I have quite a collection of mindfulness books, free & purchased, & this is one of the better books esp. For beginners!!
Most all these books start by explaining what mindfulness is & then go into giving mindful exercises to do. This book actually goes much more in depth telling the background of when this first started & the eras & people first using it!!
I really enjoyed this author's approach & research in mindfulness & made me excited to actually learn more about it, in a beginner's book. I've been practicing mindfulness for over 6 years, taken official classes, gone on a few retreats & I enjoy when I can find even more new information to add to my daily mindfulness routine :-)
I highly recommend this to anyone just learning or wanting to see if this is a topic they might be interested in learning further & this is a great book for beginners
I purchased this book on Audible last month. I’m glad I did. I used to get stressed so easily. This book helped me stop worrying a lot, and deal with daily stress. I’ve learned how to handle and cope up with life’s daily challenges. I love this book.
Book part is pretty good. The journal part which is have the book is stupid. If you can get this book for low cost or free go for it otherwise not so much.
