A boy wakes up in a cabin. He barely remembers his name. All he knows is that he cannot stay there and he needs to leave. Then a door appears and the boy doesn't hesitate to go through it.

The boy, who remembers that his name is Noah, realizes he is the stranger in a strange land and that he needs to remember who he is, to learn out how to return home, and to figure out how and why he can open doors into the Void. Noah learns that he is in a place called Dream Else and that if he wants to remember who he is and how to return to his world, then he needs to find a mysterious man named Sebastian. From there these "outsiders" must find a source which could restore their memories...for better or for worse.

This is the first book by this author I've read and I was not disappointed. Now, I need to read his other books (including his adult ones)!
