Ok... so I did not read this book because I wanted to, It was for the school.
I liked the story, like it was ok, it was interesting to know all the myths an all the beliefs. But what I think ruined the whole book, was the way it was written. There were a lot of strange names, and the way it was written definitely made it more difficult to understand.

Interesting work, it is not a "light" reading but rather an enjoyable mental exercise in keeping up with the characters' names, places, generational passage of time and symbolism.

"Recordamos a los Señores del K'iche'".

I especially think people will find a natural source of inspiration in how two brothers can defeat the Underworld Rulers with the help of the tiniest animals
