My father owed a debt he couldn't pay. So he paid it with my life.
Sofia The Marchetti name used to mean something. Now it means debt. The kind paid in blood or in daughters. Riccardo Valenti didn't ask for a bride. He demanded a trophy. A living reminder that he crushed my family and took what was left. He's cold, calculating, and cruel in ways that don't leave bruises. He expects me to play the dutiful wife. Smile for the cameras. Sleep in his bed. Pretend I don't hate him. But hatred is a funny thing. It burns hot. And so does he. I was supposed to be his prisoner. I was never supposed to be his weakness.
Captive Bride is a spicy dark mafia enemies-to-lovers romance featuring a forced marriage, a possessive anti-hero, and a heroine who refuses to kneel.
This was so hot and spicy. Sophia wasn’t anything more than a debt. A wife Ricardo didn’t want but took anyway. The back and forth between them had me turning the pages. Great twists and turns, they really kept me invested. And in loved the way these two came crashing together. This was a really good read.
