics for some tension and steamy spicy bedroom scenes. Very good read.

First Time Crush is Emily and Roman's double v HEA. I enjoyed the heat and the two main characters were very, very obsessed with each other. The heat was hot! I just couldn't click with the characters like usual. It felt off. I know this is a spicy quick reads, but it just didn't feel immersive.
Wow!!! This book was so good! So much spice! Filled with lots of kinky taboo goodness!! Dani Wyatt is a master at writing stories that will make your heart race! Best one of this series! Highly recommend!
we jump right into them being a couple, we don't get to see anything about how they get together, the first ILY's, nothing, it's so confusing ,they are already intimate, not all the way but they did all the other stuffs... i couldn't connect with them at all.. unfortunately it felt incomplete
I enjoyed reading First Time Crush. I loved the characters and had to cheer them on to their potential HEA. You can feel the pull between them. Enjoyable read all around. I would recommend reading it.

Ok, it’s the impossible fantasy of two first time virgins. Who finally get it on! Roman has been saving his first time for cowgirl Emily. Ride ‘em cowgirl! Fun, insta, fantasy. Recommend.
This was a really good book. I enjoyed Emily and Roman’s story. I did like they wanted to wait until they were married; that they did. I just didn’t connect with either Emily or Roman like I have the other books. While I struggled a bit doesn’t mean you won’t, so give this book a try!.
