fake dating..

I started as fake dating a way to get back at her ex who dumped her at a party. Dani hadn’t known Natalie’s sister Liza had been in love with her for 4 years when she came up with the plan to get back at Natalie. Now there were all kinds of complications.

If you're afraid of forgetting details of the story along the way, don't worry! At least a quarter of the book are just repetitions and drawbacks to what was mentionned and said before, multiple times. It's like the book was just made from chapters published weekly, which needed a reminder of what happened. I know what happened honey, I read it 2 pages ago!!
Moreover, there are several instances where the characters viewpoints were switched, in the middle of a chapter, which makes it confusing for a bit. Then you try seeing it from the other woman's side and it clicks.
Regarding the steamy scenes, excluding the locations, the positions and performance were all very similars.
The story is okay, the wording is readable. I stopped enjoying it at around 75% of the book but kept reading in spite of that, because I had to finish it.

Holy cow! The tension that Dani doesn’t feel or even the gazes from Liza, phew! The dating between them starts as a revenge move against Natalie. The moment and scene that Dani realizes it’s not fake to Liza is priceless and how fast they burn for each other is delicious. The hot scenes could scorch the sheets, ruining them and loving it. There is so much depth to Liza that it’s amazing no one took the time to learn this about her. This was a rollercoaster of huge feelings that slowly emerged and turned from fake to real. The journey was emotional and sometimes heartbreaking. I’m still left speechless and love these 2 FMCs. Wow!

Great story

This was a sweet story about misunderstandings and hurt feelings that spiral out of control before ultimately leading to a satisfying happy ending. The dual POV flows smoothly and keeps the story engaging. My only criticism is the number of inconsistencies throughout the text. At times, sentences within the same chapter contradict each other, the narration references dialogue that never occurred, or the speaker changes unexpectedly within a chapter. These editing issues were distracting, but I still enjoyed the story overall.
