Interesting premise but somehow unsatisfying in the execution. Her teenage heroines always seem to be very oblivious.

Well this was...unexpected. Definitely less formulaic than most of these books, the protagonist has either a mild mental illness and/or some type of weak psychic ability and it's written in a dreamy style that appears to mirror Blythe's condition (she's sent to boarding school after she continually wanders away from school and the book deals primarily with her relationships with her roommates and a townie boy she might have been meant to meet).

A bit different, and worth reading.
