Delilah Spencer is a rolling stone. A big city attorney from Chicago on a temporary work assignment in Sunflower, Montana.
Ranger Beckham’s Sunflower roots run deep. Three generations to be exact. The high school band director and single father is adrift, fresh out of a marriage of convenience. He's all but given up on finding true love.
Until he bumps into Delilah, the fixer with trust issues who has a hard and fast rule: never get attached to the places she visits or the people in them. They strike a deal when the chemistry between them burns too hot to ignore, convincing themselves they'll be able to part as friends when Delilah's gig is up, no matter how scorching things get between them.
But the slower pace in tight-knit Sunflower is a balm for Delilah's restless soul, and it becomes impossible to imagine leaving Ranger or Montana behind.
Will Delilah break her own rules and finally put down roots, or will she cut and run when her contract is up, leaving Ranger and the life she never knew she wanted in the rearview mirror?

he cutest story of Delilah and Ranger in a small town named Sunflower. She’s a traveling lawyer and only in town for a little bit. Delilah arrives just as Ranger is getting a divorce. However, they hit it off immediately. I love her rule of saying yes to the first 3 invitations she receive when staying somewhere!!! So cute! And Ranger is the MAN!!! I adore how he stepped up for Lucy even when she wasn’t his. 🥹 I literally loved every thing about him!!! Then as the months passed their connection kept growing. I adored this story so much!!!!

3.5 Stars- This was a sweet romance with a wonderful male lead. There was definitely some spice but I wanted more to happen in this novel. I also had trouble getting behind Dahlia's decisions and felt a little frustrated at times with her.
Dahlia is an attorney from Chicago who travels a lot for work. She finds herself in Sunflower, Montana to fill in for a local attorney. Dahlia is dealing with some personal issues. Her father has Alzheimers and she is trying to learn to trust again after her ex. She meets Ranger, the local band teacher, and sparks fly. The two of them think they can have a friends with benefits relationship because Dahlia is only in Sunflower for a certain amount of time. However their chemistry has other ideas.
This was cute and a little predictable. I don't mind predictable in a romance as long as I get a good story. I really liked Ranger and thought he was an interesting character. I did not agree with many of Dahlia's decisions and wanted more from her although I fully support her fear of spiders. It did take me a little while to get into this book but I do think the romance was spot on. I also enjoyed the setting. Overall, if you like romances I do think you would enjoy this book, just be prepared for a slower pace.
Thank you to Hesse Creek Media and NetGalley for this ARC.

This was such a cute, sweet, cozy, small town romance! This was the perfect read to finish September with. This gave me all the fall cozy vibes.
Ranger is the absolute best green flag MMC. I adored him!
I really enjoyed the development of Ranger and Delilah’s relationship and appreciated how mature they both were. I love a romance story that includes communication and honesty!
You’re going to want to read this book curled up in a blanket with a cup of coffee or tea.

I love a good duet audiobook! It really makes the story more immersive. These two narrators did not disappoint...and the pretend fake accent at the end had me rolling.
This story was cute, sweet, a few spicy scenes, small town setting, adventures to be had, food I want to eat, and even characters I would like to throat punch. Overall, I love everyone in this story. The author did a great job building up characters and setting up little tidbits for future books. I can't wait to read more.

