It might char your mind a little 🔥🪝
It’s twins but with a difference 😉 It did have me hating one of them even though the other is no better. The storyline is good nevertheless for me it was predictable from the first few chapters, I could see where it was going, this did not stop me from enjoying the ride so to speak 🤣 Liberty managed to bring a lot into it, ensuring it flowed through with purpose and gave us the right amount of yuk! along with spice.

Talk about twin manipulation that has gone wrong odellia really thought she was really going to keep getting over only oddie after 8 years like my God I was so glad when Brett came into the picture that he really helped oldie conquer that ultimate fear of her sister because that needed to be done and the way they got her on the stage and did all that to her with the hooks and stuff oh it was brilliant I loved it loved it and when her and Brett finally finally got to have their have a relationship all the way yes I'm here for this they way he helped oddie open up a little bit was so good about everything that happened to her on the past 8 years and this was brilliant crazy sexy everything and it was a 10

This is the 30th novella is the series. As always, check the trigger warnings if you feel necessary. Some of the tropes include bondage, gore, degradation, and more. This is centered around Odelia and Odette, our third set of twins for the series. We also meet Brett, a visitor to the Carnivale. He is quickly intrigued with the twins. The spice here was so good! L.M. Stone did an amazing job at giving us a completely unhinged story!

I love me a good revenge arc, and this absolutely delivered. Oddie's story was heartbreaking, but that ending was exactly what I wanted.
Short, dark and incredibly satisfying. Another fantastic addition to the Carnival.

I enjoyed this story as well! Another set of twins joins the Carnivale, this time Odelia and Odette. Like so many of the Carnivale crew, they carry the scars of past trauma that have led them to become part of this twisted world. Their story brings a unique twist to the series and adds yet another fascinating layer to the ever-growing Colony Carnivale. I love seeing how each new character brings something different to the table.

Odette and Odelia have an interesting relationship and dynamic that will make you end up hating one over the other! Some of this story seemed a little predictable, but it was good!! Lots of blood, gore and a twist at the end!!

Book 30 of The Colony Carnivale. This is Odette and Odelia’s story. These two are twins sister and we get to see what brought them to the Colony. These two have an interesting relationship and things get serious as the story goes on. Brett comes to the Carnivale with only one thing on his mind. This book had gore and a twist at the end.

You know why I love L.M. Stone’s books? Because you can always expect the unexpected, and this one was no different. When I finished, I was pretty much questioned my sanity. But oh boy, did I enjoy every deeply disturbing minute of this book!
Maladapted is dark, bloody, twisted, and completely fucking unhinged. It made me angry, uncomfortable, heartbroken, turned on, and slightly concerned about how much I enjoyed the chaos.
The characters are deeply damaged, morally nonexistent, and absolutely perfect for the Colony Carnivale. Their connection is one enormous red flag wrapped in trauma, obsession, violence, and filthy spice..... and somehow, it just fucking works.
The carnival atmosphere was deliciously sinister, the darker scenes were brutal and impossible to look away from, and the story kept pulling me deeper into its madness. This was one beautifully fucked-up trip to the carnival, and I loved every bloody second!
Please check the trigger warnings because this one gets HEAVY.

We now get the story of Odette and Odelia. I'm not even sure how to truly describe the ruthlessness to the degradation. Maybe it's just more intense, seeming because it deals with sisters. An incident when they were younger had them running to the Carnivale. However, Odelia began showing her true feelings and temperant. Crazy stuff, seeing how much she actually needs her to succeed at the Carnivale. You'll probably feel angry and heartbroken at the very least, but no one's been the wiser.
Brett is out looking for something specific. I'm not too sure what started him on that quest besides the not really feeling much pain and seemingly having the inability to die. He isn't the last volunteer for the Carnivale. However, he is to be a replacement for breaking a rule. These two worlds collide, and the collision is explosive. It's probably the most gruesome yet beautiful display. It truly had me remembering one particular scene from Vikings. Off to the last one!

Maladapted leans hard into the twisted side of the Colony.
The atmosphere is rich and sensory, the tension never lets up, and the blend of erotic heat and genuine horror works perfectly. I flew through this one and was completely absorbed.
Short, powerful, and definitely one of the stronger books in this stretch of the series.
