Noah meets Charlie under some seriously inauspicious circumstances. She’s taking care of business in a bathroom stall while writing some very dirty things on the wall with a marker. Not exactly the meet-cute you’d expect! From there, things get even more complicated. Noah comes across as mean and standoffish, but underneath that attitude, he’s actually a pretty damn good gentleman.
Charlie has just turned eighteen and is about to graduate. She also has a boyfriend, Brody. Well…technically. She barely ever sees him, and she already knows he’s cheating on her with multiple girls—including her own brother’s girlfriend. 🚩🚩🚩
So, of course, Charlie keeps going back to him looking for answers. And this is where I wanted to reach through my Kindle and shake some sense into her. Girl, WHY?! You already saw the evidence on his hard drive! What more explanation do you need?
Then it looks like Brody is going to blackmail her, and I thought, okay, NOW we’re getting somewhere. Except…nope. That doesn’t really go anywhere either. At this point, I was seriously confused about where this story was headed.
Then there’s Noah.
Noah is gorgeous, talented, respectful, and the frontman of a band that has every girl throwing themselves at him. Charlie wants him BADLY. And when I say badly, I mean she goes to some pretty extreme lengths to get this man into bed.
But Noah keeps walking away.
Over and over again.
Honestly, it almost became insulting! 😂 Usually when a gorgeous guy keeps walking away from you, the message is pretty clear: HE’S NOT INTERESTED. Yet somehow this turns into a whole thing where Charlie keeps pursuing him, and Noah is telling her she’s trying to take advantage of him. Umm…what?!
I also really struggled with Charlie’s drinking. Her lack of control was frustrating and, at times, downright nasty. Then Noah and the band confront her, which made absolutely no sense to me considering Noah had barely given her the time of day. Why is everyone suddenly acting like this is some huge situation?
And this is where the book really lost me.
I was halfway through the book, and we had movie dates, swimming, meals, bingo…basically a whole list of activities, but very little was actually moving the story forward. I kept waiting for something to HAPPEN.
I honestly found myself thinking, Where are we going with all of this?
Thankfully, the story eventually finds its direction, and I thought the ending was decent enough to bring things together. There were definitely things I enjoyed, and Noah was a character I liked much more than Charlie.
Overall, this one just didn’t completely work for me. I spent too much of the book confused by the characters’ decisions and wondering when the actual story was going to kick in.

This is my second time reviewing for Stephy. What a treat to read a book that takes place as the previous book Dirty Roulette’s timeline. I finished and immediately thought of all the Easter eggs hidden. I definitely recommend this duo series to anyone looking for a college, rockstar, coming of age, blackmail (FMC ex), seeking vengeance and finding love while overcoming hurtful pasts.
The emotional depth is what makes this story special. Charlie is entering college and her hurtful jerk-of-an-ex leaves her questioning why she should be the ‘moral good girl’ when life threw her lemons. She has a rebellious streak and wants Noah to have her vCard. Only he is not going to do that. Their friendship is a slow burn as Noah removes the pressure she once felt from a bad relationship. He wants to rebuild her trust, however Charlie internalizes his words as rejection. You’ll have to read this story to find out what happens when they prepare to play the ‘spin the bottle’ hazing game.

This was my second time reading Stephy Marie, and I can officially say I still love her writing! Thank you so much for allowing me to ARC read for you once again in exchange for my honest opinion. 🖤
Noah. Oh, I loved him.
Even while he’s fighting his own demons and dealing with everything going on inside his head, he still shows up for Charlie. He supports her, stands beside her, and gives her everything he can, even when he’s struggling himself. There’s something about a character who isn’t completely healed but still chooses to be there for the person he loves that gets me every single time.
And Charlie… you beautifully broken girl.
I absolutely loved her. She’s so well written, and you can genuinely feel everything she’s going through. Her emotions and struggles gave her so much depth, and watching her journey throughout the book had my heart hurting for her.
But Charlie and Noah together? So freaking good.
Their chemistry, their connection, and the way they understand each other’s broken pieces made their relationship feel so much deeper. They aren’t magically fixing each other—they’re standing beside one another while they work through their own battles, and I loved that about them.
I also really enjoyed how the timeline connects with Dirty Roulette. Seeing how the stories fit together added another layer to the experience, especially after reading both books. They’re different stories, but they complement each other so well and make the overall world feel even more complete.
Stephy Marie, you’ve done it again! Two books in, and I’m completely invested. The characters, the emotions, the chemistry, and the way everything connects have me hooked.