My first Andrea Thome book was such a lovely introduction to her writing! Mine Again had that sweet, cozy small town feeling I love, with a side of spice and a relationship I really enjoyed watching develop. Delilah is a Chicago attorney whose stay in Sunflower, Montana, is supposed to be temporary, while Ranger is a single dad with deep roots in the community. Their arrangement comes with an expiration date, but naturally, feelings have other plans.
Ranger was such an easy hero to adore. He’s patient, steady, loyal, and kind, and there was something so appealing about watching a genuinely good man fall in love. I loved Delilah as well, and these two felt like a wonderful match. They were mature, grounded, and competent, which made their relationship satisfying to follow. I enjoyed seeing their connection grow beyond the initial chemistry and become something worth reconsidering their plans for.
While there’s plenty of sweetness here, the story also makes room for deeper emotions. The experience of having a parent with dementia was handled beautifully, bringing tenderness and depth to a romance that already had me invested. I appreciated how the book balanced those heavier moments with the warmth of the setting and the joy of watching Delilah and Ranger grow closer.
Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are legends in the audiobook world for good reason, and their performances here were a reminder of exactly why. They captured the characters’ emotions so well, giving both the lighter moments and the more vulnerable scenes the attention they deserved. This was such an enjoyable listen, and I’d happily read more from Andrea Thome.
Perfect for readers who love:
* Sweet small town romances with a side of spice
* Patient, steady single dad heroes
* Mature, grounded characters
* Temporary arrangements that turn into real feelings
* Tender family storylines with emotional depth
* Audiobooks narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York

this book made me so happy 🌟
Thank you so much to the author, the publisher and NetGalley for this arc 🫶🏻
Sometimes it’s hard to get into the first book in a series when the following books haven’t even been published, but with Mine Again it wasn’t the case.
We see the story of Delilah Spencer and Ranger Beckham, two different people, from different places, who meet in the most beautiful town in Montana... Sunflower 🌻 they would need to risk something, but that’s just the beginning…
It’s a super original and cute story, not only do you stay with the story of Delilah and Ranger, but you start to get attached to the secondary characters and THAT for me, it’s the best when you start a series of books.
I already want to read the second one 🤭

Thanks to the author and Must Love Audio for a #gifted copy of the ALC. All thoughts are my own.
I absolutely LOVED this book. It's so adorable, cozy and so perfect for the fall. It has so much depth and centers around mature MC's which I absolutely loved. It's emotional but won't take you out and with most small-town books, the side characters add so much to the story. This is my first book by Andrea and I can't wait to continue with the Sunflower series.
Delilah is a traveling lawyer, taking on jobs where extra legal help is needed. She loves the idea of not being in one place too long. Traveling and living different places is exciting to her. When she lands in Sunflower, Montana she's not expecting to fall in love with the small-town, the people and especially Ranger.
Oh my word, I loved Ranger. Talk about a walking green flag and he's a single dad. BONUS POINTS! Newly divorced, Ranger is the band director at the small high school and also helps his parents with their farm. He's one of those MC's that is so easy to love. Selfless, thoughtful, patient and falls first for Delilah!
These two couldn't be more different but they just work. They become friends, enjoy deep meaningful conversations together and slowly fall in love. It's doesn't hit them quickly or fast, it's so natural and I really loved this aspect of the book. Andrea's writing felt so natural. It's mature and fun and was so easy to get sucked right into.
Watching these two work through the complexities of their lives, fall in love and then try to figure out how to go about making things work seemed like real life. Andrea weaves in Rangers daughter, his parents and the town so effortlessly and I was quickly invested in them as well.
✨Please check your TW: Delilah's father is suffering from dementia but it is handled so tenderly and gently. I really appreciated the way Andrea took this on.
🎤Let's talk audio: You guys, Andi and Sebastian in duet are such a treat. They have the BEST chemistry and just throw life into these two characters. These to have such fun banter back and forth and their performances seem so effortless. I really love these two narrating together. I found myself chuckling so many times. They just really make this sweet story such a fun listen and add emotion and depth to these characters. Loved the audio!
It seems like it's getting harder and harder to find romance books with mature characters who know how to communicate and express themselves and their feelings. As a more mature romance reader, I LIVE for characters and stories like this so THANK YOU Andrea! I loved this and ya'll need to add this to your fall TBR!

Delilah moved from Chicago to the small town of Sunflower, Montana as a traveling lawyer. Ranger was newly divorced, but is still best friends with his ex-wife. He is also a parent to a teenage girl. Their relationship had an end date, but you know that was never going to be enough. Ranger is a green flag hero. Delilah had a lot going with her parents, and how that affected her. The audiobook is perfectly narrated in duet style by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, two of my favorite narrators! I love the cozy vibes of the story that had a lot of heart.

