I stumbled across this story while looking for stories set around Easter time. This was a fictitious look at Good Friday from the perspective of a woman who had followed Jesus. It ends on Good Friday, with a hint that this really isn't the end. I think it would make great reading on Good Friday.
Please note: as of the time I write this review, the author's Goodreads page is a mess and has a very inappropriate story attached that is not by the same author, but by someone with the same name. I'm trying to get it removed but please be away if you see it that it is NOT by the same author.
This is the story of a girl who follows Jesus and realizes the extent of His love. It is very simple and genuine, and that really adds to the depth of emotion upwelling in and from it.