I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful to have received this ARC from Stephy M Marie and IRIS Influencer Society thank you so much for trusting me with this story.
This book had me hooked from the very beginning. Charlie “Trouble” is such a standout FMC — she’s a funny cheerleader, a little bit of a smart ass, and even after everything she’s been through, she’s still trying her best. You can’t help but root for her 🩷
And Noah… genuinely an actual saint, our metalcore lead singer of band🤘🏻. He has his own demons, but the way he shows up for Charlie, with so much patience and support, just made me love him even more. Watching them both acknowledge their flaws and actively work on themselves and their relationship was so satisfying, especially when it would’ve been easier to just walk away. I was fully kicking my feet and cheering for them the whole time.
@author did such an incredible job because this book doesn’t shy away from the heavier topics. It explores toxic and dangerous relationships, hazing, and the pressure young people feel to fit in — even when it puts them in harm’s way. Some moments were genuinely confronting and hard to sit with, but it felt real and important.
The second half really hit emotionally, it was heavier, more intense, and honestly a bit gut-wrenching at times. But that ending made it all worth it. I finished it so happy knowing they got their HEA.
I’m still not ready to let these characters go… I would 1000% read a novella just to see how they’re doing down the track ✨❤️🔥

My Thoughts:
This is my first read by Stephy Marie and I really enjoyed it! I didn’t read the first part but considering you can read Dirty Chorus as a stand-alone, I still had a great time getting to know Charlie and Noah’s story.
Their very first meeting had me hooked…I mean how many times can you say you met someone for the first time by catching them vandalizing a bathroom stall? That alone had me intrigued to know how their lives would continue to cross as the story progressed. I loved the banter between these two but also the moments where they were each other’s comfort even in the early stages of their friendship. He even calls her trouble which is very fitting.
I personally connect a lot of emotions towards music so having a musician MMC and seeing how Noah and Charlie bond over music in different ways really spoke to my heart and made them feel so relatable to me. Yes they had the classic banter and out right flirty moments but seeing just the two of them proved to be a whole other level of character development that stole my heart. Finding someone that sees the real you and accepts you for who you are is a message I love in books and Charlie and Noah were perfect with that message.

Dirty Chorus hooks you fast and refuses to let go! From trying to survive the last days of high school to dealing with betrayal, possessive exes, and the constant feeling of falling apart. Charlie isn’t polished, and she isn’t magically “fixed.” Watching her slowly reclaim herself is one of the things that made her story hit so hard. Her survival feels earned, and I loved that the book doesn’t try to make her journey neat or perfect. And then there’s Noah. 🥵 This tattooed masterpiece isn’t just there to look pretty. He has real stakes in the story like, record deals, tours, his future, and the very real possibility of losing Charlie. His storyline actually matters, and that made his character so much more than just the love interest. The ex storyline? Full on awful asshole energy. And honestly, that made the revenge scenes absolutely delicious. They felt satisfying, necessary, and just the right amount of vindictive. What really worked for me was the pacing. The story balances those blistering emotional moments with quieter scenes of recovery without ever feeling like one outweighs the other. One minute you’re clenching every muscle in your body from the heat, and the next you’re getting hit with a gut punch of heartbreak.
Dirty Chorus is loud, messy, emotional, addictive, and impossible to stop thinking about. Add it to your TBR now! 🎸

I will always love a good rockstar romance, and this book delivered all the music scene vibes!
This story takes place at the same time as Dirty Roulette, book one in the series, and I really enjoyed getting to see Charlotte and Noah’s story unfold alongside those events.
I absolutely loved Charlotte and Noah’s relationship and the way their connection developed throughout the book. Both of them are trying to heal from past traumas, and I thought that added such a raw and emotional layer to their relationship. Their connection felt genuine, and I really enjoyed watching them navigate everything together.
And then there’s Charlotte’s asshole stalker ex… He brought SO much tension and drama to the story, and honestly, I had to keep reading because I needed all the details we didn’t get in Dirty Roulette!
Overall, this was such a fun rockstar romance with plenty of emotion, drama, tension, and all the music scene vibes I love. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what comes next!

