The characters were very appealing and complex and compelling and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

I love how this series gets better as the story comes along. This is book 6 of the HAVEN series, it can be read as a stand alone but the books are all interconnected.


The suspense and intrigue in this steamy romance is just on point. A kidnapped chef - Ecstasy- , a vigilante/extractor - Enzo-, a mansion in Italy that hides secrets, a connection through food and wine, action, secrets, passion, and a relationship that needs each other to survive. Be ready to be swoon by the plot, stuck to the addictive story, and enjoy the extended epilogue that will give some hints of the past, and what is to come in this series.

The premise behind this book is quite amusing, albeit slightly disturbing. Nonetheless the plot plays out well and the element of secrecy was woven in splendidly. In terms of the writing style, I would have preferred longer paragraphs. This wasn't exactly a book I'd expected to pick up cooking tips from though.

The epub I received for review generally worked well in dark mode, displaying light text on a dark background. However, the chapter headings still displayed in black on black, making them invisible unless highlighted. The internal links functioned correctly. There was no extra content at the end.

This latest book in the Haven series had plenty of romance along with suspense and intrigue. The team flys from Jan and Steve’s wedding to Italy to investigate a branch of Meridian.operating a colking school. New team member Enzo helps with the extraction And manages to fall for the woman they are there to save. Nice incorporation of previous characters and nice updates with the ending. As the scope widens it will be interesting to watch what happens in upcoming books.

You have to read this book which is the next in the HAVEN series. The tension will keep you glued to the pages while Steve and Jan get married and honeymoon in Florence. While this is happening they connect with Renzo, who works undercover for AISE the Italian intelligence agency, to extract Ecstacy from a mansion. Ecstacy is a chef who survives by cooking for her captors. This book is not to be missed.

loved it !! love this series !! love Renzo and Ecstasy... this is their story... a fun fast paced rom/drama adventure... she's being held captive in Tuscany... in a cooking school... the team is in Italy for Janice and Steve's honeymoon... Renzo is going undercover as a wine merchant... this was so good !! the rage.. the banter... the angry cooking... so good !!!.

Extracting Ecstasy is a dark, steamy vigilante‑rescue romance with a thriller edge, and I loved how it blends danger with emotional grit. My favorite part is Ecstasy’s discovery of the hidden wing, when she realizes the women are being kept separate and guarded — it’s the moment the story’s stakes sharpen and her quiet determination becomes something fierce.

I loved Ecstasy and Renzo. He was there to extract her. She’s being held captive and is cooking for them. I thought this was chaotic and fun, steamy, and intense. There was a lot going on in this story but I absolutely loved these two.

The series keeps geting better and better.
Renzo is a Italian Intelligence Agent who has been following Meridian for the last 5 years mapping them.
Ecstasy is a chef who won a scholarship in Italy and went missing.
Haven team join Renzo to extract Ecstasy and any other women being held.
Ecstasy & Renzo are drawn to each other. Food is their love.
In the meantime Steve and Jan get married with the crew from the previous book present. There was no time to get everyone together in the short time of a wedding.

I believe you will love this book in the HAVEN series and look forward to the next one out soon.
