Just a small disclaimer, I've never read the first book (in fact, I wasn't even aware there was a first book when I first bought it), so this may be a bit of an unfair review, but most of my criticisms don't really have anything to do with the story, so I'll carry on anyway (that said, I did add a quarter as compensation).
First of all, the good. The art was adorable and I don't have much criticism about it besides that one odd-looking yellow outline bit on the first panel in page 131, among a few other things. But overall, it looks very nice. Also spoiler: . The Greek mythology references were also neat.
One thing I can't understand, though, is how the . So the griffin isn't really as intimidating as it should've been.
Also the entire first chapter felt a bit unnecessary. Actually no, the entire chapter could've been deleted from the comic and nothing would've changed, because the dream never comes up in the future. The only thing it really did was slow me down and delay me from reading the actual story. But at least the ending was good to compensate.
Anyway that's my review. I won't be reading the first book, but this was entertaining, I guess.

🥬 💜🧡 Tiny Hercules Golden Cabbage Chaos By Jon Lock and Nich Angell. Published by MacMillan Children’s Books 🧡💜🥬
💜 We are back with more laugh-out-loud hilarity with Tiny Hercules Golden Cabbage Chaos, as Hercules continues on his second of twelve legendary tasks to win his way back to Tiny Olympus. Tiny Zeus banished him in book one for crashing his parties. If you’ve not read book one, you need to check out Swan Zeus, who really made us laugh A LOT!
🧡 There are new characters in Golden Cabbage Chaos: Grifflet, Minidusa and Tinytaur. This tiny trio try to stop Hercules from finding the elusive golden cabbage. What made us giggle was how Hercules had grown too used to Earth and was lazy and lethargic after watching too much TV and eating too many snacks. Jeff, is still a chart loving nerd 🤓 and resents Hercules quite often. After lots of fails, some horrendous singing and plenty of cringe moments, Hercules and Jeff unite to try and save the day. Will they succeed? You’ll have to read to find out…
🥬 Reg, of Reg’s Veg, is also a super shady character who cons the public into buying his not so fresh produce. There is definitely something suspicious about this cabbage loving con man…
Here is what my nine-year-old had to say about the book:
😆 It was very silly and very funny, making me have some epic laughs. Tiny Hercules is my favourite because he is sooooo funny and thinks punching will solve everything. By the way Hercules, I don’t think this is correct. Read this book if you enjoy adventure and books full of laughs. Spray painting a cabbage was fun too. 🤣
💝 I received this book for free, but this is an honest review.
