Well, she did it again! I have said it before but I will read anything Rose writes. She knows how to make a story suspenseful with twists and turns all the way through.
This is book two in the Girls Week series and I loved it.
I absolutely love this group of girls. They have the best friendships and their “Ride or Die” attitude is amazing! They are fierce, strong, determined and exactly what I would want from a sisterhood.
If you love a good suspenseful story with kidnappings, police investigations, trafficking, bonds that can’t be broken, sacrifices and new lives with some twists, then I suggest you pick up book one and then run and get this one in your hands.
This is book two in the Girls Week series and I loved it.

I absolutely love this series. Chasing Shadows picks up where Chasing Charlie ended. Charlie, Sam, Emma, and Lena are back home from their vacation, and the trouble they had in Panama City has followed them home. This book is full of suspense, sisterhood, and found family. It's a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat and wondering what comes next.
Rose has done an amazing job writing these books, and I can't wait to see what the next one brings. Chasing Shadows is a five-star read and a book I will recommend to anyone who loves a good mystery, thriller.

Chasing Shadows-Girls’ Week is a gripping story that follows the highly ranked masterpiece, Chasing Charlie-Girls’ Week.
Once back in Seaside, the girls Charlie, Sam, Emma and Lena are immediately met with strange occurrences. Their feelings are raw as they are still trying to overcome the despicable events that took place in Panama City. Hopes were high that coming home would be the one thing that helped them get back to a normal life. Unfortunately, they are stunned to see that the terror isn’t over.
The girls find out how strong they are as they courageously plan to fight the man responsible for their kidnapping. Brate introduces you to additional characters who will also capture your heart.
I’ve read every book that Rose M Brate wrote and loved them all. Each book was granted a five star review from me. All books contain plot twists that have you turning pages as quickly as possible. I highly recommend that you pick up her books as soon as possible as you will be amazed by her skilled storytelling.

What makes this book stand out is that the heart of the story isn't just the danger. It's the friendship. These women have a bond that feels authentic, and their fierce loyalty to one another gives this thriller real emotional weight. They may have survived unimaginable trauma, but they refuse to stay victims. Watching them face the darkness together was every bit as satisfying as the suspense itself.
Every time these women tried to reclaim some sense of normal life, the suspense came crashing back. The pacing is relentless in the best possible way, and more than once I found myself saying, "Just one more chapter," only to realize an hour had gone by.
Rose has a gift for keeping readers on edge while making them genuinely care about her characters. The ending left me desperate for the next book, and I will be first in line to read it. If you love suspense that keeps your heart racing and characters you'll gladly root for, this series is an easy five stars.

Queen of Thriller Books!
The prologue hooks you in. It sets the tone for the entire book. The tension starts here and does not let up util the very last page. I think I forgot to blink while reading this amazing thriller book.
The author is a clever writer. She makes you think that you are safe. Then . . . Wham! Shight hits the fan. I loved Charle's transformation. She went from a victim to a predator. I am always a sucker for a strong female character.
Freida McFadden has been dethroned as the Queen of thriller books. There is a new Queen in town and her name is Rose M. Brate. If you do not believe me, then you have not read Chasing Shadows.
I highly recommend this book. Ten stars for me. What are you waiting for? Grab a copy today!