A rockstar romance mixed with college romance and some dark vibes. Noah and Charlie have the funniest awkward moment meet cute. There is instant attraction and chemistry. As they continue to run into each other, their relationship evolves. Is it straight forward and drama free? Absolutely not. They are messy and chaotic as young love usually is. They’ve both been through their own hardships and have family issues to work through. Combine that with Charlie’s stalkerish ex and things are far from simple.
I loved that Noah was such a good guy. He was there for Charlie when she needed him. He was someone she could feel safe with during a time when she felt alone. And the tension that build between them? Amazing! He is a beautifully tattooed rocker and she is the beautiful cheerleader.

I had the joy of reading this debut as an ARC and I have to say, it hit all the right spots. Not normally the style I read but I was very happy I did. Slightly slow to start but once the story starts progressing, it really takes off!
We have Charlie, cheerleader, dating the quarterback, Brody. Definitely a toxic relationship and Charlie decides she is done with him. But he definitely is not done with Charlie, becoming obsessed with owning her.
In the meantime, Charlie and Noah have a meet cute in a church bathroom, her vandalizing a stall, him having to clean it up. They continue having run-ins and developing feelings for each other. But each of them have things in their past to heal from before they can continue their burgeoning love.
But between each of their pasts, Brody infringing in each of their lives and upcoming life changes for both Noah and Charlie-they've got many hurdles to overcome for their HEA.

Let me just start by saying that this was my first read by Stephy Marie - and it most definitely will not be my last . I absolutely adored this book so so much . The characters, the storyline - I really could not have asked for anything more . Noah and Charlie just had my heart from the very first page . Sure the connection and the chemistry between them was off the charts hot . But more than that - it was the pull I felt to both and how likable and relatable they were that kept me falling in love . The fact that neither was perfect , that they had obstacles and challenges to overcome to find their happy ending . I feel like I went through everything right along with them. Smiling, laughing, crying and cheering so freaking hard . 🔥College Romance 🔥Forbidden Attraction and Slow Burn 🔥Musician MMC / Band Romance 🔥A Protective Hero and all the feels . Dirty Chorus Delivers All of the above in spades ♠️

Rock Guy, Slow Burn, and a Girl with a Sharpie
I absolutely loved this story!
Charlie (Charlotte) the FMC is a church going , cheerleader who has a fondness for writing on walls with a sharpie.
Noah is the guy who catches her he unfortunately has to clean up the mess!
These two at the beginning have great chemistry you can feel it from the start.
Charlie comes with a lot of baggage -a creepy ex/boyfriend , parental issues and trying to find when the right time to be sexually active.
Noah has his own things to deal with too. He’s in a band and all the in and outs when band mates are trying to find their way.
Side characters were great! Omen was definitely my favorite!
I didn’t read Dirty Roulette which is the first book, but written in the same timeline I will most definitely be reading that one!

What didn’t work for me: I found it difficult to connect with Dirty Chorus. The most significant issue that I had was with the repetitive plot. I felt as if I was reading the same scene over and over again, and it got old quick. The general premise of the book is something that I was looking forward to; Noah is older and kinda stuck where he is in life, Charlie is hung up on another guy but learns what it’s like to care and be cared for. With that being said, I feel like the author didn’t know how to actually write the book. I don’t want to give any spoilers but towards the end of the book, something life-altering happens to one of the characters. It gave off a “I want to hurry up and get this book over with” vibe.
Despite the fact that Dirty Chorus wasn’t for me, I appreciate the author’s hard work 🫶🏻

Charlie and Noah were an absolute complicated mess who just could not seem to get it together. Every time it felt like they were making progress, something got in their way… or they got in their own way. I genuinely started wondering if they’d ever figure it out.
I won’t spoil anything, but some major events happen that I never saw coming. Things got wild. Like… girl, are you okay? 😭
As heartbreaking as those moments were, they ended up putting every piece exactly where it needed to be. Our FMC definitely earned herself a lifetime of therapy, but somehow it all led to such a satisfying happily ever after.
What an emotional roller coaster. I laughed, I stressed, I cried, and I’d do it all over again.

