What an amazing woman! I learnt a lot about Aotearoa New Zealand. Even though I was alive for quite a bit of the time period covered here, there was plenty I didn’t know. It was fun to see a few familiar names.
Unfortunately, there are some errors in the book. I was surprised to see a cartoon labelled “Labour Party MPs, 1987” that featured Jenny Shipley! I had to check in case she had changed parties 😆 (she hadn’t).
The thoughts at the end are still very relevant - stem privatisation and create social responsibility. I think Sonja would be sad to see that a lot of things have not changed.