Delilah is a big city girl moving to the small town of Sunflower, Montana, and watching her adapt to the wide-open spaces, wildlife, and small-town life is honestly pretty entertaining. She is quick-witted, funny, and definitely not used to this new lifestyle. I also loved her bestie, Daisy. Delilah is a traveling contract lawyer, which gives her the freedom to move around, but she never expected this small Montana town to start feeling like home.
Ranger is newly divorced, although the divorce was amicable, and their situation makes things feel a little complicated. He is also one of the hottest men in this small town. Ranger is mature, caring, and has a teenage stepdaughter he loves and continues to show up for. The overall vibe of this story is a little forbidden, a lot rustic, and full of those cozy small-town feelings.
This may be a slow-burn romance with an uncertain ending, but the found family, rugged characters, and pop culture references kept me hooked. I loved how the author incorporated the Montana setting without becoming overly descriptive. But honestly, the reference to those classic shirtless book covers had my full attention. At this point, there is mostly kissing and a whole lot of convincing themselves that they don’t need a relationship, a fling, or anything beyond their professional boundaries.
Ranger may be deep, sexy, and caring, but he is also a father figure, and his responsibilities matter to him. Still, Ranger is such a goner. He totally falls first, and I loved watching him try to figure out what to do with those feelings.
I also adored that his ex is still in the picture and happens to be his best friend. Between his parents, his ex, and his daughter, Delilah doesn’t stand much of a chance against the pull of Ranger’s life and the people who love him. Of course, they try to convince themselves that casual works. I mean, something is better than nothing, right? Their chemistry and banter, though? Chef’s kiss.
Delilah’s biggest dilemma becomes whether it is really Ranger or the town itself that is bringing comfort to her soul. That is honestly a solid late-night thought. I also appreciated that when the story became steamy, the intimate moments felt purposeful and connected to their relationship instead of just being thrown in for the sake of it.
The final days of this sweet romance slip by so quickly, and then tragedy strikes, forcing Delilah to make what feels like exactly the wrong choice. The heartbreak from that decision stretches through the final chapters, and I was sitting there hoping so hard for that happy-for-now ending to this incredible love story.
But honestly, the geology references in this book absolutely hooked me too. I mean, give me a golden retriever farmer/cowboy, a big city girl, and an epic romance, and I am already invested. This book is sweet and tender, mature for the most part, steamy, and absolutely worms its way into your heart.
The story ends sweetly and beautifully, which fits the rest of this mature love story perfectly. I loved that many of the reasons keeping these characters apart eventually became some of the reasons they found their way back together.
The small-town charm, found family, and variety of characters and their own stories made this such a beautiful read. I’m so excited the authors sent me an ARC copy. I know it isn’t out yet, but this is definitely one that should be on your TBR.
This was a sweet and delightful read that I really enjoyed, even if I don’t think it will be one I’ll personally reread. It’s the kind of book I’m happy to pass along to the Little Free Library so another reader can enjoy this charming small-town romance too. I really appreciate the arc in paperback form and am I leaving an honest review voluntarily.

