Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.

Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.

So, sit back, banish the real world and get lost in some over the top romance with a heaping helping of hot. xoxoxo

When Allister Marshall rescues Leah Morgan from the dungeon where she was gagged and tied to her wheelchair in the pitch black, he vows that she is in his care from that moment forward.

Finders keepers.

First Time Fever is trademark Dani Wyatt with a cinnamon roll hero that falls hard and fast, a sweet-as-sugar heroine, a barely-there plot, and smex hot enough to fog your Kindle screen.

Sometimes I just torture myself, but after reading:

“The damn hotel in Indianapolis must think I've got a fucking badge from the Spunk Delivery Overachievers Club. The sheets practically crack in half from all the sleep jizz.”

Today won’t be one of those days.

He found her in the dark and never stopped choosing her.

Leah has spent years surviving behind locked doors, buried under grief, pain, and wealth that never kept her safe. When Allister pulls her out of the dark, she doesn't know what to do with a man who sees every guarded part of her and wants her anyway.

Allister is built for protection, but Leah awakens something deeper. He's possessive, patient, tender, and undone by the woman who makes him want a home, a future, and a life that feels complete.

Their connection moves fast because neither knows how to want halfway. Desire becomes trust, trust becomes devotion, and every step helps Leah reclaim pieces of herself she thought were lost.

But old dangers don't disappear just because love arrives. When lies and painful truths threaten the future they're building, Allister must learn that protecting someone isn't the same as holding on too tightly, while Leah decides whether she's ready to trust what she's found.

Leah begins convinced that her scars, limitations, and isolation make her difficult to love, but grows into a woman who trusts her worth, embraces intimacy, and chooses happiness without apology. Allister starts as a fierce protector driven by instinct and devotion, then learns to pair that intensity with vulnerability, honesty, and partnership. They turn rescue into a bond built on trust, caretaking, first love, and unwavering commitment.

An ultra-steamy, age gap, rescue romance with a possessive protector, virgin lovers, hurt comfort, and fierce devotion, exploring trauma, recovery, trust, self-worth, healing, family, and unconditional love. It's about a woman learning she is worthy of being chosen, a man discovering that protection means more than possession, and two lonely hearts building a home in each other after a lifetime of waiting to be seen.

The Elevator Pitch: After years hidden from the world, a wounded heiress is pulled from captivity by a man whose devotion arrives with the force of destiny. What begins as rescue becomes an all-consuming bond as trust, desire, and old betrayals threaten the fragile future they are building together. To keep the life they've found, both must decide whether love is something to fear or something worth surrendering everything to.

Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥 Ultra-Steamy / Erotic Romance

MY THOUGHTS 💭

Allister and Leah have this like, insane attraction to each other right off the bat but she doesn't know that she doesn't know that he's like obsessed with her but the way he does it is like such a gentleman way even though he has like a kind of filthy mouth I can say that this book was a little bit tamer than the first book.

With that said you definitely get all the feels still because our FMC is disabled in a way and so she is going through recovery and she's going through all these emotions and all of these things that like hinder her from seeing how great she is.
I feel that Alistair brings out that confidence in her because he dots on her like nobody's business and he completely is willing to like give her the world and show her that she's worth everything and more.

Spice is really good you definitely get like a tenderness out of it and like a sensual way that's not as like rugged or like dirty but it's still hot and heavy.

The plot twist in this I kind of saw it coming sort of but then there were other things that I was like wow I didn't see that coming but I can say the bond that may and Leah have a sister is so beautiful .

I was so excited to return to Allister and Leah’s story, and First Time Fever hooked me immediately. I mean, how could I not be obsessed with Allister and his man code?

“Real men finish what they start. Real men walk ladies to the door. Real men have a code. You’ll get familiar with it.”

Sweet Leah has been through so much between her accident and all the family drama, and I really felt for her. She deserved someone like Allister in her corner, and watching them come together was so heartwarming.

As always with Dani Wyatt, the spice is definitely spicy, and I’m an absolute sucker for two virgins finding each other. Their relationship was sweet, tender, and had me smiling the whole way through.

Some of the drama was a little far-fetched, and I know I wouldn’t have been nearly as forgiving as our main characters were with certain people. But honestly, you know exactly what you’re getting with a Dani Wyatt book: a little plot, lots of sweetness, plenty of spice, and a story that serves as the perfect palate cleanser.

