Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

MAD #600 was my first time ever reading a MAD Magazine and not a reprint or collection, so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. As a milestone issue celebrating 600 editions, it mixes new material with classic reprints, and you can definitely feel the history behind it. The Sergio Aragonés cover, Spy vs. Spy, and the overall celebration of MAD’s legacy were fun to see, especially knowing the magazine has returned to publishing a significant amount of new material.As for the humor itself, it was a mixed bag for me. I chuckled several times, and there were a few clever parodies that landed, but a lot of the jokes didn’t hit as consistently as I’d hoped. I can absolutely see why MAD has been so influential for generations, but as a first-time reader, I found myself appreciating its legacy more than loving this particular issue.I’m glad I finally experienced MAD, and I’d be willing to check out another issue down the road, especially now that it’s producing more original content again. This one was enjoyable enough, just not something that had me laughing from cover to cover.

I’ve been reading MAD magazine on and off since 1975 and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. This is their 600th issue!
