Well This Was Very Different
Dr. Alani Brooks is the esteemed principal of Westbrook Middle School. She is sharp, precise and tactful to say the least. During the day she solved problems no one else seems to and by night she’s a completely different more complex person than the principal that runs an entire school full of staff and students. No one in her work life knows the other part of her she keeps hidden however when someone comes searching for things they shouldn’t, she has to keep things airtight so nothing slips. Nia is a great protégé learning what she can and doing what is asked of her. When certain ppl start to get too close she has a bit of a dilemma on her hands. Nothing gets past Alani or Ether for that matter although she lets them believe otherwise. She definitely played the two men who thought they had my girl all figured out. That cliffhanger baby Rays all I’m gonna say. Monique Love you definitely did your thing hang writing this book here. Five start read and I can’t wait for book 2 😊

Powerful and Addictive! Drama, secrets, and nonstop tension delivered into a unique, fast-paced storyline.
Dr. Alani Brooks is a BOSS! She’s smart, calculated, fearless, and handled business no matter what came her way. Watching her navigate power, control, and chaos while staying ten steps ahead made this book hard to put down. She was strong, complex, and definitely a standout character.
Monique Love did an amazing job creating a story full of suspense, deception, and intensity. If you enjoy books with strong characters and a storyline that keeps you hooked, this one is definitely worth the read!
