This was a smooth, easy read with great dialogue flow.

I really loved Chase and his dominant, touch obsessed, needy self. Logan was also an interesting character, dealing with his mental health struggles and his new fame. While I connected with them more in the second half, the romantic chemistry stayed a bit surface level for me, so I didn't feel the deeper emotional pull I was hoping for with this type of story.

This book was well written enough that I would be open to reading other books by this author.

6 fucking stars. Damn, this was good. I loved Chase and Logan from the moment they laid eyes on each other. Their chemistry was off the charts!

⚠️ Probably some tiny spoilers past this point. Read at your own risk ⚠️

Their relationship is toxic in the beginning. They were SO GOOD for each other while being SO VERY BAD for each other. They were both living on the edge of their feelings. No one was saying things that needed to be said. It was heartbreaking. They relied on their sexual attraction to keep them coming back to each other while drowning out the rest of the world with alcohol.

Logan Stone is a big time TV star with the lead role in a massive production. Everyone knows him, fans and paparazzi follow him, tabloids print lies about him. He’s experiencing all this while dealing with past traumas. He has a hard rime dealing with being famous. He’s sad and lonely and a little bit broken. He’s trying to put on the perfect face for everyone while crumbling inside.

Then comes Chase Cameron… the “straight” bartender/artist from the hotel Logan is briefly staying at. He craves connection with someone. He’s touch starved/obsesses. He’s needy and clingy. And he’s just… lost. He has so much going on in his head all the time. And Logan spends so much time wanting to protect himself AND Chase from his lifestyle that he pushes him away. The moment they realized they would ruin each other if they kept going the way they were going BROKE MY FUCKING HEART. When they parted ways without ever even having kissed, it broke me.

But, Logan and Chase taking that year apart to find themselves and realize what they lost made them coming back together so much more impactful. Their journey back to eachother is emotional. Their lives are a struggle. The character’s growth through their journey was beautifully written. The vulnerability between them was top notch. I was an emotional wreck through most of this book. It hit me hard and I loved every second of it. Their HEA was well deserved.

Chase’s bi awakening was fucking beautiful. The way he experienced things with Logan was intense. It had me on the edge of my seat. All through the first arc of their story, I was clinging to every little moment between them in the hotel room.

Thank you Gay Romance Reviews for the opportunity to read an ARC of this beautiful fucking book.

"When I look down, Logan’s eyes are closed. I stare at his lashes for a while, realizing he’s fully asleep. I can’t stop rubbing the top of his back in slow, steady circles. I don’t have a single clue if I’d feel comfortable touching other guys… but having Logan resting on me like this feels good. Like he’s keeping me from drifting away, up into the air like a loosened balloon."

I've been inhaling Raleigh Ruebins's Crimson College series but I think their current standalone Chase is my new fave!

This is Chase and Logan's story and they are such opposites that they make for the perfect chaotic combination. There are some dark themes and toxic behaviours, but the journey for both men makes the ending that much sweeter for the reader.

What To Expect:

🖤MM romance
🖤Hurt/comfort
🖤Opposites attract
🖤All the spicy first times
🖤Bi-awakening
🖤Age gap (8 years)
🖤Toxic, obsessive traits
🖤Dark themes
🖤HEA

Loved it!

I just wanted to say I’m disappointed

I saw the tropes and and the cover I was intrigued it sounded good in theory

It didn’t connect with me. I didn’t feel it connecting in my brain and it just left me feeling underwhelmed.

I got to 17% and I just had to stop I just couldn’t do it. I wish I could suck it up and see where the story goes but I don’t know if I’ll like it enough to keep going. Especially if it’s not connecting.

“It’s like you’re trying to milk my cum from me” I also get cringed out when something like this is mentioned like I just can’t

However even though it wasn’t for me, it might be for you

I LOVED this! Adding Raleigh to my go to authors now 😉
I freaking loved Logan’s and Chases chemistry. Logan is an actor thrust into fame, but his past makes him absolutely terrified of that fame. Chase is a bartender/artist working at the hotel Logan is staying at. Logan is immediately taken with chase but, he’s straight. But even chase can’t deny the chemistry.

Ahhhh these two 🤩 thanks for the ARC Raleigh!

