During a routine stop en route to Viros, Jannike Hondros is kidnapped and incarcerated, her destination a planet she’d hoped to never, ever visit again—Manx Two, the planet where she was accused of murder.
Prince Lynx Leandros of Viros, second-in-line to the House of the Cat, and his bodyguard, Shiloh Tetsu, are caught in the same trap as Jannike. Destined for sale as a breeding pair and a spare, escape seems impossible, and now Jannike informs the feline shifters they’re showing mating signs. Impossible. Neither Lynx nor Shiloh believe her, yet they can’t deny their relationship has turned strangely touchy-feely.
A lucky break sees them fleeing for their lives, but danger lurks over every sand hill in their race for safety. The two men are becoming even closer. Jealousy and yearning stalk Jannike. She can’t fall for either feline and certainly not for both, then nothing matters when she comes face-to-face with her past and death stalks her with its beady eye.
Contains two headstrong alpha shifter males and their female match, enough kitty cats to make a leap and some hot lovin’ in the great outdoors, the indoors and places in between.
USA Today Bestselling author, Shelley lives in Auckland, New Zealand with her husband and a rambunctious puppy.
Typical New Zealanders, Shelley and her husband left home for their big OE soon after they married (translation of New Zealand speak - big overseas experience). A year long adventure lengthened to six years of roaming the world. Enduring memories include being almost sat on by a mountain gorilla in Rwanda, lazing on white sandy beaches in India, whale watching in Alaska, searching for leprechauns in Ireland, and dealing with ghosts in an English pub.
While travel is still a big attraction, these days Shelley is most likely found in front of her computer following another love - that of writing stories of romance and adventure. Other interests include watching rugby and rugby league (strictly for research purposes), being walked by the dog, and curling up with a good book.
It felt like it took forever for this book to come out, but it was definitely well worth the wait! First off, if you haven't read the other books in this series - go and do so NOW! This book refers to and includes characters from the other books. Which is one of the reasons this book is so great. Having the different characters from previous books, in this book, is like meeting up with old friends and remembering their different quirks and personalities. The plot revolves around Shiloh, Lynx (the guys nobody has been able to get ahold of before, now you'll know why) and Jannike. Ms. Munro also introduces us to Kelvin, a Tremin (great imagination Ms. Munro). Most of the story takes place on Manx Two, Jannike's home planet and the danger that awaits them there. You'll be constantly turning the pages wondering what's going to happen next. There's a lot of action, some drama, a little bit of revenge and some steamy sex, all wrapped up with Ms. Munro's sense of humor to make for a fast paced read. Warning, there is M/M scenes besides the M/F/M but written in a way (that like Jannlke who got hot watching) you'll enjoy reading. And the hot sex between the three of them will make steam rise from you tablet! This is definitely one of the best books in the series and I hope it isn't the last. There are still lots of characters left on the Indefatigable (and on the ground) whose storyline I would love reading about!
This is the 3rd book in the House of Cat series and Shelley Munro has done it again with this one! I love a love triangle when it's done right and this one sure was. Lynx and Shiloh find themselves on the same ship as Jannike on their way to a planet where they are to be sold as slaves. After they escape and hope that friendlies find them and help them get off the planet, Lynx and Shiloh find that they want to be closer than their friendship has ever taken them. Jannike feels something for the feline shifter pair but keeps her distance as best she can...until she can't.
I love a good shifter story and for the most part it doesn't matter to me what kind of shifter I'm reading, although I really like big cats. Maybe that's because my mother had an obsession with black panthers when I was growing up. So I love meeting new types of shifters. Kelvin is a Tremin and is a really interesting secondary character. He's also a shifter but he's a tree shifter. He shifted into a tree and gave them shade as well as water after they escaped. He was such an interesting character and not something I'd ever come across before, which makes him unique and I love unique characters like him. His story is a sad one but I hope we haven't seen the last of him.
There was so much to love in this book, from the mention of the rat-pygmies, the imaginary mouse which was hilarious and the shocking twists that I found both sad and wonderful depending on which characters it was happening to.
I really liked how Lynx and Shiloh work together to woo and bring around Jannike. They know they have to go slow because of all she's been through and even though it's driving Shiloh nuts because his cat wants more from Jannike than they have gotten, he gives her time to come to them in her own time.
While you can read this story as a stand alone book, there are characters from the first two books in this story and you would have a better understanding of them and how they relate to the others if you read those books first.
I should point out that there is a rape in this story for those who usually don't read stories that have that in it but it's done in such a way that we know it's about to happen and then we don't come back to it until it's over and she is being rescued. It's not graphic or done in such a way that should offend anyone. What it does show is how strong this character is and how with love, support and maybe even a little revenge you can get through even the darkest of times.
This story is fast paced and I always felt like something else was going to happen because it did! The author did a great job of keeping this reader completely absorbed in the story.
If you like shifters, alpha men, threesomes, plot twists and paranormal romance then you will like this book.
It’s ok overall, but I believe you have to be in the right kind of mood to read this story. I’ve read mmf stories before without this issue, but I feel that the plot for this story leaves something to be desired. I think the plot lacks depth, and that the romantic aspects seem too frequent, almost forced in some aspects. The plot suffers for this. It’s as though the author was so focused on the romantic aspect, they all but ignored the plot. Yes, it’s a romance, but if a plot is included I feel as though it should be the foundation of the romance.
