If you are looking for your next sports romance obsession, stop scrolling because Offstage & On Ice completely stole my heart! 🛼✨
A pop star and a hockey captain forced into a fake PR relationship? Sign me up! But what started as a public stunt turned into something so incredibly sweet, deep, and genuine.
What made this a 5-star read for me was the thoughtful, attentive romance and the incredible character development. Mason is absolute top-tier book boyfriend material—the post-it note communication between them was adorable, but the way he paid attention to the tiny details? Remembering her favorite color, her favorite flowers, and always showing up for her in the quietest, most thoughtful ways... my heart just melted! 🥹💐
Both Blake and Mason have such a beautiful emotional arc throughout the story. Watching them heal, lower their guards, and truly see each other past all the public noise felt so real and earned. The grumpy x sunshine, forced proximity, and "he falls first" tropes were executed to perfection.
Courtney Sian created something truly special with the Vancouver Vipers universe. I am officially obsessed and I seriously CANNOT WAIT to read the next book in the series! 🏒🎤

Im obsessed! The main characters growth throughout the book was beautiful, the subtle trauma and the subtle show of love felt like sprinkles of pure magic.
Romance doesnt always need to be the over the top grand gestures, or the lavish gifts, this book shows and celebrates the small stuff. The squeeze of a hand to show support, the stroke of a thumb across a back to show comfort.
Mason the LI is top tier book boyfriend material! Leaving post it notes on the doors to communicate was sweet, but Masons colour change of his post it notes? That man's in in deep!
The whole world wanted to put Blake down, but theres a bunch of characters in this book that saw through the lies and the touch exterior Blake puts up, and saw *her* and those moments where someone saw threw to her soul and saw her? Perfection.
Although there is alot of pain within the characters, theres also so much light hearted banter, so many laughs to be had, even if i did cry at chapter 20 👀
I cannot wait for book 2, and 3, and you know what, do the whole team keep them rolling im here for it!

A thoroughly enjoyable book, with the sweetest characters! I was invested in the characters and their chemistry as soon as I was introduced to them and they were introduced to each other!

The connection between Blake and Mason is unmatched. Their chemistry was absolutely sizzling from the moment they first saw each other, making their journey so addictive to read.🥵
But what truly made this book special for me was the emotional depth. It is a beautiful reminder of how the right person can completely change your life for the better.👩❤️👨
Mason and Blake give each other the strength to heal, find their power, and overcome their hardest times together.🎤🏒

This book completely pulled me in from the very first chapter! The plot was incredibly well developed, with just the right amount of tension building between the main characters. Their chemistry felt natural, and I loved watching their relationship slowly unfold.
The slow-burn romance kept me hooked, and every interaction between the characters had me wanting more. The pacing was perfect, balancing emotional moments, romance, and the overall storyline beautifully.
I couldn’t put this book down and found myself thinking about it long after I finished. If you love tropes like forced proximity, fake dating, grumpy x sunshine, or he falls first, you’re going to have an amazing time with this book.

This was a necessary book for me, ever since Taylor and Travis, I’ve been dying for a PopStar x Sports MMC romance, and Courtney made it happens, this being her first novel, she has so much potential as a writer and deserves a chance
We start the story of Blake, a pop star that it’s know for her bad reputation (thanks to her ex) and of Mason the captain of the Vipers hockey team, that has the good guy reputation, this that started as a PR relationship ends up on Blake and Mason having their own mental battles and finally realizing they are what the other needed

I loved this book. The characters were warm and sweet and funny. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. I’m very much hoping for more from Courtney as I’m intrigued by the side characters as well as obsessed with Blake and Mason!

When I found Courtney on booktok and heard about her book I immediately knew I would love it. This is such a cute fake dating story.
I absolutely adored the Vipers hockey team and can’t wait to see who we read about next because I’m well and truly OBSESSED.
The grumpy x sunshine trope mixed with a fake dating PR scandal is just perfect. Blake Sinclair is an absolute icon and Mason Cole is just a hockey player in the form of a golden retriever but they are utterly perfect for each other.