Logan Stone has a type- he likes them messy, complicated, and straight.
You are completely and entirely a craving I can’t control. It's terrifying when I know I would willingly ruin my life for you. And maybe ruin yours, too.”

When Logan meets Chase, he's a rising star in the first season of a hit TV show. His life has changed overnight and the fame is overwhelming. He's coping by consuming too much alcohol and attempting to seduce the hot bartender at his hotel. Chase is straight, but he's also a sucker for undivided attention and gets off on how much Logan craves him.
I know the effect my cock can have on people, and honestly, it was just as flattering to have a guy be that hungry for it again that quickly.

The two start a secret relationship- kept out of the public eye due to Logan's unease with his own fame, and his terror of forcing Chase into the pressures that come with the public eye. They recognize that they aren't good together and so when circumstances take Logan away from New York, they break things off. The brief but explosive time they spent together leaves an impression on them though- well beyond what either of them expected. The hope of being together is so motivating that they both clean up and start living clean.
I don’t have a single clue if I’d feel comfortable touching other guys… but having Logan resting on me like this feels good. Like he’s keeping me from drifting away, up into the air like a loosened balloon.

Sometimes I think Raleigh looks inside my brain and picks out my favourite things: Logan has major Connor Storrie vibes- blond waves, freckles and muscles for days looking like a Greek god... and then we have Chase who's angry and a bit messed up, with touch hyperfixation. 🚨 WE HAVE A SUPER HANDSY, INCREDIBLY BOSSY STRAIGHT GUY WITH A GIANT DICK hooking up with Ilya from Heated Rivalry 🚨. Are you kidding me 😮‍💨🤤. They both have issues, are scared to really admit how they feel, and on top of that there's some slutty little glasses and art and a nude photoshoot and so much more!
I don’t think he’s a mess at all, because calling him a mess would be like saying a great painting is a mess of color. It’s supposed to be that way. The chaos is what makes it beautiful.

Chase is a very character driven book, and in my opinion is the best book Raleigh Ruebins has written to date. The bond and sheer chemistry between Logan and Chase is everything. Their relationship works because of their pasts, not in spite of them.
He’s given up all pretense of pretending he’s not completely in my control, right now, and he’s looking at me like I have his entire world within my palm.

I wish we'd gotten a bit of the time the two spent apart, because skipping that time trivialized their hard work and made it look easier than it should've been. I think this book was about an inch away from being something truly spectacular. I hope more characters pop up in Raleigh's head and refuse to go away, because I'm gonna need more exactly like this. I really enjoyed it and put it in my top reads of 2026 list!!
“You’re mine, Logan,” I tell him plainly. “You’re mine. You have been since the first time you saw me, because you couldn’t look away, and I couldn’t, either.”

Rating: 4.5 stars, rounded up
Angst: 3.5/5
Steam: 4/5

I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review. GR isn't letting me adjust my star rating to 5 stars but once it's published I should be able to make that edit.

4.5 stars! I really really enjoyed this!
This is the story of Logan who’s a bisexual actor who’s adjusting to the fame and Chase who’s straight and works at the hotel Logan is staying!
When logan sees Chase working at the bar he’s immediately attracted but Chase is straight he’s always been
They both have heavy issues they are working through
Logan is adjusting to fame being haunted by the memory of his first love and best friend Daniel who died after being overcome with the fame and drugs
Chase is drinking too much partying too much
When Logan goes up to the roof and finds Chase there they have an encounter Chase dares logan to get down on his knees in a commanding way and he does in his thousands of dollars pants!
They start a situation ship no one knows Logan is bi and he’s terrified of someone else getting hurt because of the spotlight so they just keep it at hooking up
Chase is someone who needs touch and he explains that to Logan so he doesn’t get overwhelmed
Logan very quickly realizes he would do anything Chase wants they continue being together until Logan has to leave New York to being filming and they just keep it casual even though neither of them want that
A year later Logan is back
He’s doing better with fame he’s not drinking he’s better
Chase is also better no drinking no smoking and he’s painting more
What they both can’t deny is the pull towards each other but this time around they communicate!!!
Chase let’s Logan know about his childhood and how his dad treated him and Logan tells him all about Daniel
One of the hottest scenes is the photoshoot Logan does with Chase what I didn’t like was the breakdown after I felt so bad for Chase for people saying stuff to him because of his past but that post breakdown scene when Logan asks him to be his boyfriend was top tier!
I really enjoyed their story truly it took them a lot of get there they both had obstacles they needed to overcome and they both had to heal before they could truly be one
Whenever Logan claimed him as his boyfriend it was just the best thing!