Overall, this was another fun, fluffy read that left me giggling and completely satisfied.

Okay so this book had me from the start! the whole setup-big protective alpha, sheltered heroine, dramatic rescue.I genuienly loved how they meet and fall for each other, and the part where Leah starts supspecting Allister, might be one of the bad guys? The tension was everything!

The steamy scenes are great too, no complaints there at all!

My only thing is 144 pages was not enough for this story! Like there is a 400 pages novel hiding in there and I wish we got it. The storyline deserved so much more room to develop. I wanted more of the romance building, more of the suspence, more of them as a couple-not just erotica.

If the story had been fleshed out more around the steamy bits this would have been an easy 5 stars. But even as a quick read its fun, its steamy and the storyline is genuinely intresting.

Definetely worth picking up if you love posessive alphas, dual virgins and age gap romance!.

Age Gap Romance.

Leah is a wealthy heiress who was imprisoned after the death of her parents, who left her severely injured. So when she is rescued by the handsome Allister, she wants to live her life on her own. But her attraction to her savior grows stronger, as does her fear of falling under the control of a man.

Allister is a former soldier who has created clubs with his friend and former teammate. While his friend has found love, he never imagined he too would fall for the sister who was imprisoned in a dungeon. He, who has always kept his head above water, never thought he would see the day he would find the woman who would make him want to lose his V-Card. Will Leah and Allister have a beautiful love story, or will the monsters of Leah's past resurface?

This is the second book in this series, and even though I might have a slight preference for the first, I still loved it.

I love the context in which the story unfolds; now it's time to learn about Leah, the sister of the protagonist from the first book.

It was a story where Allister made small gestures from the first moment he saw her, which, although not very noticeable to her at first, I found quite sweet to read when he explained them later.
They had a chaotic first encounter, but it brought out his protective, possessive, and dominant side.

Of course, it has its spicy moments, which are always enjoyable (excellent, by the way!), but the parts I enjoyed most were the tender moments, the moments of falling in love, of knowing that it wasn't just lust, but a connection that was going towards something more, a fusion of souls—I love to think of it that way.
He makes her feel safe, brave, he teaches her that she's not damaged or broken; on the contrary, he makes her feel like the most precious being and the most valuable jewel.

Not as good as the first which is sad bc I was really excited to see a MFC with a physical disability like Leah but other than a few times, her disability isn’t a big deal considering how profound it was made to be in the first book and even the first chapter of this one. There’s a lot of her throwing her legs out wide for someone who was said to have to use a wheelchair by end of day.

I usually love a cum in his pants moment, but Alister does it tooooooo often. It lost its punch.

One thing I wish had been discussed was Alister growing his hair back because he’d heard her say villains always have shaved heads. She even wonders at own point why he started growing his hair back but never finds out why. It was such a cute thing to do and I wish she’d learned why.

It was still a very good, very hot, novella that I enjoyed a lot

This was another engaging and spicy read and I love that Leah got her HEA, too. We meet her in book one as we follow her sister, May, to her happy ending. While you could read this story as a stand-alone, you'll get a lot more out of it if you read book one (May and Decker) first. As punishment/leverage against her sister, Leah is tied to her wheelchair and left in a dark room. Thankfully, she gets rescued by Allister, right hand to Decker, who is immediately overcome with tender and caring feelings for her. He really was a cinnamon roll for her and I loved seeing it. She was sure her scars and limitations would make her undesirable. Slowly, the chemistry between them builds trust and they both get the happy ending they deserve. Things aren't all smooth, though, and I was so there for the reading ride. Good spicy fun ;P

Dani Wyatt rewrites a former published story, and it’s a blend of sweetness and spice. I quite liked this story. It felt genuine and sexy and had a heroine with a physical disability, which you don’t get often. It was refreshing to have a female lead who has physical challenges. Our hero is yummy and dedicated to her. Allister is the best friend of Leah’s soon to be brother-in-law. Allister saves Leah after she’s been kidnapped, and it’s love at first sight for him. Their chemistry is intense - they are each other’s first time - Allister has been waiting for the right woman and Leah has been very sheltered her whole life. There’s a small side-plot that was okay. The real draw was these two characters who were likable and steamy together.

