French writer, author of mysteries and horror stories, he won the prestigious award "Prix du Quai des Orfèvres" 2010 for his novel "Au pays des ombres".
He began his career as a novelist under a pen name : Gilles Bergal, this pen name was used mainly to publish horror and fantasy stories.
Published both by the main french publishers (Belfond, Flammarion, Fleuve Noir, France Loisirs...) and as an Indie, he recently created his own company under the name "Objectif Noir" to e-publish all of his backlist, and some new titles also. In 2015, his e-books will be available as POD books through several channels.
Since this creation, he sold more than 11 000 e-books, which is a huge amount for the small french market (where the main publishers say they have a best-seller when they sell more than 100 copies !).
Now retired, Gilbert Gallerne is able to write full time and is glad to announce some new titles coming soon.