This was a really sweet story. I didn’t expect it to be very emotional, but somehow it was, in a good way. It is also an interesting trope idea, we have a movie star celebrity who has a hard time dealing with fame and an artist who is trying to find himself, an 8-year age gap and a kind of second chance romance.

I loved that both Logan and Chase’s characters were really interesting. They are not very typical MCs; Logan feels everything very deeply, while Chase was chaotic and unpredictable and I enjoyed his awakening a lot, it was unexpectedly easy, but it made sense because it was very Chase 🩵

“The thing about Chase is that he doesn’t just wear his heart on his sleeve, though.
He wears it all over his whole fucking being.”

Their dynamics was interesting too, both in sexual way and in the way their relationship unfolded. I can’t really pinpoint why, but it read to me differently than the usual plotlines, their behaviour with each other was far from clichés.
The only thing that bothered me is that I wasn’t 100% in it with their romantic connection.. The chemistry between them was obvious, and the pull was definitely there from the beginning, it’s just that I really believed in THE love more towards the end. But maybe it’s a me problem 🙃

“You sure I’m not too much?”
“You are too much.
And I want you to keep being too much, because I want all of it.”

I loved them both and both of them managed to break my heart, make me shed a tear, but put it back together in the end 🩵
I am very thankful for this ARC and the thoughts are my own ❣️

ARC Review of Chase by Raleigh Ruebins. This is a 5 star read for me. I loved this book. This book had my heart from the first page. This is Chase and Logan’s story. They are total opposites but balance each other out. I love them together. I love the spicy scenes this is a high heat romance. Chase and Logan’s pasts break my heart and what they each have gone through. This is a slow burn, very spicy, hurt/comfort, actor mmc x artist mmc, tattooed mmc, ADHD rep, hurt/comfort, bi-awakening, touch fixation, 8 year age gap, MM romance. Logan is 29 and is a newly famous TV star who doesn’t know how to handle the newfound fame. Chase is 21 and is a bartender at a hotel bar but he wants to be an artist. Logan and Chase meet when Logan comes into the bar of the hotel he’s staying at where Chase works. Logan is attracted to Chase instantly and likes the fact that he doesn’t seem to recognize him. Chase is straight but is attracted to Logan too and is now curious. Chase starts exploring his sexuality with Logan and soon they are together almost every night until Logan has to go back to LA. Chase and Logan both have traumatic pasts that effect how they are with each other. While navigating how they feel for each other and where they go next they have to deal with time apart, emotional healing, and finding their way back to each other. It makes me sad the time Logan and Chase spent apart but I love seeing them grow individually and then coming back to each other and really getting to know each other. I love seeing Logan navigate fame, fans, his career, and love. I love how they support each other. I love their HEA. I definitely recommend this book.

Ohhh this book was SO TENDER. 🥹🖤 The kind of story that sneaks up on you while you're expecting chaos and suddenly you're sitting there feeling ALL the feelings.

✨ MM Romance
🖤 Famous actor x starving bartender
🔥 Straight... allegedly 😂
🖤 Touch-starved men
🔥 Obsessive attraction
🖤 Healing & found family

Two damaged men in NYC who make absolutely NO sense together... and yet somehow fit in the most perfect way. Logan is the famous, golden-haired film star struggling with fame and being seen for who he actually is. Chase is pure chaos wrapped in a red-flag bow, ADHD, touch fixation, partying, and a whole lot of "I'm totally straight!" energy. 😏

And then these two become friends. 🥹. That friendship becomes the foundation for something so much deeper, and I loved watching them slowly become the safe place the other didn't know they needed. Chase is such a pleaser, and watching him learn that someone can believe in him, his art, and his future? My heart. 😭🖤

Chase is battling drugs, partying, not belonging, and living entirely in the moment. Logan is dealing with the loneliness and pressure that comes with being famous. Together, they start to figure out what it means to build something real instead of just surviving day to day.

