Lorsqu’il succombe à la torture en perdant connaissance quelques secondes après sa déclaration, me voilà encore une fois en proie à mes questions incessantes. Est-ce que je rêve ? Ou plutôt, est-ce un cauchemar ?
Mais je n’ai pas le temps de démêler mes sentiments, car je dois lui sauver la vie pour avoir une chance de découvrir si c’est réel. Son corps est meurtri, brisé. Il va me falloir toutes mes compétences pour le remettre sur pattes.

This series deserves some sort of prize, goshhh.
Okay so, I wasn’t a big fan of the book in the beginning. I really didn’t like Lucien and that lasted till probably the middle maybe even close to ending bits.
He was just so hot and cold, it gave me whiplash I swear.
And Oli is just too sweet for this world, and I do agree with Lucien (here’s we he def got some points back) where he made the point that Oli is under appreciated in the pack.
Though this wasn’t my favorite of the series, in the end I did enjoy the book, I love, with all of them, how protective the males are to the females. It just makes me feel so bubbly inside. And both their stories molded work well, and my heart went out for both of their pasts.
And I love Oli’s character and how in tuned with nature she is and genuinely kind she is too. She’s a flower that bloomed in the desert.
With Lucien’s character it gave a nice change of speed where the male was actually self conscious about his looks, instead of vice versa. With the regular add of “I don’t deserve her.” And I truly think he did love her, trauma is just a road block man.
And they took it and what was on the other side was perfect.
Also I think I’m with a few people that Shay and Dirge should get there own, at least, a small novella about their time in the fae court.
But finally.. OH. MY. GOSH. That ending. The final epilogue had me screaming. I’m so distraught right now. And it’s going to be very hard to wait for the last installment, I think I’m gonna reread this series at least twice before then.
For I think I could put this series at the top of my list as my favorite this year💋💋

I definitely enjoyed this book more than the previous one, particularly because it had more of the “main story” and not just romance. I did feel some parts were rushed, but genuinely was entertained for the most part.
My biggest issue was the editing. Spelling/grammar errors happen, but this one even had syntax out of order enough that it was noticeable enough to annoy me.
Otherwise I’m looking forward to the next book!

I got an ARC copy from the author, but this is my honest opinion and review.

I found this to be more heavy on the main plot than the previous books, which is not necessarily a bad thing, as the plot is interesting.
However, because the focus was so much on the plot, I felt the main couple a bit distant. I loved the characters and their interactions and would’ve liked to read even more about them and their relationship.
Nicely fast paced and I’m so excited to see how this adventure ends and can’t wait for the final book in the series!

I have really loved this series and was so eager to read Lucien and Olivia's story. It did not disappoint! The trope of beast/bad boy and healer is one of my favorites and April Moon really nailed it with this one. At times, I felt Olivia needed to stand her ground a little more with Lucien, but this all worked out in the end. I also wouldn't really call this a "slow burn"...there was really just too much going on in this book for us to wait around for the romance to start romancing. This book sees greater world building, introducing us to a number of magical species. I was slightly concerned that this would feel cheesy or rushed as these books tend to read fast. In fact, this was probably my favorite part of the book--I instantly connected to these characters and was left wanting more. I am optimistically wondering if there may be some future spinoffs with the centaurs! This continues to one of the best shifter and alpha/omega series out there. I cannot wait to see how this wraps up!

This Book killed the series
It was okay. I prefer other books by this author better. I really had a hard time liking the main characters in this book. The " hot- cold" passive aggressive male character and the " oh that's okay I can wait" attitude of the female character just didn't interest me. I didn't care if they ever became mates.
I don't like " end of the world quest saga " books but the trips looking for the shard pieces and the other creatures were the best part of the book.
I think I am done with this series. This book killed the series for me.

This was longer than it needed to be, and yet also too packed with things happening and no time to breathe. The plot is convoluted and feels like a push to get more page turns on KU. Having been a big fan of this authors work in the past, this was very disappointing. Won't be continuing with the series.