This was such a sweet and cozy small-town romance, and while I enjoyed it overall, there were a few things that kept it from being a higher rating for me. 🤎
Delilah is a big-city attorney from Chicago who comes to Sunflower, Montana for a temporary work assignment. There, she meets Ranger, a single dad with deep roots in the town. What starts as something temporary slowly becomes much harder to leave behind when real feelings begin to develop.
Why I Picked It:
I received this one as an ARC, and the small-town romance premise immediately caught my attention. I was also really curious about the contrast between Delilah, who is constantly moving from place to place, and Ranger, who is deeply rooted in Sunflower.
What I Loved:
The Sunflower setting was probably one of my favorite things about this book. The town had such a warm, cozy atmosphere, and I loved the community and found-family feeling throughout the story.
I also really enjoyed the banter and the chemistry between Delilah and Ranger. Their relationship had some really sweet moments, and I appreciated that the characters were generally mature and actually communicated instead of creating unnecessary drama.
What I Didn’t Love:
My biggest issue was definitely the romance. It felt WAY too fast for me. They go from getting to know each other to being deeply in love very quickly, and I really wish we had gotten more time to see their relationship develop.
I also felt like some parts of the plot could have used more development, and there were a few moments where I found myself questioning certain decisions.
The Characters:
I really enjoyed Ranger, especially his role as a single dad and the life he had built in Sunflower. I also liked seeing Delilah slowly start questioning the life she thought she wanted and whether she really wanted to keep running from place to place.
I just wish we had gotten a little more character development before some of the bigger emotional decisions happened.
Tropes / Vibes:
• small-town romance
• single dad
• city girl x small-town guy
• found family
• temporary relationship
• forced proximity
• cozy small-town vibes
Final Thoughts:
Overall, this was a cute and comforting romance that kept me entertained, and I really enjoyed the small-town atmosphere and community. I just wanted the romance to slow down a little and give the characters more time to build that connection.
If you love cozy small-town romances, found family, and happy endings, I think this could definitely be one for you. 🌻🤎

Mine Again is book 1 in the Sunflower series and it was absolutely adorable. It was such a warm, cozy, refreshing and emotional read that truly surprised me. As much as this book is a really good time, it also carries so much depth and emotional maturity. Andrea I cannot commend you enough for the amount of maturity, communication and understanding that these characters had. It was so refreshing to see a relationship built by 2 mature adult characters that didn't act like children. That voiced their thoughts and emotions throughout. The setting was so charming, it just felt like a warm hug throughout and the side characters just completed everything perfectly.
Ranger, that man is the most green flag I have ever read in an MMC, he is absolutely beautiful. I completely fell hard and fast for him. Delilah was such a strong FMC and the way she opened up her heart in the end was just so beautiful. The chemistry between these 2 was amazing, the friendship they built and how genuine their relationship developed into more was chef's kiss. Seriously the true highlight is the LEVEL OF MATURITY in these characters, this is what I want !!!! It was just perfect.
Overall, this was such a beautiful and heart warming read. I believe it should be on every romance readers shelf!
🎧 The narration by Andi Arndt & Sebastian York was perfection. They just nailed these characters so well. Portrayed the emotions and the feelings so perfectly. Their tones just reflected these characters to a tee. Their performances were so good and kept me hooked to the story. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 HUGE STARS!
WOW. I am obsessed. Everyone needs to know about Mine Again! This one ranks right up there with Carley Fortune’s Every Summer After for me—and that is saying A LOT.
I could not get enough of the chemistry between Delilah and Ranger. The heat, the banter, the flirting, the tension… 🔥 But what really made it work for me was everything happening around that chemistry—the messy “real life” stuff that kept getting in the way and made their relationship feel so much more genuine.
Delilah is a Chicago attorney who has built her life around never staying anywhere—or getting too attached to anyone. When a temporary work assignment lands her in the small town of Sunflower, Montana, she meets Ranger, a deeply rooted local, high school band director, and single dad who has pretty much given up on finding real love. What starts as an arrangement with an expiration date quickly becomes a whole lot harder to walk away from.
And can we talk about the Montana backdrop?! Yes, please. Give me the mountains, the small-town community, the found family, and a romance I can completely lose myself in. I wanted to pack my bags and move to Sunflower right along with Delilah.
This was romantic, sexy, funny, heartfelt, and ridiculously easy to devour. I was completely invested in Delilah and Ranger from beginning to end, and I genuinely did not want their story to be over. LOVED. THIS. BOOK.
Thank you so much to Hesse Creek Media and NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review. Mine Again publishes October 13, 2026, and I will absolutely be telling everyone about this one. 🌻🏔️❤️

