Hi, I’m Madi. And this is my story.
Warning: it’s pretty crazy.
My sort-of best friend has just gone missing. It’s not really unusual for her to skip out for days at a time, but this time it’s different. Somebody is out to get her. I just wish I knew who. Everybody thinks she’s dead and that one of my friends did it.
Sure, a lot of people hate her, but who would hate her enough to kill her? I just hope I can find her before it’s too late.
I will figure out the the truth — one dirty secret at a time.

I started this short series because, well, it was free. It was very obvious the author is a huge fan of Sara Shepard. She used the same character names and general premise of all her books. I hated the main character at first. Her "I can't help it if I'm gorgeous and everyone loves me" attitude seriously irked me. She became better later on, though. I was also a bit annoyed at the fact that as soon as the two characters admit they like each other, all of a sudden they LOVE each other sooo much and just can't stay apart. It was too juvenile for me and made me think that I need to start reading more "adult" books. But overall a decent story. Too bad I can't remember anyone's name =/ Oh yeah, it was obviously painful who the killer was, too. No wow factor.