1.5 Stars - DNF @ 70%
I thought this would be great but I am left feeling so disappointed. This series has been a bit hit or miss for me, but I appreciate how well the overarching omega plotline has continued through each book. It's clear the author thoughtfully planned this series!! This main issue I had with this isn't really the plot, but both of our MCs.
When reading the other books I found Lucien to be super intriguing - kind of a mysterious bad boy? I don't know if I completely misread him previously, but he is nothing like that in this. Instead he comes off as weak and whiney. He isn't sure of himself, and is just a bit of a mess. So much of this book is just Lucien pushing Olivia away for the most absurd reasons, and she just lets him walk all over her. Their relationship comes off as toxic and super frustrating to read. Even the spicy scenes are hard for me to read because I get such a bad feeling about the two of them being together - it's just a bit gross. Lucien comes off as a gross playboy, and Olivia is this complete innocent. I don't even usually mind that trope (playboy//innocent), but it doesn't work here for some reason.
As I mentioned, Olivia was just as unlikable because she didn't have much of a personality. She lets Lucien treat her like garbage, and just forgives him for no reason. They don't have a strong base to their relationship - it's entirely this supernatural mates connection so I never bought into the two of them being good for one another.
I couldn't finish this because in the end I was bored and disturbed. The back and forth of their relationship was so overdone, and I stopped caring about the omega shard quest thing. Even if I liked the relationship, I think the writing could have been a bit cleaner. There were too many unnecessary interactions/descriptions.

After I finished reading the SECOND epilogue, I let out an ungodly screech because the next book doesn’t come out until MARCH 2026!!😭😭😭 I’m going to have to actively work to forget April L. Moon and our fated omegas exist for the next sixish months otherwise I will lose my mind. I really enjoyed the pacing of this book, there was a great balance between the overall plot and the romance between Olivia and Lucien. I appreciate this because sometimes romantasy series can lose that balance in the last books. But holy cliff hanger Batman!!!! Narcissa being ALIVE?? My sweet, sweet Elodie being zapped by the omega stone?
Ms. Moon, if you see this we NEED the Dirge and Shay in the fairy realm novella!! I’m also officially starting my one woman campaign for Wheelie and Tork’s love story to be written. I’m sure I’ll come back with a more eloquent review once my mind is done exploding but The Fated Omegas is one of my favorite series of 2025 so I just needed to get these emotions off my chest and into the reviews void.

Ever since the epilogue in book 4, I knew I’d love Lucien and Olivia’s story. And I was totally right. This quickly has become my favorite book of the series so far.
I loved how Lucien and Olivia make each other stronger, even when he keeps on pushing her away. Their connection feels real and powerful. The story is action-packed, full of different places and supernatural species. I especially enjoyed finally learning more about Olivia’s gift and the way goblins were written. I enjoyed this great addition to the worldbuilding.
Olivia is the heroine I’ve do far felt closest to in the series. Her mix of strength, goodness and vulnerability really stood out. April L. Moon keeps up her amazing work with this book: it’s emotional, fast-paced, and completely captivating.
Highly recommend reading the series in order. If you enjoyed the first four books, you’ll definitely love this one too.

Fated to the Scarred Wolf is a good, emotionally charged fifth instalment, one that digs deeper into the heart of Pack Blackwater while pushing the wider plot toward its breaking point.
Olivia is such a lovely character. Generally shy, gentle, and soft‑spoken, yet the moment she steps into her healer role, she shines with confidence and purpose. Her loyalty and huge heart make her instantly endearing, and it’s easy to see why she becomes such a grounding force in this story.
Lucian is deeply damaged, by his past, and honestly by his present too. He’s scarred inside and out, hesitant to let anyone close, and terrified of hurting Olivia. But beneath all that pain is a genuinely good man. Watching him slowly, cautiously let her in is one of the most rewarding emotional arcs in the series.
The overarching storyline tightens beautifully here. Threads start to weave together, answers begin to surface, and the tension ramps up. It feels like everything is building toward something massive. The war omega has awakened… and the next book is clearly where everything is going to explode.
A heartfelt, intense instalment that blends romance, healing, and rising danger and sets the stage for the series’ biggest confrontation yet.