I want to move to Sunflower! 🌻 I absolutely loved everything about this book! Seriously no notes! This was such an addicting, heartwarming story and I didn’t want to put it down. The author did an amazing job describing the town and I could picture everything so easily.
I loved all of the characters, especially Ranger and Delilah! They were so freaking cute! Their banter, chemistry and the fact that they actually communicated made me love them even more. I absolutely adored Delilah and loved seeing her fall in love with the town and people. I also thought the author did a real good job handling the situation with her dad, even though I was bawling the whole time. Now Ranger this man is a walking green flag and has moved to the top of my list! 🙌 The way he takes care of everyone he loves, especially Delilah 🥹 🔥 His daughter was hilarious too. I loved her sass, she had me laughing out loud so many times! I really loved Florence and her friendship with Ranger. And Jesse?! Gah, I love him! I really hope he gets his chance with Ivy in future books 👀 Honestly I could go on and on about so many of the characters and things I loved but I don’t want to say too much and spoil anything. Definitely add this to your TBR! This book gave me all the emotions and is definitely going to be a favorite. I can’t wait to return to Sunflower with the next book!

The small town of Sunflower and its residents has captured my heart. I was so captured by the scenic backdrop of Sunflower, Montana and honestly it feels like such a cozy place to fall in love. Mine Again is an easy to read romance that will have you turning the pages.
Delilah comes with a past and is guarded. Ranger is coming out of a divorce with his best friend. Delilah and Ranger's romance is extremely sweet, magical and well paced. I loved the two of them together and watching them fall in love. I found Delilah to be such a strong FMC who so deserves to be loved properly. She has a rule where she doesn't get attached to a place or the people in the places she works at temporarily. But obviously this proves to be hard in the town of Sunflower where the community is so close knit and inviting. And Ranger is so freaking sweet and considerate in so many ways. He's gentle and patient with Delilah and you can see his kindness in the way he takes care of the people around him.
The residents of Sunflower are also such a joy and wonderful addition to the story. The found family trope is strong in this one!! I can't wait for the next one in this series.

“Sunflower, Montana, Population 4100. Come for a visit. Leave as family.”
Okayyy, this was even cuter than I expected and surprised me in the best way. Such a lovely small-town romance to cozy up with this autumn!! 🍂
🌻 Delilah
I really loved her. She had so much personality, which I always love in an FMC. Commitment? Not her thing. She went from “No feelings. No falling.” to falling completely in love, and I loved watching it happen. 🤭
Some of her inner thoughts had me cracking up:
“That settles it. I'll friend-zone him, to save him from himself. I've never felt prouder of myself. It's noble of me. I'm a good person.”
🌻 Ranger
“You're perfect. Let me take care of you.”
Okay, Ranger. You don’t have to tell me twice. 🥹
He was so dreamy and perfect!! The biggest green flag.
I loved that they were both smart, mature people, and it was so nice to watch them fall for each other. And the spice was so good!! 🤭🔥
If you’re craving a cute small-town romance this autumn, this one is such a lovely pick!! 🌻

This is what I call a small town romance!
Mature characters, an instant connection and a town full of amazing side characters.
Lawyer Delilah never stays in a place to long after a bad break up and ends up taking a temporary job in Sunflower, Montana where she meets newly divorced Ranger, dad, parttime farmer and music teacher. Their connection is instant but she has to decide if staying in one place is what she really wants…
The story was heartfelt and as someone who has lost a parent to Alzheimers, the part about Delilah’s dad had so many relatable moments that her story spoke to me.
If you are in the mood for a swoony romance, with humor and mature characters who deal with real life problems all coated in a romantic small town vibe, this is the book for you.