There are hints of dom/sub dynamics and a strong desire to please that added some delicious tension. 😮‍💨🔥 And Chase's whole "I'm straight" journey while he literally cannot stop touching, kissing, and wanting Logan had me laughing and fanning myself at the same time.

"Guess I'm a little bit gay... huh?" 😂🔥. YES, CHASE. I THINK YOU MIGHT BE and THANK YOU FOR IT.

Chase
by Raleigh Ruebins

Chase is a standalone MM romance about two men who meet by chance and find themselves drawn to each other when neither of them is truly ready for a relationship.

Chase is a bartender and artist who is struggling with his sobriety, while Logan is a rising TV star trying to navigate his newfound fame while carrying the weight of grief and his past. Even though Chase has always considered himself straight, he can’t deny the connection he feels with Logan, and the two begin a secret, casual situationship.

It quickly becomes clear that they’re both carrying a lot of emotional baggage, and while their attraction is undeniable, their relationship isn’t healthy. When Logan returns home to Los Angeles, they decide to end things. During the year they’re apart, they both put in the work to heal, face their personal struggles, and grow into healthier versions of themselves.

When Logan comes back to New York a year later, the difference in both of them is obvious. Their chemistry is still as strong as ever, but this time it’s paired with maturity, trust, and genuine support for one another. I really loved seeing how much they had grown and how they were finally able to build the relationship they both deserved.

This was such a beautiful, emotional story that kept me invested from beginning to end. The character growth was one of my favorite parts, and I loved that the romance wasn’t just about finding each other—it was about finding themselves first. If you enjoy emotional romances with second chances, healing, and plenty of heartfelt moments, I’d definitely recommend giving Chase a try.

“I love you,” he tells me in bed right before sleep.
He smells like him. I don’t know how his hair has magical properties of always smelling that good, but I’m not going to question it.
I bring him close to me, burying my nose in his hair.‌‌‌‌‌‌‌
“I love you so much. And you know you’re getting a key to my New York apartment, right?”
I cherish every part of the excitement I see in his eyes as he looks up at me, in the pale light coming through my bedroom windows.
“Yeah? You like me that much, huh?” he says. “I swear you’re getting a crush on me, Logan Stone.”
I kiss his temple, softly and slowly. “Want to know a secret? I’ve sort of had a crush on you since the moment I laid eyes on you. And now my crush is all-consuming. You know I had a dream the other night where I was just trying to think of different ways to make you laugh?”
“Obsessed with me much?” he murmurs.‌‌‌‌‌‌‌
I can’t help but smile.
“Completely. Devastatingly. With all my fucking heart.”
“Well, I’m obsessed with you too,” he says. “So get used to me. Because I’m going to spend the rest of my fucking life falling more and more in love with you.”
“Even when I bother you?” I ask, stroking my palm over his back.
He hums. “Especially when you do that. Can you bother me forever?”‌‌‌‌‌‌‌
“I promise I will, Chase.”

This is a new to me Author and this was a fun read.
Chase by Raleigh Ruebins I had the honor of averting an arc from the author

Wow this book is super sweet. It has its emotional moments the banter is amazing and the connection between Chase and Logan are off the charts.

Chase is a character for sure. He says what he’s thinking without filter. But under all of that charm and charisma he has some trauma he doesn’t like to speak of. He’s also discovering his sexuality. He’s an artist but is constantly going from job to job he meets Logan at the bar that’s how it all starts.

Logan who’s dealing with his own past and grief is an actor who in the beginning isn’t happy about at all. He meets Chase at a bar let’s just say it didn’t go as planned. But he does meet Chase again on a rooftop. Things get really spicy. Let just say Chase is a touchy feeling guy.

Chase and Logan truly have this beautiful chemistry it’s messy is obsession but they have a mutual understanding. That turns into a beautiful relationship. They both sort out their issues and become better versions of themselves. I love how Chase brought out Logan’s personality and opened his eyes and heart to what he truly craved and loved. Logan was so supportive of Chase even though he had a lot of doubts and fears about himself. He truly showed Chase he was more than just sex he was a person worth loving.