This book stressed me out. Sometimes in the best way and sometimes it was awful. I loved it though. I really enjoyed how the relationship between Noah and Charlie started. How protective he is. They are somehow great together. While Ryder is correct, Charlie is a bad friend, I think she has a lot of room for growth has she grows up. I love that Charlie being in therapy for her trauma is included. It isn't a magically everything is perfect ending but a "we are learning and growing ending" which is better this book.

Dirty Chorus is an angsty, slow-burn, college-setting romance between Noah, our musician MMC, and Charlotte, our vulnerable FMC who is enduring the end of a traumatic relationship with a jerk/stalker (ex)boyfriend. She meets Noah as she is defacing a bathroom stall, and later decides she wants Noah to take her V-card, but he thinks she's too good for him and refuses, but they begin a friendship that gradually grows into more. Can't say too much without spoilers, but lots of things happen during the story that allow Noah to prove his loyalty to Charlotte. Plenty of banter, chemistry, emotion, vulnerability, and some tough moments, but you'll enjoy this one if you give it a read!

This Book was just as good as the first! We follow Charlotte this time, a recent high school graduate, who just like any teenager is navigating relationships and the next steps, We have Brody, the jocky douche football player, and we have Noah, who is the heavy metal rocker, juggling his life and career whose lives all intertwine, for one game...but who will come out the winner? What happens when someone is so jealous of what you have, they will do anything to take it for themselves??

Finished this story in 3 days. Once I started, I didn't want to put it down! My heart was racing 2/3 of the way in - and not just from the spice! It started as a cheerleader/quarterback/musician triangle (of sorts), but became something deeper and more complex than I thought. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and look forward to reading any future stories with the characters.

This is my first read from the author so I haven't read Dirty Roulette and I had no problem following Dirty Chorus.
Usually, the trope Idiots-to-Lovers is present in lighter books with rom-com vibes. Here, Charlie is definitely an idiot thinking Noah's actions are a rejection, but the story is darker. So the miscommunication trope is at the core of this New Adult slow-burn story.
Both characters are flawed and emotionally damaged but Noah is really my favorite. The support he chooses to give Charlie is fantastic.
The stalker situation adds tension which is a real page-turner.
The music is everywhere and I loved that.
A very good read.

This was a really interesting book that I absolutely loved. This is the first time I've ever read anything by this author and I was genuinely blown Away. The book was absolutely phenomenal I love the characters. It was super easy to read. You could immerse yourself in it and just get lost it was that good.
Overall, really good book I recommended to anybody he was looking for a really good book.

I loved this book. Totally different vibes than what I’ve read before & that made it even more fun. I loved Noah & Charlie. Their chemistry is amazing , the characters are so well written along with the storyline! I truly couldn’t put this one down!

I just finished this book. And recommended it to my two closest friends. I loved this book all the way through but my emotions were going through it for about the last 15% of the book! I don't want to give away any spoilers but I was on an emotional roller-coaster ride in the best way! I completely recommend this book!

The book started off slow but boy did it pick up, and being in my favorite genre, rockstar certainly helped. Noah and Charlie met under strange circumstances in a church. Then in a car accident. And then it continues from there.. All I can say is READ THIS BOOK. Thank you BookSirens for the copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved book 1 so much and I loved this book even more! I absolutely love Charlie and Noah! What a roller coaster this book was so full of emotions! The ending was absolutely perfect for this book! I literally couldn’t ask for a better book 2 to this series!

This book is a really good. Charlie and Noah have such a interesting dynamic. If you like reading Rockstar romance I totally recommend this story. I was very happy to be an ARC reader ill be posting about this book soon on my social media.

The conversations between both of the characters were starting to feel repetitive. I will also say that they were both immature, and I couldn't help but cringe a little each time they had an interaction. I do appreciate being gifted an e-arc, but it just wasn’t for me.