God I love this series and Lucian and Olivia did not disappoint! I swear I could read 20 of these. I care about all of these characters so much. It sounds like the next one is our last couple but hopefully we get a multi POV book after that. The overarching storyline is just so good. And the relationships are all so special. At this point April has become an auto buy author for me.

Keeping up with the series as it comes out! The author definitely has a format for her books and I need her to bring back girl power, I’m sick of this “protect the females” bs, I want these girls to FIGHT. That being said, I think the next book will be more that speed so I’m looking forward to it.

I’ve really enjoyed this series and was looking forward to this new release and was thrilled to receive an ARC from the author. This is the fifth book in the series and while each book has it’s own couple, there is an overarching storyline and the books need to be read in order. This wasn’t my favorite of the series and I feel like some of the plot was rushed to fit into this book and competed with the romance instead of complemented it. I do enjoy getting updates about my favorite couples from previous books throughout the story but some of reveals feel like they could have been another book and not just a brief appearance. Regardless, I am looking forward to the final book release.

I loved every book in this series, and this is no exception! I was graciously allowed to read an ARC edition (Thank you!!) and can't wait to read more by April L. Moon! Get ready for more information about the lovely wolf family not by blood but friendship, and a few new surprises along the way. The next book cannot come fast enough.

I started, and literally just finished, reading my advanced reader copy (ARC) today and I’ve come straight here to review.
This is the fifth in a six book series, and I have loved them all, but I think this one is my favourite so far. The series is easy to read (hours rather than days!) but this book is particularly fast paced, full of action (probably to be expected now we’re only one book from the end 😢) & it hits all the emotions.
I’m feeling a little bereft now it’s finished & I hope I don’t have to wait too long for the final instalment!
Well worth a read but definitely start with book 1, while each book has a happily ever after (HEA) the fated mates story each book focuses is only part of the bigger overarching storyline.

Fated to the Scarred Wolf is the 5th (and penultimate) book of the Hunted Omegas series. There's a good chunk of action in this book during the second half in particular, but it was the emotional moments that really struck me. The push and pull between Olivia and Lucien made me tear up multiple times. I know that every couple gets a HEA in this series, but it still tugged at my heartstrings along the way!
I find this series so comforting, despite all the trauma that the characters seem to go through (so I'm not sure what that says about me as a person). I don't think I'm ready for the next book to be the last in the series! I'll be sad to see it end but I'm sure it'll be a massive finale!

This was SO angsty
There's so much emotional turmoil between the two main characters. A lot happens in this book plotwise, and I'm very curious to see where this goes. Lots of trauma the MMCs have to work through to be together. There were times I found the MMC a little shallow, obsessed with his physical appearance. Also sometimes I wished the FMC would grow a stronger backbone.
Overall, I found this book pretty entertaining and basically read it in one sitting 😅
However, the previous 4 books in this series must be read to understand this book.

Oli is sensitive and selfless while still being strong and growing into her badass powers. Lucien has been through so much trauma that he can’t believe he deserves the blessing of Oli in his life. I loved both of them, even if it could be frustrating each time they had a setback, in the long run it built a strong bond. So much more lore about the world and the other species in this one was interesting too. Can’t wait for the final installment but March feels so far away and I adore Elodie, I know my girl is about to put up a hard fight for Valens.

I actually really like this couple, I didn't think I would, but here we are, with me shipping them hardcore. Our next match seems really problematic, and the second epilogue is gonna scare the hell out of you if you've been along for the whole series.

5th book in The Hunted Omegas series. Fated mates, Virginity trope. Past traumas & healing. Swoon worthy declarations of love. Readability is top tier! I love this whole series. It’s so good! Love the found family & continued story. Completely bingable! So sad I have to wait for the 6th book.