“Sometimes putting down roots isn't about giving up your freedom, it's about finally finding where you belong.” 🌲🎸🏔️
Reading this really made me think about how my perspective on love is evolving. I find myself leaning a bit more traditional when it comes to romance. If a man truly loves a woman, he should be willing to drop everything and rearrange his world to be with her! Ranger is such a sweet, dedicated hero, and the way his roots and community embrace Delilah made all the difference. Having a supportive network of family and friends surrounding a couple makes building a life together so much easier and stronger.
A huge thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC!

As a Chicago attorney myself, I especially enjoy that connection to Delilah! Escaping into the beauty and charm of small-town Montana is the perfect mental break from the pace of everyday life. Andrea Thome has a wonderful way of creating engaging characters that you quickly become invested in. I love the sense of family and community woven throughout this heartfelt romance. A wonderful start to the Sunflower series!

When I saw this book I had to immediately request it as the cover is so cute! As a lover of small town romances and the single parent trope, this book was right up my alley. Reading this was a super sweet, fun time. It was so cozy and was what I was looking for after reading so many thrillers and horrors recently. For some reason I also love books set in Montana so it was great reading how the author described beautiful Montana. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more from this author!

This book was AMAZING! It felt like stepping straight into a 90s rom-com, complete with all the feelings. I laughed, I cried, I smiled way too hard, and I honestly didn’t want it to end. Such a fun, feel-good read that completely pulled me in. 💕✨

I loved this. 🥹 Ranger is the greenest of green flags. Delilah fell into that town & family like she was meant to be there because she WAS. The meddling parents, daughter, and ex-wife (yep!) had me cracking up, but they didn’t even need it! The chemistry between delilah and Ranger was undeniable from page 1. This was such a fun & sweet romance. 😍
You’ll love this if you love:
small town romance
he falls first
Found family
single dad
meddling friends & family
“this is just temporary”

This was such a warm, easy read. Delilah and Ranger actually communicate like proper adults, which is rarer than it should be in this genre, and I loved that. The found family element with Ranger's parents, his ex-wife, and his daughter all somehow getting along shouldn't work as well as it does, but it does. Sunflower felt like a proper place rather than just a backdrop, and Ranger being the soft, selfless single dad type is exactly my kind of green flag hero.
My only gripe is I wanted a bit more friction along the way, everything felt so gentle that when the conflict finally hit, it landed a bit suddenly rather than building. Still, a genuinely cosy, character-driven small town romance that I'd happily recommend.

Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐
Mine Again was a sweet and comforting small-town romance, and while I enjoyed it overall, it didn’t completely stand out for me.
What worked best was the contrast between Delilah and Ranger. Delilah has built her life around movement and independence, while Ranger is deeply rooted in Sunflower and in the life he has created there. I liked that difference between them because it gave the romance a natural tension from the beginning.
Ranger was probably my favourite character. I appreciated that he came across as genuinely caring rather than simply being written as the perfect romantic hero. His role as a father also gave the story more emotional weight, because any relationship with him naturally involves more than just the two of them.
Delilah was a little more difficult for me to connect with at times. I understood her reluctance to settle down and why she was so protective of her independence, but some of her internal conflict became repetitive. There were moments when I felt like the story kept returning to the same emotional obstacle without adding much new to it.
The romance itself was enjoyable, especially the tension created by the idea that their relationship could remain temporary. I liked watching that arrangement become more complicated as real feelings developed. Their chemistry was believable, although I personally wanted a little more intensity between them.
The Sunflower setting also added a lot of charm. The small-town atmosphere, the community and the found-family feeling made the book very easy to settle into. It has that warm, comforting quality that works really well for this type of romance.
My main issue was the predictability. I could see the direction of the story fairly early, and some of the emotional beats felt familiar. I also would have liked a little more depth from the secondary characters, especially since this is the beginning of a series built around the town and its community.
Still, this was a pleasant read with likeable characters, a cosy setting and a romance that was easy to root for. I enjoyed it, even if it didn’t leave a particularly strong impression once I finished.