I nearly read it in one sitting as I couldn't put it down. There's a myriad of fascinating characters and creatures. The story is perfectly paced and there's an unexpected HEA. I loved the chemistry between Lynx, Shiloh and Jannike it was hot! The tension built to a cracking level. The romance and the emotions between Lynx and Shiloh were beautiful as well. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
This is the 3rd book in the House of Cat series and Shelley Munro has done it again with this one! Lynx and Shiloh find themselves on the same ship as Jannike on their way to a planet where they are to be sold as slaves. Jannike points out to Lynx and Shiloh that they have all the signs of being mates and they need to complete the mating. After their escape from the ship, they try to find a way off planet, while hoping Ry and the Indy crew find them before they are captured again. It soon becomes clear that Jannike is their mate too, but she fights it for as long as she can. However, when Shiloh and Lynx are determined, there is no stopping them from getting what they want.
I loved reading about Kelvin who is a Tremin and is a really interesting secondary character. He's also a shifter but he shifts into a tree. He was such an interesting character and not something I'd ever come across before, which makes him unique. His story is a sad one but I hope we haven't seen the last of him.
There was so much going on in this book that there was never a dull moment. I really liked how Lynx and Shiloh work together to woo and bring Jannike around to mating with them. They know they have to go slow because of all she's been through and even though it drives Shiloh crazy because his cat wants to demand more from Jannike than she has given them, he gives her time to come to them on her terms.
While you can read this story as a stand alone book, there are characters from the previous books that you would have a better understanding of them and how they relate to the others if you read those books first.
This book is a page turner! I absolutely loved revisiting the characters from the previous books and remembering what I liked about them and reading what has happened to them since their time in the spotlight.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who like shifters, alpha men, threesomes, plot twists and space travel, then you will love this book.
Jannike Hondros comes face to face with her past when she’s kidnapped and incarcerated with two headstrong alpha feline males in this spectacular sci-fi paranormal romance.
During their capture Lynx and Shiloh can no longer fight their attraction as their mating call kicks into high gear and the reader can’t help but be fascinated by this romance as Jannike feels that same pull but fights it every step of the way. The chemistry is out of this world hot and the sex scenes including m/m and m/f/m scenes will blow you away but the relationship is definitely a work in progress with secrets, emotional issues, good intentions and a dangerous situation getting in the way. These strong compelling characters demand your attention while they capture the heart and makes them pound with excitement and passion while the fast paced and smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, action and romance.
Adrenaline pumping excitement builds lots of tension throughout the story as Jannike, Lynx and Shiloh are captured and during their escape attempt forced to dodge not only shady characters but creatures that have every intention of eating them all while fighting mating urges and jealousies they don’t really understand. Well written scenes and details paint vivid images that bring the story to life while the action packed events ensure that the reader can’t put the book down and unexpected twists keeps things interesting.
Shelley Munro has a gift for bring readers fascinating worlds with very interesting and unique characters that are believable and entertaining and each world is a perfect blend of passion, action, suspense, romance, emotional turmoil and humor. I love finding myself completely lost in her worlds and Seized & Seduced is no different, I loved the complexity of this ménage mating as it added depth and entertainment to the story - oh and I just to have to say that the mouse was a fun touch to the story.
Seized & Seduced was a good book!! I do recommend that you read the first two books in The House of Cat Series so that you can get a better understanding of the characters. It can be read as a standalone but you would have missed a lot of important information of their past.
Jannike had been kidnapped along with a calibore that attached itself to her when the Indy Crew had stopped en route to Viros. Her kidnappers threw her unconscious body into a cell with two male shifters. Prince Lynx Leandros of Viros and his body guard and best friend Shiloh were the two male shifters in the cell with her and they were keeping their identity a secret for now. Jannike was moaning and had not regained consciousness so they decided to call a guard for help. A doctor comes in and realizes that the bite she received from the lizzard was infected so he gave her a shot and told Lynx and Shiloh to watch out for her.
Lynx and Shiloh start to feel itchy and start having some sexual thoughts. It is becoming unbearable for them. Could it be that they put something in their food or just that it was close quarters. Trying to stay clear of each wasn't successful because the nearness or touch seemed to help a little. They look over and think that Jannike is still out so together they start trying to relieve some of their sexual frustration which makes them less itchy. They go over and on her and realize that she is awake and she was awake for their little show. Shiloh starts asking if anyone will look for her and she told them yes, she has a tracking device and that the Crew of the Indy would search for her. She notices their itching and tells them that they are at the start of mating. Of course she doesn't tell them that she is starting to itch as well.
You have to read Seized and Seduced to find out what happens along their journey!! I love Shelley Munro's imagination!!
What a fabulous story this one was. Jannike is captured while on her way to the planet Viros. She is thrown into a cell along with two very handsome feline shifters, Lynx and Shiloh. Lynx is really Prince Lynx of Viros and Shiloh is his bodyguard. These two have been friends since childhood and are always getting up to mischief of some sort. The three of them have been kidnapped by the widow of a man Jannike once slept with. This woman is a vicious specimen and vows vengeance. But the three of them escape. Lots of itching. Lots of scratching. Black marks. Mating? A sand worm. Ouch. One of them captured again. Rescue. A prince. A bodyguard. An impressive female fighter. What a ride this one was and I loved it.
