Marooned: The Archipelago Series

Rate this book
After inheriting her aunt’s isolated cabin on a remote Baltic island, Clara arrives expecting a quiet escape and a chance to rebuild her life.

Instead, she finds no working heat, no signal, and a dangerously controlled man who wants her gone.

Stellan Vinter owns the island and decides everything that happens on the island

Cold, stranded, and running out of options, Clara reluctantly accepts his help while trying to ignore the growing tension between them. But the longer she stays on the island, the harder it becomes to tell where survival ends, and obsession begins. Because Stellan doesn’t just want control of the island. He wants control of her.

As winter closes in, Clara becomes trapped in a relationship that is as intoxicating as it is dangerous. But the island holds secrets tied to her aunt, and getting too close to Stellan may cost her far more than her freedom.

Marooned is a dark Nordic romance featuring forced proximity, emotional obsession, possessive themes, dominance and submission, and a morally gray hero.

I was part of the ARC team for Undertow, and I immediately read this one after. I think Undertow was the stronger book, but both books are great and I can’t wait for the next book in this standalone series.

I really enjoyed this book by Signe Torvik. I was part of her ARC team. It’s a dark romance with alot of spice, and it’s good stuff. I am already reading her second book that just came out. It was surprisingly fun and deep, and I fell in love with Clara, the FMC, who was such a spunky character.
