garbled, or I missed the point
I got 35% through this very long book before giving up. There is muddled counting throughout. Nothing is explained. The book could be about failed bureaucracy, or about self-repairing systems. But it refused to explain. It seemed to disagree with the previous two books, which I read immediately prior.
I liked that this is a different approach to LitRPG, but it has been, for me, a thoroughly frustrating read. Or not-read.