Chase is a standalone MM romance story about Chase and Logan.

Chase and Logan meet by chance in NY and are immediately drawn to one another. Chase is a bartender/artist and struggling with his sobriety. Logan is a rising TV star and trying to deal with his new fame while struggling with his past and grief.

Chase is straight but wants to try something with Logan, and they start a secret casual situation ship. They both weren’t in a good place and realized their relationship was toxic. Things ended when Logan needed to return home to LA. They broke it off and while they were apart, they both worked on their issues and became better versions of themselves.

When Logan returns to NY one year later, we see how Chase and Logan can’t deny the pull towards each other. They definitely had chemistry, but I wish we would have gotten more of a romantic connection.

I did enjoy Chase’s character. I loved how he wore his heart on his sleeve and was a needy and touchy feely guy. Logan was eight years older than Chase. He was closed off and had his walls up. I wasn’t sure what to think of Logan’s relationship with his best friend. It wasn’t clear to me if Logan had been in love with him, but their relationship had a huge impact on Logan’s life.

In the end, I was happy to see Chase and Logan find acceptance and love.

I want to firstly thank the author Raleigh Reubens but also The Author Agency for sending me this arc. If I could give this more than a 5 star rating I would. I absolutely fell in love with Chase, he was so goofy! So forthright with everything and that was refreshing. Logan was just a sweetheart.

When we first meet him, he is a mess. Like downing tequila like it’s water…. And then we meet Logan who is not much better 💀 he’s a scotch guy, who tries to mask his pain and his grief with the bottom of a bottle.

I don’t usually like the whole I’m straight and denying it BUT this was a complete different approach. Chase is not like any other person I swear, he’s blunt but also very hard on himself about everything. But his openness to everything and free spirit leads him to the best thing that could ever happen to him!!

There’s a time gap but it’s very much needed for them to evolve as people and I’m so glad they had that. It allowed them to live without each other but also show that even when they’re apart. They’re still tattooed on each others soul 🥹🥹🥹

People may think the pacing is rushed but it wasn’t fast enough with the time apart!!!! I thought they were adorable and just watching their relationship flourish and confidence grow eeeeek!!! Definitely would recommend this book a thousand times over!!!

I love this story so much. Chase and Logan have such strong emotional arcs throughout this story that their romance is the perfect complement to their growth individually and as a couple. Another aspect that I love in this story is the need for physical affection; both Chase and Logan are touch-starved, and seeing them both be so vulnerable and patient for one another made this story so impactful.

I couldn't get enough of this story and the journey both Chase and Logan go through. They are both struggling internally with a lot of emotional turmoil and meet by chance, and that spark is instant, their are immediately drawn to one another. Logan is an up-and-coming television star, Chase is struggling to maintain sobriety, and neither is looking for anything serious, but fate has its own plan in mind.

Chase and Logan are slowly but surely drawn to one another, which begins very unceremoniously, but eventually develops into a very intense bond and connection. Watching them both fall so earnestly for one another and then eventually fight for one another was perfectly done in this story.I love the journey both guys embark upon and how serious they are for one another. I couldn't get enough of their story; it was beautiful.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (4.5)

⊹ | 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙚 by Raleigh Ruebins is an emotional M/M romance. It can be read as a standalone and follows Logan and Chase. This book explores themes that some readers may find sensitive.

Before I start, I want to say thank you to the author for giving me the opportunity to ARC read this book. I absolutely loved Chase and Logan's story, and I can't wait for everyone to meet my babies.

Once I picked up this book, I was done for. It was emotional and cute, and I seriously couldn't put it down. While Chase and Logan are complete opposites, they found a place where they could be themselves with each other. Additionally, their chemistry was amazing, and they had some very sexy moments.

One of the things that surprised me most while reading was the year-long time jump. Yes, the story still flowed together beautifully, but I wish we had gotten to see the characters healing during that time frame.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a good opposites-attract romance. Although this book is a standalone, I wouldn't be against another book, perhaps about Julian. Anyways, I look forward to checking out other books by this author in the future.

Chase and Logan start off hot and obsessive but also oh so toxic. They are drawn to each other in the best but worst of ways. They are both battling demons that neither know about.

