OMG HANDS DOWN ONE OF MY FAVORITE DARK ROMCOMS OF 2026!!

OMG I absolutely love Kinsley Kincaid's dark romcom era and hope she continues on with more!! Her mind is a wickedly fun place that delivers in this second book so double check TW beforehand and read responsibly!!

If you were a fan of book 1 and thought no way can book 2 top the insanely unhinged addictive characters of Parker & Holden well my friend think again because book 2 blows book 1 right out the water and is now my new favorite!!

What can you expect in this one well for starters it picks right up where book 1 ended on that wild cliffhanger. We follow Parker now as the hunted instead of the hunter. Holden may or may not become part of the dynamic duo of the boy wonders group as he frantically searches for Parker. Holden may or may not have caught feelings for his little hunter/victim and now finds himself in uncharted waters of dealing with others for help and of course Mr. Carlisle will be his voice or reasoning at times as well. Parker is her normal inappropriately hilarious self while trying to navigate her new situation she has found herself in now, and hoping her guys will find her before she meets her end in the twisted game that blood sport agency likes to play. So expect wildly addictive deranged characters, hilarious inappropriate humor, dark themes, depraved spice, oh so sweet revenge, found family vibes, possibly some rescued fur babies and a HEA that makes you laugh & smile and want more.

Buckle up because this one is chalked full of twists and turns with tons of laughs along the way in this darker spicier romcom!! Holden & Parker will be bringing the laughs, spice, banter, and gory revenge. A DEFINITE MUST READ FOR 2026!!

Wow. Full steam ahead from the start. I was thrusted straight into the chaos…and I’m not sad about it.
For a moment there, I forgot how unhinged Parker is. Ooops. Her insane spiral yet again, had me spiralling alongside her.

Then the first peek at Holden? Straight in with it with Mr Carlisle. Oh how I have missed their bickering.

Ok so this is my favourite quote.
“I truly don’t give a shit. And the word be-queath being so casually used is something I find revolting, it is far too familiar with another word, which, fun fact, translates to a vagina fart”. I. AM. HOWLING.

This was a truly chaotic ride reading this. I found myself questioning what the hell is going on, laughing out loud and in a complete tizzy over it all.

Parker really knows how to get herself in a pickle and her own commentary is utterly bizarre yet totally believable. Tell me you have adhd without telling me you have ADHD!

I love love LOVE that Holden relinquishes some of his control, just for her, obviously but it really is everything to see it.

So in a nutshell, I don’t know if I’m about to rub-a-dub-nub or check myself in…somewhere!! This was truly an epic read.

Kinsley you never fail me. Parker and Holdens conclusion was pure chaos and I loved it!

Parker & Holdens inner dialogue that wasn’t so much in their head as they thought.
Mr.Carlise always the voice of reason and quick wit.
Tac and Conbon Boi Wonders 💀 iyktyk.
Poor Holden was literally one second away from a mental breakdown with all the chaos everyone brought into his life 😂 I just know he was overstimulated throughout this whole book lmaoo.

I’m sad to say goodbye to these characters they are some of my favs, but this was a perfectly chaotic ending to their story.

Thank you Kinsley for the arc, you wrote another amazing book and I enjoyed it so much 🖤

An action packed book that is a duet to her fist!! So grateful for the opportunity to ARC. This enemies to lovers is a slow burn but it’s well written and much more fast paced than most slow burns!!! Also very much enjoy that both our mains are morally grey and I have always loved a dark romcom! Get your hands on this book, no spoilers here, but just know you will love it! Especially if you liked book 1, this is just an extension of the already amazing work of Kinsley.
