Need to reread this (as it doesn't take much time), I remember liking some of the books from this series, and some just meh. Will rate it later. Ahhhh I remember this one as well! And I think perhaps the pain of the character in particular really stuck a core? It was spectacularly done, seeing that the main girl REALLY doesn't talk, and it was all shown through action. It was gut-wrenching to read through the part when the "routine" was broken, and you could really tell how those seemingly insignificant daily life moments were actually deeply cherished by the girl.
P.S.: At this point some people may feel a bit repetitiveness with the author's work; I can only say, at least she always brings in something interesting while using similar formats, which is a lot better than half of the stories I'm seeing out there. I will never get tired of a book with a character that's supremely good at cooking. =P