That year apart was absolutely needed. They had such a whirlwind sorta kinda toxic relationship and that year apart allowed them to better themselves. When they reunited they were each so much better both physically and mentally.

I LOVED watching these two find each other and there connection again without the booze and other factors. They were so much more real and in tuned to each other. They were still obsessed in the best healthiest of ways.

I would love to get more in this world. Maybe a book on Julian or Charlie or Charlie with Julian NOW that would be a fun time.

First off wow this book was spicy and beautiful. Logan is an actor he always feels he has to be on the smile in place, the look perfect and his private life as well. Then he meets Chase someone who is trying very hard to get everything together. When they meet sparks fly but there is one hiccup Chase is straight however Chase is intrigued by Logan. Their relationship is one that burns hot and at first may seem toxic but in their own way works for them. Chase is an artist and there is something about Logan that brings his creativity and passion out onto the canvas or his photos. He simply cannot get enough of Logan. While Logan for the first time feels free that everything doesn't need to be perfect and that he and Chase can actually have something more than secret meet ups and flirty text messages. When all is said and done they found each other and Logan was just what Chase needed and Chase was exactly what Logan needed. Raleigh has written a spicy yet beautiful story about a seemingly perfect actor and a somewhat broken man but together they are perfect.

The story of Chase was beautifully chaotic in the best way. Chase is not a simple character. His vices have always been pills and alcohol, but after meeting Logan, all he seems to want is to be by this mysterious stranger. Chase begins to question why this stranger encapsulate him so much, especially when Chase has always been straight.

Logan, on the otherhand, knows he is not straight, but his career makes it hard for him to act on his desires. When he meets Chase, he is enamored with the bartender. From the first time they meet, there is something there between the two. But Logan's cautious view of life means that being with Chase and keeping him may not be an option.

This story follows Chase and Logan's relationship over different points of time within a 2 year period. Emotional and so sweet... this story was worth all of the feels.

I received an ARC from GRR and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Chase is a sweet MM standalone romance, with high heat and surprising tender moments.

I really enjoyed this story, and couldn't put down the book. Chase and Logan seem so different at first, both in what they are looking for and in how their lives are taking shape. Yet they can't stay away from each other.

I liked the contrast between the MMCs, and how the story didn't make anyone change themselves to be loved. There's plenty of mental health rep, both the good and the bad, and the turn the book took was the good kind of unexpected.

While there's plenty of spice, and much of the relationship developed mainly on the physical side, there were plenty of sweet and heartwarming moments, giving the story that touch of wholesome that made everything better.

Overall, this was a sweet, although super spicy, read, perfect for those readers looking for complex characters and an opposite attracts feeling.

A very cool story. It was unique among romance novels and a departure from Raleigh’s previous books.

It felt liminal, most of it taking place in one hotel room. It was not formulaic and I had no idea what was going to happen next. There were times I wondered if things were stalling out but was always rewarded.

It was somber but not upsetting, more of a noir effect. The MCs had rough things in their pasts but instead of creating new dramas it informed their characters and development.

I loved that we got some exciting times with them as bad boys, then got a more meaningful romance as they matured. They didn’t fix each other but inspired each other to put out their own fires. Love a book with therapy and a realistic view of substance abuse.

I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews, and this is my honest review.

Wow oh wow...Chase is definitely something new and different (in tonality) to Ruebin's previous works. Emotionally charged, with intimacy that is reverent, tender, and obsessive. I loved this book. As Chase and Logan's love unfolds, they also subsequently grow as individuals as well. What stands out for me in Chase is the longing, the touch starvation, etc. There are so many moments in this book where you feel enrobed by the little moments Chase and Logan manage to steal amongst their chaotic lives.

Some of my favorite moments include the rooftop reunions/confession, the internet-breaking photoshoot, and of course, their much-deserved HEA. For me, Chase is a hit for Raleigh Ruebins and I loved seeing a different side/tonality to their writing.

***ARC REVIEW***

Chase is a standalone MM romance novel that follows TV star, Logan Stone. He stays at a hotel in NYC and quickly becomes obsessed with hotel employee, Chase.