First Time Fever is alpha protector hotness with plenty of action and some seriously spicy moments. Allister and Leah have intense chemistry, and crushes on each other that they are both being quiet about. The hero who rescued her (pre-novella action), Allister describes love at first sight when it comes to Leah. She is a survivor who has already lost so much, and I loved watching him spoil and swoon over her. The subplots are filled with drama and delight, and the way the author weaves everything together makes for an engaging and unputdownable book. I’ll have to go back and read the first story in this series!

Book 2 of Worth The Wait. Can be read as a standalone.

'What this big bruiser doesn't have? Any clue what to do with a woman. He's been holding his v-card for the one, thank you very much, and the day he unlocks a forgotten basement dungeon and finds the most beautiful woman alive chained inside, every cell in his oversized body knows.'

The characters were very appealing and likeable and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and expertly drawn. All in all a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.

This is book 2 in Worth the Wait series. Tropes: age gap, injured FMC, and dual virgins. Alistar and Leah were introduced in book 1 and I couldn't wait for their story. Leah was injured years ago in the accident that killed her parents making her wear leg braces to walk. Leah thinks she's weak and broken but Alistar sees a strong beautiful woman that he knows is the one for him. I loved them as a couple. Leah and her sister deserves to be treated like queens and their men make sure that happens. Good continuation of the series.

This novella is dual POV, well written and edited, and a fast-paced, over the top, sweet and steamy, age gap, dual virgin, contemporary romance between Leah, the female heiress lead, and Allister, the male business owner lead. I enjoyed Leah’s determination to be independent, after having been functionally captive for years. I enjoyed Allister’s dedication to ensuring she was happy. I enjoyed the steamy intimate scenes and the lack of embarrassment over inexperience and associated moments. I enjoyed the happy ending. Remember that you’re not reading this story for the realism and you’ll be happy.

Leah & Allister.

This is the second book in Worth the Wait and honestly, you will NEED to read the first one before diving into this one otherwise you'll be a bit confused. I really enjoyed how Allister took care of Leah and made sure she didn't have anything to worry about. The age gap was not an issue for either MC.

companion novella

Allistair and Leah’s romantic journey is hinted at in then end of the previous book in the series. This book is a portion of just their romance with mystery thrown in. You really need to have read Decker and May’s story prior to this otherwise you’ll be lost. Allistair is very OTT trope. Twist in the plot I didn’t see coming. I would say definitely pick this up so you can see the full story of the sisters. ARC via booksprout

WHY?!?! Why can't all first times play out like this?!? I never though v-on-v would be so scorching, but holy-heck-on-a-hocky-puck, Batman! That was utterly delicious and remarkably delectable. The plot was a perfect series continuation fit, seamless as ever, and actually, almost, got in the way of the spice. Still, exquisite. I am SO going back for seconds!.

This was a really good read. I enjoyed Leah and Allister together. These two have their own issues to work through but being together they are able to work through everything and get a read HEA. There is a little bit of drama with Leah's past coming for them but Allister will do anything to protect his woman and give her the HEA that she deserves.

In short, this is the nighttime version of Beauty and the Beast with two virgins.
I loved that the huge, strong Allister rescued Leah from the dungeon of her own home and carried her into the cage of his strong, loving arms. Finding her was the beginning of a life filled with love, affection, and respect, with plenty of passion along the way. They both waited their whole lives for the right person to redeem their V-Cards.

Leah has my ears trying to survive and never truly feel unsafe. Alistair pulls her out of the dark and automatically feels protective and possessive. This is an instant connection that has the rest of the storyline picking up speed quickly. This book is beyond spicy with some specific interest that developed for them. This is more spice than storyline, but it’s a hot read.

I had the most fun reading this story! Allister was a goner the moment he helped save Leah in May's book. The man did everything to make sure she was comfortable and felt loved. I loved that about him. He wanted to take care of her so badly. It's such a good story. You get some very steamy scenes and a bit of suspense. Loved it! Try it out!

Allistair is a brute of a man, all alpha male but he's a virgin. He's never met someone he wanted to claim until he finds Leah chained in a basement. Leah is from a wealthy family but longs for her freedom. She ends up chained in a basement. She's also a virgin and Allistair immediately wants her for his own. The two are cute together.