Holy crap this book was good! I was a little scared that it was going to be too toxic for my taste based on the blurb, but I’m so glad I was wrong. The obession in this book was the right amount of toxic while still being real and believable. The emotions in this book flew right off the page and into my heart. Reubins writing brings these two characters to life so well. You could really feel the pull that these two guys had towards each other.

“When he kisses me again, I know that ending up here was worth every bit of pain that I’ve suffered. It was a hrad road that led me to where I am. Here. With him. On my own two feet, making my own way toward a future that I love. It’s all inside me, in vivid, vibrant color, alive with what we’re creating together.”

Such a heratbreakingly beautiful story! Logan is an actor who blew up over night and became super famous for his show. Chase is a bartender in the hotel lounge where Logan is staying. Logan goes for a drink and immediately assumes Chase knows who he is but surprisingly Chase doesnt keep up with the pop culture so he never heard of Logan. They start hooking up and become eachothers addiction. The relationship is toxic and they both see it so they call it quits, until a year passes and Logan comes back, Chase changed up his whole life, but Logan is still struggeling with his isuess. They help eachother heal and grow. Chase is a very touchy guy and their chemistry and the spice between them was very well written but the romance aspect could have been more developed and also i didnt really like how Chase poured his heart and soul out to Logan while he stayed tight lipped about his past

I really enjoyed this book. It’s labeled as dark but it’s not really all that dark to me, just has some notes of it sprinkles throughout. I devoured this book and did not want to put it down. The first half of the book grabs your attention and the second half holds you captive.

Chase and Logan are perfect together. From the very beginning their chemistry was off the charts. The draw they have to each other is incredible. I love when 2 broken boys come together, realize how toxic their relationship is, go heal, and come back and 2 strong men for each other.

This one will be living in my head rent free for a long while. Honestly Logan and Chase are one of my favorite couples so far this year.

I received this ARC from GRR and these are my honest opinions!!

Honestly, as I began the story I really wasn't sure where the story was going & I was preparing for something tragic. I'm so glad I was able to fully immerse myself into the world of Logan and Chase!

I loved the dual POV, seeing it from each of their perspectives really made the story more emotional than I was expecting! Chase was so funny, and unapologetically himself while Logan was so concerned for those around him; while dealing with fame that he wasn't used to.
The mental health rep in this story is such an important piece that needs to be talked about, and I love that Chase came forward with it in his own way (no spoilers, iykyk)

Thank you Raleigh and The Author Agency for the ARC, these thoughts are all my own!

4.5⭐️
Absolutely incredible. Chef's kiss🤌🏻.
At the beginning, these two were toxic with a capital T, keeping all their words and feelings inside while battling with alcohol.

Logan is an actor who became famous overnight and who did not handle that fame really well, and Chase is a touch-starved chaotic bartender/artist who is incredibly lonely and just lost. I really enjoyed his bi awakening though. No denial, no overthinking, just: "damn, i guess i like dick now, too." Very Chase.

When they both sorted themselves out during their time apart, their relationship turned into something beautiful and just as intense as it was when they first met. They are complete opposites, but they bring out and encourage the best in each other. Watching them decide to fight for their hea made me really proud and so damn emotional.

Chase is such an incredible book and I highly recommend 👏🏻

Thank you to the author and TAA for the arc 🥰

This was a fun and sweet easy read! Chase and Logan were such sweet precious boys! I loved how chase was soo touchy feely I related to that so much with people I love and care about that is so me to a T! They both had their own trauma and issues but from the start there just was this pull to each other that just could not be explained! I loved the second half of the book when they see each other again it felt as if no time had passed between them and just kinda picked back up from where things left and they absolutely just fit in the best way possible chase with his little chaotic ways and Logan with his put togetherness. I really enjoyed these 2 and their journey together 💜

Wow. Raleigh knocked it out of the park with this one. I was hooked immediately and loved watching the evolution of Chase & Logan's relationship. This one was packed with emotion and a little bit of angst and all the healing. The best part was watching these guys work through their trauma and heal themselves. I loved their chemistry - off the charts! It was obsessive in the best way. I can't say enough about this book - I don't have the words, but it is a must read! Emotional and so good in all the best ways. I've read a lot of Raleigh's books and this one might be her best so far. Absolutely loved this!
